Hello all you fine lovers of fantastic cinema! The economy is sticking it hard to the good ol' BP. We have been getting worked over like a cheerleader on Prom night, and it ain't pretty. The Orphanage Release date: 2008-04-22
Hey there all you fine foxy ladies and jive ass suckers! In case you did not know, GIMME SKELTER will be released NATIONWIDE on DVD this August 26th. Been quite some time since I have visted my blog. Figured now would be as good a time as any to fill all two of you that read this damn thing in on what I have been up to.
Went out to sunny Malibu a couple of weeks ago to do stunts in Crank 2. "The hell you say!" I can hear you gasp, "I thought he died in the first one!" Well, he didn't. Trust me.
I stayed at the spacious Burning Paradise Entertainment West Coast office. This, of course, is also known as Don Adams' apartment. I would film all day and then party it up all night with that drunken disco machine Don Adams until I collapsed in a drunken heap, ready to do it all over again the very next day.
Some highlights from my trip include:
1. Watching Johnny Rotten scream "Did I tell you to invade my space?" at some poor autograph seeker at the Cat & Fiddle. I had no idea Johnny Rotten loved Myspace so much.
2. Spending the entire Crank 2 shoot filming at a $35 Million Dollar mansion while surrounded by topless models. Sometimes life is pretty sweet.
3. Walking to my rental car early one morning and passing a homeless guy violently jacking off at a bus-stop near Hollywood High. A lone tear tracked down my cheek. This IS the city of big dreams!
4. Getting Halo 8 President Matt Pizzolo to buy me drinks even though he is straight edge. Watching Don Adams develop an instant crush on his fiance.
5. Hanging out and working with some of the best damn stunt folks in the business.
6. Sitting in some guy's apartment / office while Don Adams purchased over $2,000 worth of gay porn ( a long story).
In all, it was a pretty freaking sweet way to spend a week at work. Tonight it's Troll 2 at the Guild, so I expect to see everyone there.
