I gotcha' to click... Hahaha! Seriously though... think about it. French pornos... "Oui! Oui! Oui!" That is what they sound like!
I finally got enough spare time coupled with the right program (thanks Falcon!) that I needed to convert my DVD copy of "Tellement People" into a file that I could upload onto YouTube, LiveVideo, and all of the other websites I'm on. "Tellement People" is a television show that is the equivalent of Entertainment Tonight over in France. I made an appearance on the show not too long ago. The host Clara Morgan came all the way from France to my neck of the woods and I took her out on a fun little shopping excursion in Los Angeles. I showed her how we do it in LA. Then we stopped by Sunset Tan (home of the reality show on E!) to get our tan on. Check me out (and even little Gucci made an appearance) on the show...
"Tellement People" was aired all over Europe (Spain, England, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg) and Lebanon. Awww yeeeahhh! It's all about the world domination, baby! ;)

I was scheduled to be a special guest host at the MMA fights this weekend. I wonder what happened. Do you think they lost their fight permit or something?
From their website...
The fight component of our event has been postponed.
We are refunding all tickets sold and producing a FREE event with special guest performances to be announced.
Today has been an extremely sad for me. Some days I wish I wasn't so sensitive. I've been crying all day. This morning, my friend Ika texted me and told me that the 'Last Lecture' professor, Dr. Randy Pausch, had died. Randy Pausch had pancreatic cancer. My heart aches for the pain that his wife and 3 young children must be going through.
I knew the news was coming someday but much like with my own father's death, I was in a bit of denial until it actually happened. And in a way I just imagined him (and my father too of) somehow beating the odds. Unfortunately, in both my father's and his case, they didn't stand a chance.
Randy had become quite a spokesperson and activist for pancreatic cancer research and one of my favorite charities, Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. He used his eloquent way of speaking to give heartfelt testimony to the Labor, Health & Human Services Subcommittee on behalf of Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in hopes of having them allocate more funds towards pancreatic cancer research, even in spite of his poor health. And you may have been one of the 3 million + people that have watched his famous 'Last Lecture' speech on YouTube which has inspired many to achieve their childhood dreams. If not, I strongly recommend that you play the video below.
He will be missed by many including me. I have decided to give another $500 to my Million Dollar Mission campaign to raise money for much need pancreatic cancer research in memory of the late Dr. Randy Pausch. I would be thrilled if some of you did the same. If you have watched his videos and they have touched your lives like they have mine, please donate. Pancreatic Cancer Action Network was one of the charities that Randy endorsed. I've noticed that the donations have been slowing down a bit... I know times are rough for a lot of you but I really do need your help!
Pancreatic cancer has the worst survival rate and is the most under funded of all major cancers. 75% of pancreatic cancer patients will die within 12 months and less than 5% survive for five years!
Please donate to Bobbi's Million Dollar Mission Campaign for Pancreatic Cancer Action Network
In honor of my father who died from the disease when I was only 19 years old, I have pledged to use my high friend count on MySpace to help out this worthy cause. Imagine if all of my friends on my list gave up one dinner and a movie, or pizza and beer, or a few cups of Starbucks and used that money to make a donation to this instead! We could potentially change the course of history for this disease forever! Please give what you can but give from your heart. Together we can really make a difference. All of the donations go directly to the organization and are tax deductible.
Here is the address to send your tax deductible donation. Make your check payable to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and send it to:

Some of you are having hard times financially and I completely understand. This economy has been rough on a lot of us lately. Gas prices are at an all time high. It seems like the price of everything is going up because of the price of gas. The housing market is in the toilet. And people are getting laid off from their jobs. But don't fret...
Here is a way that you can help that won't cost you a single cent. You should definitely do this. It will make you feel good about yourself.
I see a lot of you have signed up already (thank you) but please make sure you read this because I don't think a lot of you are understanding how the site works. If you aren't taking the proper steps, you aren't going to be raising any money for charity and you will be wasting your time.
4. This one is important because I see people signing up but then they aren't doing the one thing that helps to raise the money for the charity. You need to place the badge HTML code into your myspace or facebook profiles and anywhere else that you are on the net. You can even add it to your own personal website(s). I think you get the picture.
