HOME SWEET HOME

Hello.
Just wanted to drop a quick note to say a HUGE Thank You to everybody who came out to the Ten out of Tenn shows! Also a massive Thank you to all the 9 talented and hilarious artists that were a part of this as well. Thanks for having me around and for letting me say crass jokes and letting me play and sing on your songs. I had a blast.
It has been amazingly fun. 16 shows in 15 days!!!

It was so great to be out on the road again and playing LIVE, I've missed it and I can't wait to do more of it.

I will try and track down some photos to post (I know for a fact that Tyler James got some good snaps). I took a my little Flip video thing so I will try and sort through some of that and share it with you all.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm absolutely exhausted and could probably sleep for a few days straight!

Hello hello hello.
Although I still couldn't tell you when my album will be coming out. I am VERY EXCITED to tell you about another album I have been working on for the past year.
The album (boulevardier) is by the talented Mr Dawson Wells. He and I co-produced it together, co-wrote a lot of the songs. And I played a TON off stuff on it. so ... in a way, it's the closest thing you'll get to having one of my own albums ... but not ... but kinda. I have poured myself into this album, as has Dawson.

What is more exciting than the fact that it is finished is that you can preview and download it right here this very second with this little widget!

Tonight’s Show Yo!

Yes that's right, Tonight is the night for my show at 12th & Porter.


I'm veeeeeeeeeeery excited to be playing.


There are two other great bands playing tonight as well.



The evening will start of with some "Rock" provided by The Good Wolves.

Followed up with some "indie/Electro/Rock" supplied by the Disappointed By Candy guys.



Then there's me ... good 'ol "Pop/Rock" ... actually no, I mean "Rock/Pop", BIG difference!

It's going to be great.


The wolves go on at 9pm.


Tickets are $8.

FREE show TONIGHT

Hello everyone.
I'm playing a show tonight (in Nashville)
The line up is GREEEEEEAT and it's absolutely FREE FREE FREE!
Every artist will be playing three songs each.
I am actually going to be playing Bass for Dawson Wells' set as well as David Mead's set! Crazy I know! So in actual fact I will be gracing the stage for 9 Songs! Stage hog.
It's gonna be tons of fun. Please come on down, grab a drink and listen to some Smooth/Rockin'/Poppin' tunes.

Where? The Mercy Lounge (off 8th avenue).
When? Tonight (monday may 12th) Starts around 8:30pm.
Why? Because it's free!

Oops day song and Live video Treat!

Hello All,
'tis Friday and I have edited up a video for you watch and added a new song to the player. I believe the saying goes ... "Two treats are better than one".

The VIDEO, which you can find on my profile page (via my YouTube account) is one of the new songs off Scary Fragile and it's called I Found Out.

The song I added to my player is also off Scary Fragile, and that one is called Just One Tear.

Showcase gig this Friday April 4th

For those of you in Nashville (and any surrounding cities ) who feel like a small dose of butterfly boucher-ness.
I want to let you know about a singer/songwriter showcase I’m a part of this coming friday as part of Nashville’s week long Tin Pan South festival.
The showcase is being presented by the Next Big Nashville peeps. They have asked me as well as 3 other local singer/song writing gals (Kate York, Erin McCarley and Megan McCormick) to perform a few of our songs (a few each) in the ’round kinda thing, at 12th and Porter this friday, 4th of April. Show Starts at 7pm, tickets are $10 (right now the flier says $7, but that’s wrong! sorry!)
Should be a fun night out.

***The Bragging Part***
I got an honorable mention in this weeks local Rage magazine as 1 of 6 songwriters they have chosen to highlight as part of the festival which is incredibly lovely of them and has got me saying things like... "Hey, have you seen me in the paper this week? yeah that’s me, yeah I’m like totally hot right now".
I’ll scan in what I can of the article so you can see it for yourself ... just incase you think I’m lying and am making this stuff up!!

2 Friday treats!! March 21st
Current mood: silly

Okay so today I have two friday treats for you.

one is an an INTERVIEW (don’t be alarmed if Myspace takes you to a warning page, I’m not sure why it’s doing that. Just click on "Follow External Link", it’s fine).
And the other a VIDEO.


I just finished tracking and doing my Co-Producing duties for the new Dawson Wells album (which is sounding hot hot hot!).
Which means I have a bit more time on my hands. One of the things on my To Do List is to make a couple of videos for those guitar players out there who want to know how I play my songs, (tunings, capo positions, which faces to pull when etc etc). I know I’ve promised these before, but now that I have a bit more time I will try and cough up the goods for ya.

Hope you are all happy and Healthy.
I’m feeling hopeful about this year.
I really hope to have some kind of good news for you about my new album soon.
