Caitlin's 1st Hockey Game! :D

Yesterday, Zach and I took Caitlin to her first hockey game...the Chicago Wolves. Now I am a hard core Blackhawks fan, but the Wolves games are more for children and it's cheaper! LOL!

So she was real excited! She met SKATES the mascot. They were handing out freebies, so she got it signed by him!

We starting eating our lunches and she was anticipating what was going to happen!I kept watching her facial expressions because she was experiencing this for the first time. It's a great feeling! :D And Zach and I are huge hockey fans, so of course we want Caitlin to get into it as well!

After the first puck was dropped, and after the first period she got bored out of her mind. LOL! She basically danced most of the time when music was played and flirted with boy scouts behind her! LOL!

Around the 3rd period she was a little more interested and was excited when the WOLVES won 2-1. It was a good game. Even though she was half into it, she had a good time and so did WE! :D

Moving on UP!!!!!!

Going to AZ was the land of opportunities for us and it opened many doors......we were hesitant to go at first, but it ended up being the smartest thing we have done!

Being in debt from the beginning, living in a slumlord neighborhood, going bankrupt and having crappy cars was the story of our life! Zach made good money but it went to nothing..it was wasted!

AZ presented itself to us and we took it! We needed to break free from Illinois for a while...we got out of our lease and out of that slum lord neighborhood.....We rented a luxury apartment, and bought a car no problem...Zach's credit finally went up!

We lived awesome in AZ....it was so much fun while it lasted but we knew it had to come to an end!.......Coming back to IL with nothing but a car and no house was hard! Living with my dad was the pits!

The day we were approved for a house, we knew that there was a reason for going to AZ other than to work and make money! :P The B's had arrived!!!! LOL!

We are proud owners of a 11 year old house in Poplar Grove. We feel comfortable here. I LOVE my house and I am so psyched. OUR dream has come true! :D

I was real secretive on here about the house thing because I didn't want my dream to shatter. Now that we are in OUR house, I am proud to tell you all! Thanks for reading this blog!

Back in IL!

Well I am back in IL. :D It was a long 9 day journey, but it was a great one! :)

I don't remember the exact days we did what right now..my mind is elsewhere. LOL! We started out on the 12th or 13th..and headed to southern, California. We stayed at his grandparents house until the 16th I believe. We went to Adventure Land in Anaheim California with Zach's sister and her fiance. That was nice. :) The rest of the days there we just visited with one another.

We left on the 16th and headed to Las Vegas. That was fun. We got there late..around 8pm. So we didn't have much time to do anything there. We stayed at Treasure Island hotel on the 16th floor. It was nice. We did a little gambling, I bought some souvenirs, took some pictures and we were back on the road on the 17th.

This time we were heading to the Hoover Dam. I didn't know too much about this place and still don't. I need to read up about it. LOL! I learned that the Hoover Dam is in Nevada and Arizona. Pretty interesting. :) We took some pictures there as well. We stayed in Kingman, AZ that night.

On the 18th we left Kingman, AZ and headed to the Grand Canyon. Now that place is gorgeous. I was in AWE the whole time being there. It was cold..around 34 degrees and it even started snow as we were leaving. But it was beautiful there. I took some awesome pictures there. :D That night we stayed in Flagstaff, AZ. :P

After leaving Flagstaff, we drove through Texas and headed into Tucumcari, New Mexico. I saw snow on the mountains there..that was cool. I took some more cool pictures and that was where we ended on the 19th.

On the 20th, we left Tucumcari, NM and headed into Oklahoma. Thank goodness we left when we did because fires started soon after we left. :( We stayed in Oklahoma City, OK that night. This was the night Caitlin puked all over the lobby floor. It was horrible! :P We contemplated staying another day but decided to hit the road the next morning.

We left Oklahoma City on the 21st of Dec. and wanted to make good time today. We made it to Springfield, Missouri. Caitlin hadn't puked at all so it was a good day. LOL!

On the 22nd we left early from Springfield, MO and finally made it to our destination at 10pm in Arlington Heights, IL. :D It is good to be back.

We probably would of made it home sooner, but we took our time. :) We shopped a lot, slept in at hotels and that was nice. I hope you liked my summary of my trip back HOME. Sorry there are no pictures. Right now, I am currently using dial up and it SUCKS!