5. Leave it up on your page. You don't have to do a thing. Just leave it up there and it will do the work raising the money for charity for you.
6. This one is important... please promote this URL for me. Post a bulletin and tell all your friends along with your family to help me spread the word. www.socialvibe.com/bobbi SocialVibe has been generous enough to offer $1 per signup to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network for everyone that signs up through that link. I don't know what has been going on lately but I've been having my sleep interrupted by some rather annoying people. Those of you who know me in person know that I'm usually a really nice girl... but you don't want to be the one who wakes me up. Especially if you happen to be a telemarketer. For a good laugh, ask my friend what happened to the people who sent me a junk fax at 4 am and woke me up one night. Let's just say they had better have stocked up on enough ink that day to deal with the consequences.
I love my beauty sleep and I think the problem is this. I'm an insomniac at times but once I go down for the count, I don't like to be woken up for anything stupid. Once I get woken up, unlike other people, I can't get back to sleep 99.9% of the time. I think that is why I get so mad.
The other morning at around 6 am my phone started ringing. I look at the time... 6 am on a Saturday morning? Are you friggin' kidding me?! So I answer and I'm already fuming. I look at my caller ID and the number says 702-520-1488. I remember thinking, "702 area code... Great! That's just lovely! It's some drunko that happens to be in Vegas right now. They've probably been out partying all night and at this point they are so passed the point of sobriety that they now think that 6 am is a decent hour to call me. I can't wait to find out who the hell this is!"
Sleep voice: "Hello!!!!"
It's a recording on the other end. "Urgent message! This is your second notice. Your auto warranty is about to expire unless you take action now!"
I'm half asleep. My auto warranty? Second notice? My car is almost brand new. What the hell? As if the price of gas isn't bad enough and I drive an Escalade, now they are going to cancel my warranty too? And I never even got my "first warning". They place me on hold and I'm waiting for some operator to tell me about my car warranty supposedly expiring.
*Hold music* Which, mind you, sounds like dolphins on crack while mating. Don't you guys have any George Michael - Careless Whisper back there for me to listen to? Is that too much to ask for?
Ok... I'm awake now! And now I'm really pissed off. I'm thinking this call is BS right about now. I'm going to wait for this ahole to get on the line and I'm going to tell them off for waking me up unless this is really something important. And please hurry because this hold music is blowing out my eardrum. I haven't heard octave ranges this annoying since Rosanne Barr tried to sing the National Anthem at the San Diego Padres game.
Finally someone gets on the line. She wants to know what the make and model of my car is. Wait a minute... didn't that recording just say that my car warranty is expiring? So wouldn't you know what kind of car I have? I start grilling the chick on the other line. "Who are you? What is the name of your company?"
She hangs up on me. Argh! I call back the number and I get a recording that says, "We are sorry if we reached your number in error. We only purchase and call business phone listings. If you would like your number removed from our calling list, please press 1."
I press 1 and hang up. The strange thing is I go back to bed and I'm actually able to fall back asleep. Yay! But not so fast. I'm staying at my friend's house and now her phone starts to ring at 8 am. Guess who it was. Those same Vegas crackheads but they called her from a different number... 702-520-1368. They call both her cell and home phone number. She doesn't pick up. That's it! I'm up for good now! So much for going back to sleep. I decided that I hate these auto warranty scammers!
Later that day I'm messaging one of my other friends online and I start to bitch about what happened. He sent me links to this website called http://www.whocallsme.com. It's a rather interesting site. I learn that I'm not the only person that is getting calls from this auto warranty company. I found a link to an article about this scam.
Here's a link to the National Do Not Call Registry. If you hate telemarketers interrupting your sleep as much as I do, make sure you are listed there too.
If you are getting phone calls from this company (or anyone else), file a complaint with them. I sure did. And I really hope the phone calls stop. From what I read on the WhoCallsMe.com website, some people are complaining that they continue to receive calls in spite of being listed on the National Do Not Call Registry and even after they requested to be taken off the list.
