This is such a wonderful event. I have put stories up before about groups who raise money and awareness for Women's Programs and will continue to do so  Raising money for the sexual assault program of the Fort Wayne Women's BureauFort Wayne City Council members, Fire Chief Pete Kelly and several other joined today to see a very unlikely display. INC's Chief Meteorologist Curtis Smith modeled some 4 inch red stilettos. It was a kickoff gathering at the Fort Wayne Country Club for the "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" event. The walk aims to raise money for the sexual assault program of the Fort Wayne Women's Bureau. "Every person has a mother, daughter, wife, colleague or a friend, and woman are raped or assaulted every 90 seconds, that affects a man somewhere in America. As we all know, men are good guys and we want to show the community that men can be role models, stand for what is right, and put an end to sexual assault," says Denice Beights of the Fort Wayne Women's Bureau. 300 men are expected to wear the red stilettos and join Curtis on September 6th at 9am for registration at Headwaters Park for a one mile walk  Watch Video

I love to "cyber window shop" but when it comes down to buying, I go to the real stores with my online shopping list. Today I received this Wall Street Journal blog from someone who is bitching about online shopping.
