when i was a child i became obsessed with hood ornaments because i liked shiny things.

i liked cars because they had hood ornaments.

i would express my joy of reading playboy magazine by pretending to be one of the models. when i was a child

i say this only to remind you of how unique and wonderful I am.
you may wonder why I would demonstrate such a blunt lack of modesty.

i'm trying to remember my first obsession
i hope you can appreciate the candid way of my writing

I guess it was star wars action figures
but honestly I did become more original

once my sister and I scoured the entire house for pennies
we even ripped the seats out our fathers long since broken down volkswagen
because we saw an ad for custom address labels
when we had enough change we sent away for them
