Which Jane Austen character are you?

And my day is made. :-)

Jane Austen quiz results

You are Eliza Bennett from Pride and Prejudice! Yay, you! Perhaps the brightest and best character in all of English literature, you are intelligent, lively, lovely-- in short, you are the best of company. Your only foibles are that you stick with your first impressions... and your family is quite intolerable.

Rainbow Reviews gave "Haunted Hearths" 5 stars!
Current mood: jubilant

Among other lovely things, the reviewer said Hearths is "A fascinating anthology of literate, lyrical, Lesbian ghosts interacting with Lesbian protagonists and an occasional homophobic shade too."
Catherine does happy dance of reviewer awesomeness.

Sexy Spring!

Sexy Spring Thing...
So it occurs to me that I should plug next weekend's big event while there's still time for interested folk to register.

Sexy Spring V, June 13th - 15th, Blevins Hall, U. of M (http://sexyspring.org/practical-info/sexy-spring-v-schedule/) is, to quote the website, "a radical, sex/body positive sexual education skill-share and conference focused on exploring the ways sex, sexuality, gender, relationships, communication, health, our bodies and our choices affect our lives through workshops, art, discussions, performance, play, demonstrations, storytelling, networking, etc."
And how cool is that? There are workshops of sex and disability, making your own sex toys, parenting and pre-parenting, fire play and, ahem, writing erotica.

I'll be teaching an erotica writing workshop on Sunday from 11 to 12:30. Based on how my ability to plan things has been going this last week or two, it will have a delightful spontaneous quality to it. Or so I hope.

And on Saturday night, it's the Fairy Tails Cabaret at Intermedia Arts (2822 Lyndale Ave.):

8:00pm (doors at 7:00)
$10 Suggested donation, no one turned away for lack of funds
Advance tickets will ONLY be available at Sexy Spring

Once upon a time there were some sexy, open-minded people looking for some fun after a hard day of learning about each other, sexuality, gender, and sex…Let legendary MCs Crystal & Patricia guide you through a magical evening of fairy tales told in words, music, dance, drag, film, trapeze, and burlesque.

Performers include
Heidi Arneson
Venus DeMars
Brooke Aberlin
Justin Leaf
Kats Fukasawa
Sweet LillyBee
Catherine Lundoff
Sexualis
Dr. Jacky Wackensmack and Dollface
And more!

Arrive early, the show is certain to sell out!