I am heading back home guys...to ILLINOIS that is. I LOVED being in Arizona, but it's not home. HOME is where my dad is..and I felt weird not seeing him. But I will in a week or so and I can't wait! :D I also missed my cat Storm so much! LOL! ;)

We are leaving AZ tomorrow and heading for southern California to see Zach's family, my in-laws. We then will leave them Friday...and that's starts our journey. :)

We will drive through Vegas, possibly stay there the night. Then it's off to the Grand Canyon in AZ...then New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri and lastly ILLINOIS! :D

I am so looking forward to the road trip part of this journey. Driving through states that you haven't been through before is AWESOME! So I am really excited and to just know I am heading to IL makes me even more excited. ;)

Anyway, I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! :D I will talk to you when I get situated in my new place which will be sometime in January. Take care. :)

Time to say good-bye! :)

My time in Arizona is nearing...2 days actually! I am packing and cleaning. My hubby still has to work tomorrow..so I am kind of doing everything here myself which sucks! :P I will manage I guess!

This blog is to kind of document my 3 1/2 month stay in Arizona...so here we go by month! Enjoy! :)

*August 26th, 2005: This is our first day in AZ and our apartment. It was exciting to be somewhere new. Our apartment was lovely, the views were beautiful, but the people SUCKED! LOL!

This is in Scottsdale AZ! :)

Sept. 2, 2005: We went to the Wild Life World Zoo! It was HOT that day. We were in direct sun for 2 hours and I felt a heat stroke coming on! LOL! We had fun though. We fed a giraffe, and petted billy goats. They had a lot of cool animals up close to see...very cool! :)

Sept. 15th: Zach's sister, and Grandparents came to visit us from southern California. That was real nice. :) We went out to dinner at Black Angus..which is a steak house. It was awesome!!...They left a day later.

Sept. 18th, 2005:Us 3 decided to drive to downtown Phoenix to see what it was like. Let's put it this way, it's no Chicago! :P

Oct. 9th, 2005:We went to Heritage Park Zoo in Prescott, AZ. This city was gorgeous! Breathtaking. We saw the animals...then walked down to Heritage Park Lake. We climbed some rock mountains. That was nerve wrecking and scary, but fun! :) It was a nice day!

Halloween 2005: Caitlin and I carved a pumpkin together...and she dressed up as a fairy! My baby looked so beautiful!!! She had lots of fun trick-or-treating as well. :)

Nov.11th:On this day we celebrated Zach's 32nd birthday and Caitlin's 3rd birthday. We went to a place called Peter Piper Pizza which is just like Chuckee Cheese for lunch. For dinner we went to Applebee's. Later on we came home and they opened their presents and blew out the candles on their ice cream cake. :) A good day! :D

Nov. 18th-24th:Sarah came to visit and you all know about that. :) Here's a picture anyway. :P

Dec. 9th, 2005:Caitlin saw Santa! This time around she was a little scared, but she quickly warmed up to St. Nick! :)

Above is all the major things we did here in AZ...all the little things you probably won't care about. Such as: we shopped A LOT, went to new restaurants, potty trained Caitlin, went swimming, went to a swap meet, bought a CAR, and took Caitlin for her prof. pictures. :)

Everything that's good, comes to an end.....

My stay in Arizona is coming to an end....I will do a journal type entry when I know for sure when I am leaving. Those are fun now that I know how to add pictures to blogs. LOL! :)

Anyway...I am leaving AZ in about 10 days. We are heading to southern California to visit my in-laws for a couple of days. Then we start our journey back to cold Illinois...

We might make a pit stop in Texas to see my Uncle and Aunt...but that won't be totally out of the way! :P

This time we are taking a different route going back but I don't know if it's a good choice or not. I could of sworn Zach took this route when he moved from California to IL...and all I know is that it snowed in every fucking state he went through! LOL!

Pray for us please! :) More updates soon! :)

Sarah's Trip to AZ

It has been a while since I last blogged, but here is a new one for all to read! :) Enjoy!

DAY 1, Nov. 18th: We picked her up at the PHX Airport to only get lost once! LOL! We got her and wanted to head to the PHX Zoo and then got really LOST! It took us two hours to find the zoo and when we got to the zoo, we only had an hour to look at the animals. LOL!