And now unfortunately I'm receiving text spam. I get the occasional promoter texting me about a club they are throwing here and there. I can deal with that. However, I got a text message that woke me up the other night at 2:38 am.
From: 3898
hqadbabv@klebergbank.com / / This is not a fly by night company China Energy Corp - CHGY Time is money
"Fly by night" my ass! You are the ones that decided to text me at 2:30 in the morning. While I do agree that "time is money", I must point out that if you want to sell me your stock, can you please not try to sell it to me in the middle of the night when I am trying to sleep? Not to mention, what type of moron decides to buy stock from someone who randomly text messages them? I'd love to find out what the success rate is of a campaign using tactics like these. I have no clue how these people even got my private cell phone number but enough is enough. Does anyone out there in cyberland know how to report these people?
Update 7-16-08: I just got woken up by a telemarketer again. This time the number that he called me from was 925-458-6624. I've been shooting a new movie; working long hours and then only getting 4 hours of sleep each night. I flew home last night and was so exhausted! This was my one day that I had to sleep in and catch up on my rest. Wouldn't you know it, that damn auto warranty scam called me again and woke me up! Where's my machine gun?!!! I stayed on the line to talk to the rep and asked what the name of the company was. He said it was "Warranty Services". The guy I spoke to was super polite, unlike the last person I had spoken with. I told him I am on the National Do Not Call List and he said that he would remove me from their files. We shall see... I'm not going to hold my breath. These people seem to call me at the worst times, mostly when I am trying to catch up on much needed sleep!
...But there's a catch. It has to go to charity. Read this blog for all the details. It's easy and quick and only takes a second of your time. Plus, it will make you feel good about yourself to do a good deed.
You guys are friggin' awesome!

Lastly, I wanted to give a big thank you to all of the kind and generous people who have donated to the cause already. I am pleased to announce that together we have raised almost $10,000 dollars. You guys never cease to amaze me! From the bottom of my heart, thanks! I couldn't have done it without YOU! :)
As I approach 1.3 million friends on myspace, I thought of a brilliant plan. Can you imagine if every single person each gave me a dollar? I'd be rich, right?
Well sorta... First of all, I could never see myself asking ya'll for a dollar. I mean come on... that would be extremely tacky!
However, I came up with an idea and a goal. I see people on these social networking websites building up a lot of fame and notoriety. How many of them are doing things to make a difference in this world? There are a few here and there but the way I see it, there aren't enough. And in this ME ME ME (and what about ME?) driven society, I thought that something must be done. So I set a goal for myself and do you know what I'm going to do? I am going to be the first person to use my position on myspace and these websites to raise a million dollars for a charity that I care about. I am going to raise $1 million to fight pancreatic cancer! And the plan was born...
I lost my dad to pancreatic cancer when I was only 19, and my whole world crumbled. I watched him suffer from this horrible disease and knew that I didn't want anyone else to go through what he went through.
Pancreatic cancer has the worst survival rate and is the most under funded of all major cancers. 75% of pancreatic cancer patients will die within 12 months and less than 5% survive for five years!!! The only way to change the horrible statistics is to raise as much money as possible for research! We've seen what research efforts have done for other diseases. Let's raise money to fund research NOW for pancreatic cancer and not let another person lose someone they love.
The people at Pancreatic Cancer Action Network were kind enough to help me come up with a way to do this. Now I just need your help. I would greatly appreciate it if you would help me out with this plan.
Please give whatever you are able. This is a very important cause to me. Just look at it this way... give up a couple of Starbucks, or give up that pizza & beer for one Saturday night, or one manicure & pedicure, or dinner & a movie. I think you get the picture. Give what you can but give from your heart!
Together, we can really make a difference!
Visit www.pancan.org/bobbi and check it out. All donations are tax deductible and if you donate, you even have a chance to win a date with ME. And... I am going to give an autographed photo to the first 100 people that donate.
XoXoX, Bobbi Billard
P.S. If you cannot afford to give anything (not even a dollar?), another way you can contribute is by helping me spread the word. Please put a banner on your page to help me promote this cause. You can find the code in my "Heroes" section of my myspace.
