Wayne Brady

I played for Wayne Brady last night... I think it's really funny that I play for a lot of celebs when I haven't seen a TV show in over a decade. I never know who anyone is in show business when I'm on stage with them.

It just makes me laugh when I find out who is who after the fact.

Although, I was at a party with Dawnn Lewis, "Cheryl" from "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka", which I saw over 20 times as a teenager.

Shameless Name Dropping

Today was about as perfect and surreal as it gets. I'm in NYC working on "It's Only Life"..

I played for Hal Prince today.
John Bucchino took me out to dinner and to see his show, "A Catered Affair".
He took me backstage and we hung out with Harvey Firestein, Tom Wopat, and Faith Prince, who hugged me and said she hopes we can work together.

Holy shit.