This is at the zoo right by the black bears.....continuing on with DAY 1. We left the zoo at 4:30, and decided to head back to where I live. We ate dinner at MACAVO's and never again. It was horrible Mexican Food! YUCK!

DAY 2 and 3:We stayed home these two days because we didn't have a car. Zach was working and we basically lounged around. LOL! On DAY 2, Nov. 19th  we took Caitlin swimming, well Sarah did. LOL!

Sarah was a little nervous to take Caitlin because let's face it, Caitlin doesn't listen very well. LOL! But everything went fine. :) Here Caitlin is splashing the shit out of Sarah! LMAO!

DAY3. Nov. 20th: We just lounged around. WE ordered pizza and watched a lot of movies and TV shows! :)

DAY 4, Nov. 21st: On this day we decided to go SHOPPING! We went to the mall in PHX called Desert Sky Mall. The name is fancy, but it's really ghetto looking. LOL! So, we stopped in at Bath and Body Works, Burlington Coat Factory and KB Toys. It was nice to just get out! :) Had lunch at TACO HELL!.....Later on that night we went to buy me a coat and had dinner at Applebee's. I had an Amaretto stoned sour. Boy it was good and I downed it in 5 minutes! LOL!

Isn't she pretty guys? LOL! I look like a ghost compared to her darker skin color. LOL!  :P

DAY 5, Nov. 22nd:Well we were out of a car again today! :( But she laid out at the pool by herself as Caitlin and I napped. LOL! When she came back I cooked dinner and we basically played Barbie's/Polly Pockets with Caitlin. :)

Caitlin just adores Sarah. The whole time she would tell her that they were best friends, that she loved her..it was ADORABLE! :)

DAY 6, Nov. 23rd:Today we had a car but Caitlin came down with a 101.3 temp. Sarah stayed home with Caitlin so I could run to the store. That was a nice getaway for me even if it was only for 40 minutes. :) We put Caitlin down for a nap and watched "Friday After Next" and 13 Going On 30." That was relaxing and I think both of us fell asleep too! LOL!...Zach came home a little early that night, so Sarah and I decided to go get decaf coffee at IHOP. We were there from 10:30-1am. It was nice! We got to gossip about everything and I needed that "girl point of view." So it was nice! :)Yeah I looked stoned don't I? LOL!

DAY 7, Nov. 24th: She left early. :( Zach left to take her at 6:30 am. She got to Illinois safely. :)

~I am so happy that she came. Right before she came I was feeling rather sad. I think I am missing home so much. She is a part of my home since I have known her for over 10 years. So she was a familiar face that I needed to see. :) I just wish I could have taken her to more places while she was here, but really, there isn't any! LOL! I think she needed more of a relaxing vacation since she's a busy bee and I think she got that. :)

EXERCISE HURTS!!!
Current mood: sore

I started a new exersice program of cardio and strength. Yesterday I did strength and now I can barely walk! This sucks!!! LOL!

I did LUNGES and apparently my body wasn't ready for them. I am giving my body 2 days rest and then it's back to exercising again.

I know it takes a while for your body to be used to the exercises that you are doing, but damn, this doesn't feel good. :(

I know in the long run this will work out and it will make me healthier...I knew exercising and dieting would take work and I am prepared for it!

But I HURT!!! LMAO! :(

I am sneaking on by......

Hey friends and who ever reads this! :) I have been down lately. It's not that I am lonely, I am just not feeling good. I think I caught a head cold or I have sinus pressure or something. I have had a headache now for like 4 days or so...and it's not a headache, it's just this on going pain in my head when I move. GRR! It's annoying. I have had it before too! Anyway...I will be okay. :)

I tweeked my wrist somehow. So I have my wrist bandaged up hoping that helps it heal. Zach says if it's not better by Friday, he's taking to a clinic to get xrays of it. :( I am sure they will put it in a splint or something.

The only good news is that I have lost 8 pounds in 2 weeks. I am doing something right I suppose. With the way I am feeling, I still manage to eat pretty good, drink water and exercise. :) So for that, I am proud.

I am just waiting for Friday to come...since it's Zach's only day off. I think we are going to Arizona Mills to do some shopping. ;) I LOVE shopping. And Friday is my treat day for dieting too! LOL! And, the new SIMS 2 for Playstation 2 should be arriving in the mail soon. ;) YAY!
