why was I not aware the New Kids on the Block made a comeback until 6am this morning while I was "watching" vh1 with no contacts on and my glasses trapped all the way in the bathroom?
I have heard talks of this off and on for years but I still did not know. why? cuz my friends suck! that is all.

So I've been 29 for one whole day. I thought today would be a really sad day but somewhere along the day I got caught up in plans, texts, and goals to even feel sad that I only have one more year to go until I reach the big 3-0. 

Eew. 29 sounds and looks ugly. (Insert Courty's rolling of her eyes.) But anyways I have a few silly thoughts that I need to get rid of right now so that I can sleep.

Thanks to Lois, (Oprah my ass!) aka Arthur.... I had a lot of fun today! I love our date nights. MUAH! And I freaking LOVE my present. I can't wait to burn the house down with you!!

OMG~ So my personal trainer/life coach Jamie, also happens to be the best boyfriend I've EVER had! Not only has she managed to keep me entertained and help me get my life on track in like a kabillion ways, she has made me laugh my fucking ass off! (Ooohhh literally too. Even though she doesn't like it when I laugh while working out.) Anyways, she has said these two things this week and every time I think about it I can't help laughing.

a) Lois where are you??? Superman NEEDS you!!!!

If I lose 15 more pounds by August 15th I will have lost 70 pounds in one year. Which reminds me, I seriously need to put up more recent photos of me. Bye-bye baby weight PLUS a lot more!

School starts this month. YIKES!!!

Hmm... I am still not sure if I can handle working full-time, mommying full-time, AND going to school full-time but I guess we will see.

Umm..... I really wish my baby cousin could come home from Iraq now.

I also wish Lyssa would get over the flu. We are going on 7 days here.

At least once a day I wish I could live in an all pink and white dorm room. Then I realize that I DO live in an all soft pink and white room. Duh!

Lyssa's b-day party is on August 16th. Anyone that has my phone number and wants to come, call away or send a message.

Why did I get contact lenses instead of glasses again? Oh yeah. Lyssa has broken my glasses. TWICE!

I am tired and sooooo going to sleep now. Boring, I know, but that is life.

My life anyways. And who knows? Maybe one day I really will write about being hooked on ones action.

The Reasons Why I Hate & Love The Gym

Over the years I've had my share of ups and down with the place I call Satan's Den. (You may know it as The Gym.) I am fairly confident in my assumption that if Satan had a Hell of his own, it would be the gym. Sure on the outside it looks nice and friendly, but on the inside? On the inside pure evil resides.

Actually I only believe that on certain days.

Some days I do not like the gym. On others days I heart the gym. So I've made a list because it's just this thing I've been doing. Making lists. It's amazing how easier life is when you have lists.

Hate:

I fucking hate the elliptical. I mean dead on serious HATE! The elliptical is the reason why this list is not called why I like/don't like the gym. If I wanted to go up and down a bunch of stair I would NOT have paid for a gym membership! I glare at the thing the whole time I am on. Literally glare! If looks could kill that son of a bitch, it would be dead. And a note to all of you that can speak to your friends while doing it coughJamieArthurcough… Fuck ya'll too!

Love:

I love how fast I lose the weight when I use the elliptical. Not to mention how freaking awesome my legs are looking because of it. Plus it has restored my confidence in my kicking ass ability.

Hate:

Mirrors EVERYWHERE! Why?? Bitch if I wanted to look at myself in the mirror all the damn time I obviously would not have needed a gym membership. I do not want to watch myself as I inflict torture onto my body. 

Love:

I love that Arthur is taller than me and he lets me stand behind him so that when we are doing the free weights I cannot see myself. I love that Jamie busts up laughing every time he moves because I move with him like his shadow. Way to break up the monotony of the gym.

Hate:

Spin class. No I do not think it's cute that you both have it scheduled into your life. Especially Arthur with his little G-Mail calendar invite reminders. And no matter how many time ya'll ask me to go to a class with you, my answer will forever be NO! I know myself. I am not the one to stand up on a flimsy little bicycle and pedal the thing a bagillion miles an hour. I. Would. Fall. I'm on to you guys. Just sitting back… Hoping I will show up to a class… Then proceed to fall off and knock other bikes down in the process like dominos. Happen? Not gonna! And also if little tiny Jamie feels the need to cheat, then my ass has NO business in that class what so ever!

Love:

I love spinning on the bike when there is no class and I can go the speed I like. It does not require that I stand up either, so yay me! Also "Yeah girl! Work those spokes!" will forever be ingrained into my memory because of the bicycle.

Hate

I hate that you have to work out to lose weight.

Love

I absolutely LOVE that I have lost all the weight I gained when I was pregnant with Lyssa. I also love that I've lost more than fifty pounds. Once again, yay me!

So in closing… As the weight continues to melt off like butter over popcorn, I will continue to take my unhappily lazy ass to the gym. Speaking of, I am going tonight at seven so I must sleep and do some more school stuff before Lyssa wakes up from her afternoon nap.

Right now I am suffering from a crush! Not just any crush. A HUGE crush. As a matter of fact I don't believe I've ever had a crush on anyone as bad as I do right now.

For those of you that don't know who he is, he is an actor of the show Criminal Minds. I am totally in love with his character Dr. Spencer Reid. His brain is the freaking hottest thing ever. Plus I absolutely LOVE the FBI bulletproof vest!

PS~ His character also loves Halloween.

(Which totally reminds me… I have a VERY important blog to write about Johnny Depp. We will save that for another day though.)

I thought I just loved Dr. Spencer Reid. I was completely wrong though. I watched him (stalked his ass) on YouTube. He is even freaking hot in real life.

Maybe it's because I'm going to school for a degree in criminal justice but this man just does it for me like no one ever has before. Maybe I've evolved and just totally get turned on by nerds?

Who knows or even cares? Or maybe, it's just the hair?? (Connection to my Leo perhaps?)
