Lots going on this week but I've only got a second to post this up. This is the trailer for a film that Heather Graham did last year. I'm not really sure on the release but I do know that when it does come out there will be a song of mine called 'Everything I Wanted' on the closing credits, written especially for the film and using the delicious score themes of the very talented Mr. Christian Henson. Yay!
Every now and then I write songs that are used by other artists and bands across the globe. It's not that often that one of those artists has a gig in my neck of the woods so when they do I get very excited!
I had the pleasure of watching Kissing Freddie the other week when they played Cafe de Paris. Kissing Freddie are a group made up of three very talented ladies; Gemma Sampson, Marina Berry and Kathrine James, who are as friendly as they are gorgeous and should go very far. The band have been masterminded by the incredibly gifted and very hard-working Ben Adams who I've been writing with from time to time these last few months.
The video below is of Kissing Freddie performing, 'Knowing When to Run.'...
A big thank you to everyone involved. Below is a list of them lovelies!

Hello!
I wanted to take this opportunity to shine a bit of a spotlight on a very talented and innovative artist called Keaton Henson. Keaton has designed the album cover for One More Nail and has done an incredible job. Not only has he captured the emotion and feel of the music but also the process of creating it. To peruse more of his jolly good work please visit his website here: www.keatonhenson.com
The final mastering of the album took place last week at Abbey Road. I was so excited to be in there I could have burst! It's rare to come in with reel to reel these days I guess but once a couple of Dolby noise reduction units were russled up from the music room we were ready to go. The recording sounded amazing already which is a testament to Nick and Christian but the mastering just made it shine. I've never heard my music sound this way. I am very proud of this album.
But it's all been very strenuous work and as a result I have decided to take some time out and visit my brother in Denver, Colorado, although I'm not sure just how relaxing it is to go skiing I have been assured that I will have time for shopping as well!
More good stuff in the pipeline but I can't tell you as I have been sworn to secrecy by my publisher. Soon...
Here is another song from my forthcoming album 'One More Nail'. I wrote this song when I was 18. The album version has a full orchestra -- and no guitar! I hope you enjoy it. Happy new Year!!
This is a video of me singing the title track from my forthcoming album 'One More Nail' which will be available in the new year. Scaffolding outside my house seemed like a good place to sit and sing. :)
I went to Air Lindhurst for a couple of days to record for the album. It's an amazing studio. The London Philharmonic were recording in the studio next door. I felt so small!
We put down lots of instruments and did a couple of vocals too. The song in the background of this video is called 'Incomplete' and will be on the finished album. Please forgive the rough guide vocal that's on there right now. :)
I had so much fun recording here. I think the album is going to be done by mid-December - touch wood - and I am equally excited and terrified!
