The best part about this is that I got even percentages of Simon and Jayne. No. Actually, the best part is that I got Kaylee, because I always thought I would be Kaylee - I'm pretty and I like strawberries!

In other news
Current mood: sad

Kiai, the beautiful Akita I babysit for sometimes weeks on end, passed away tonight. She lived to be 14, a ripe old age for that enormous dog. Just a week or so ago, I was sharing my bed with her, and preparing her dinner while she did the hungry dance. I lost a good friend tonight.

Lynelle was a girl! Yes! A big girl....
Current mood: blissful

My hand is all swoled up from trying to hammer fist a stack of boards during practice today. And it tingles a little. And all I did was tenderize my own meat - no boards were broken with my little wee grl fists. However, while hand technique was a failure, but I did manage to completely destroy my personal record with the ax kick. And by destroy, I mean, I have the heat seeking ax kick missile of Doom. I broke more boards today than I had ever thought I possibly could.

In honor of the event, I have taken on a new theme song: The Daniel Boone theme, except I turn the words Daniel Boone to Lynelle, obviously. And, of course, gender specifics have to be adjusted. Try it, I think you'll find it quite catchy.

Daniel Boone was a man,
Yes, a big man!
With an eye like an eagle
And as tall as a mountain was he!

Daniel Boone was a man,
Yes, a big man!
He was brave, he was fearless
And as tough as a mighty oak tree!

From the coonskin cap on the top of ol' Dan
To the heel of his rawhide shoe;
The rippin'est, roarin'est, fightin'est man
The frontier ever knew!

Daniel Boone was a man,
Yes, a big man!
And he fought for America
To make all Americans free!

What a Boone! What a doer!
What a dream come-er-true-er was he!

Daniel Boone was a man!
Yes, a big man!
With a whoop and a holler
he c'd mow down a forest of trees!

Daniel Boone was a man!
Yes, a big man!
If he frowned at a river
In July all the water would freeze!

But a peaceable, pioneer fella was Dan
When he smiled all the ice would thaw!
The singin'est, laughin'est, happiest man
The frontier ever saw!

Daniel Boone was a man!
Yes, a big man!
With a dream of a country that'd
Always forever be free!

What a Boone! What a do-er!
What a dream-come-er-true-er was he!

Baby, I really, really need

a peanut butter milkshake. I'd prefer one from the 49er place in San Andreas, but I'll settle for a shake from any ol' divey joint, as long as they don't blend it up 100 per cent, in order to keep the peanutbutter chunky and thick. Do you know what I mean? When you suck it up, you should get mostly milkshake, but also little chunks of peanut butter, now and again.Yum.

My kingdom for a peanut butter milkshake. Where have all the peanut butter mikshakes of yesterday gone? The sweetest joy, the wildest woe is a peanut butter milkshake.

Who is with me?

How Girly Are You?
Current mood: giggly

I got this quiz in the form of a bulletin, from a friend of mine. I have a few problems with it. Of course, the friend is only 15, so we can't blame her.

Rene and I have been reading it together and we have realized that it is IMPOSSIBLE for anyone to not score "girly." Even a Spartan warrior is going to come off as a cake eating friend of Dorothy.

Each x that you put is one percent
Have fun!! Erase x's from other person when you are filling it out

[] My fingernails/toenails are almost always painted
[x] During the summer practically the only shoes i wear are flip flops <--- Do gladiator sandals count?
