I’M CHRIS RICE, AND I APPROVE THIS MESSAGE!
Greetings fellow Americans! (and everybody else too, but this message probably only applies to the U.S. right now during an election year). I don't intend to leave anyone out of the discussion, it's just that I have what I feel is an urgent message for the current political environment here in my homeland. And yes, I'm kinda using the blog as a 'commercial' but I think it's a way to involve more people in communicating an important message.
We Americans have forgotten that we're actually 'same team' here. Of course we have a wide range of differing opinions, but we can't let that divide us and paralyze us from the important work our country needs. Elections are one of the processes in this important work, but the sometimes nasty conflicts that election times bring need to be TEMPERED by a higher principle of intelligent, peaceful disagreements.
So, here's one way to encourage that civilized kind of discussion, with as few words as possible, and in a grassroots, personal-realm-of-influence kind of way (and EVERY ONE OF US has a personal realm of influence!) This might be a tool to help you give a message of PEACE to people around you in this sometimes not-so-peaceful time! Maybe overly simple, maybe too idealistic? And maybe the start of a sweeping movement toward a healthier nation who gets along better!

Billboard Review on Lemonade
Huge thanks to Billboard for their enthusiastic review of 'Lemonade!' I'm so pumped to see 'Lemonade' already climbing the pop AC chart (even faster than 'When Did You Fall'), and to see such great reception for the song. And although I'm listed as the producer, I've got to give Monroe Jones the producer props he deserves! I'm having a blast visiting AC stations around the country, and hearing all the compliments about how well 'When Did You Fall' did for their stations, and their eagerness to play 'Lemonade' for my newfound audience at AC. The glass is indeed 'tipping in our favor!' Thanks!

CHRIS RICE BREAKS INTO AC TOP 10 WITH WHEN DID YOU FALL (IN LOVE WITH ME)
NASHVILLE, TN...June 9, 2006...Continuing to break ground with his first AC radio single, singer/songwriter Chris Rice (eb+flo/INO/Columbia Records) joins the company of artists such as Daniel Powter, James Blunt, Keith Urban and Kelly Clarkson with his song When Did You Fall (In Love With Me). Rices single landed at No. 10 on the R&R AC chart this week in between the dynamic duo of Faith Hill and Tim McGraw and multi-Platinum artist LeAnn Rimes.
When Did You Fall has remained on the AC chart for 16 weeks and continues to increase its spins daily. Most recently the song was added into rotation on the national syndicated radio programs (The Delilah, John Tesh Radio, and Jim Brickman shows).
