CD Release Party THIS SATURDAY!
There are only two more shopping days until the new national holiday that will be known as Buffalo Jones CD Release Party Day. And unlike that OTHER holiday, you don't have to buy ungrateful friends and relatives useless gifts and bake cookies chock full of bitterness and contempt. All you have to do is show up. The Buffalo will do the rest. What do we know about this party? Here is the list:
- The party kicks off at 7:30pm at Caterina Winery in good Ol' Spokane, Washington. Caterina is located at 905 N Washington Street.
- There will be $1 beer! And $1 chardonnay, if you swing that way.
- There will be free food. What kind of food? You will just have to come and see for yourself.
- The Majestic Pat Dundas will be both the bands mascot AND Master of Ceremonies. He will be playing tunes from his iPod and giving haircuts, all at the same time.
- There will be FREE CD's. You read that right, the CD's will be free. The food is free. The alcohol would be free, but the law frowns upon such things. This party isn't just about us, it's about YOU. And we want you to have a good time.
- It's ALL AGES. NO COVER. So you poor college students can come in from the cold. And mingle with the poor homeless people. The Buffalo turn away no one. Mogwai wants it that way.
- It will be fun. It will be epic. It will be forgotten in a week.
And there are some UNKNOWNS, potential surprises to be had! What are they? Well they include:
- Will the cops be called? Will Spokane's finest shoot someone in the head? Taser the entire crown? It's possible!
- If we fill the place to capacity, will Jason REALLY start Tony's brand new drum kit on fire?
- Will SuperFan Brian Baer FINALLY make an honest women out of the Lady Baer
- Will Glenn sing Billie Jean? In his UNDERWEAR? And will he admit publically that Billie Jean IS his lover?
- Will the elusive Varela Bunny make an appearance?
- ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!
So, plan on coming to the show. And if you live out of town, it's not too late to book a flight. Or a seat on the Greyhound. Or head for the closest onramp and get that thumb a workin'! Thanks for the continued support. As cliché as it is, the best is yet to come. This is your last opportunity to say you were there. That you heard of us first. That is all.

5 days left...new songs up
So we just loaded up the remaining songs from the album.
You can download 'Don't Need You' for FREE today only. It will be replaced by another track tomorrow morning. So grab it while you can. If you want to get the cd in its entirety, make sure to come to the cd release party on Saturday...
We'd love to pack the place. So come have some food on us, and cheap drinks, and free cds. It will be way more fun than a Foghat Concert.

Download Marie today!
Thanks to anyone who listened to us on the radio last night. it was a good time.
Today's free download is Marie. Only five more to go after this one. You can download it anytime between now and tomorrow morning, when it will be replaced by a new song. Again, this will happen everyday leading up to the CD Release Party at Caterina Winery on Saturday.

Radio tonight...another free song...etc
We are going to be on 2 radio shows tonight.
The first will be a live interview on Battlestar Eclectica on 92.3 fm here in Spokane at 8pm. You can also hear it online from anywhere in the world if you go to www.kyrs.org and follow the links.
Secondly, we are hosting the Local Lounge on 103.1 KCDA tonight at 10pm. You can listen to that online as well at www.1031kcda.com
Today's free download is 'Handle With Care' which i personally feel is the prettiest song on the album. Go grab it and play it for your significant others and I guarantee positive results tonight. Or not. You can download the song until tomorrow morning when it will be replaced.
We are rolling right up on our cd release party. Less than a week. We'd love to see you guys at the Caterina Winery next Saturday. Here are the specifics...

8 days and counting
A lot to cover today and not much time to do it.
First...
Todays free download in the song 'watch tv' from our soon to be released album 'wake up. struggle' you can download it free anytime between now and tomorrow morning when it is replaced by a new song. As you may know by now, this will happen everyday leading up to Sat. Sept 6th when we have the cd release party at Caterina Winery.
We are loading up the gear as we speak and about to head out the door and up to beautiful Schweitzer Mountain Resort to play a set at Fall Fest. It is going to be a fantastic day of great music, great beer, and great friends. If you are looking for something to do today, i suggest heading up the mountain. We go on at 1pm.
Gotta get rolling. Maybe we will see you today at Schweitzer.

New day, new free song...Back Home
From now until sometime tomorrow morning you can download the song 'back home' here on our myspace profile for free. The track comes from our soon to be released cd 'wake up. struggle.' Feel free to download the song, burn it, email it to friends, whatever. Tomorrow morning it will be replaced by another track from the album. This will happen everyday leading up to the Release Party on Saturday, September 6th.
We'd love to see you there. No cover, free food, free cds, $1 beer, $1 wine, pyrotechnics, dancing Baers, you name it.
In the meantime, we are playing at Fall Fest up at Schweitzer Mountain tomorrow at 1pm. This is a very cool festival with lots of great beer and food. It is family friendly as well. Some come climb the mountain with us tomorrow afternoon. Or just make it a weekend and stay at the resort and check out Clumsy Lovers on Sunday afternoon.
