How many BuiltForSpeed bass players does it take to fall off of a speaker?

I would like to say thank you to all of the friends of BuiltForSpeed that have called or sent messages to us making sure I'm alright. the prognosos is two broken ribs sustained from a short fall from a speaker. The Law of Diminishing Odds states that you can only do something so many times before something goes wrong. Lucky for me tequila is a pain medication. I will not be canceling any shows so don't worry about that. Please come out to see us at the Warehouse Saturday August 6th and hang with us, Afflicted, and She Craves. Hope to see you there.

Tyler in the Hizeee!

We would like to thank the Staff at Clicks and all of the friends that showed up tonight to root us on. That's right, I said "root". To all the new friends we made, we will see you next time we pass through this way. Jager was killed, egos were trampled, and somehow there are three unaccounted for black eyes. Also one unaccounted for brown eye, but that shit always happens in Texas. See you fuckers soon.

The second time that 40oz. saved our lives!

On our way to Monroe Friday night we encountered a small problem. I am not sure if all of you know this but vans need gas to make it to their destinations. We found ourselves in the most precarious position. Picture this, Your heroes on the side of Line Ave. standing next to an immobile and very thirsty van. The ironic part of this situation is that a Circle K was on the way. Right across the street to be exact. Many plans were hatched to save us from this predicament. One of which was to remove the trailer and push the van across the street. Not my favorite. The winner however belonged to Jonathan. Grabbing two empty Coke bottles. He ran to the gas station and filled them with with sweet petrol. That was enough gas to get us started and on our way to greater things. Like Squintfest. As for the first time 40oz. saved our lives, You'll just have to ask us later.

Again, Ruston is the shiznit!

Squintfest is something we look forward to every year. It is for a good cause and we get to see alot of our friends that we don't normally get to. When you play as much as a lot of us do, you never get to see other bands play unless you are playing with them (that didn't come out right), ( I said "come out"). This is getting worse. How do you come out? Not that I want to know. I mean I'm not like that. Don't judge me. So my clothes match and I am sexy. That doesn't mean anything. Anyway!! We have found ourselves booking shows with bands we want to see just so we can watch them play. For that reason Squintfest rules.
We love Rabb's and Ruston is always good to us. And not in a gay way.Well except for Tote of course, but that is pretty common by now. Hey Tote, next time caress the buttocks. Don't grab them. Uh-oh LOOK OUT BEHIND YOU!

The Blue Monkey loves us!
Current mood: Why do you want to know?

Saturday started the same as any other, breakfast, shower, blood transfusion. After a nap and some Tokyo, takeout we were on our way to Funroe. The Blue Monkey has always been a favorite spot of ours, but this trip would be special. We would be sharing the stage with none other than Space Cadet. Can you be grounded from performing with another band? I need to look into that. The last time we played Shreveport with them, we were hugging good bye at 7:30 in tne morning if front of the strip club we had just been thrown out of. See what I mean? This night would be no different. The crowd was prime and our fans came in droves to witness the rock (and buy us shots). After the show (Space Cadet kicked that ass by the way), we headed to Calhoun for corndogs and Twister. No joke here, that really happened. Two things to know about Danny, do not let him drive, and don't play him in twister. He is tall, thin, and handsy. Bad combo. The question I pose to you is," how comfy can a 5'7 white male be sleeping on a love seat that is 3' wide?". Did I mention the cats? My only regret is that the McKithern and Scott T. were not in attendence. The look on Amy's face would have been priceless. What's that? Subway for breakfast? Don't mind if I do.
