I am in this month's issue of SOLE Collector on page 20. Not a feature or anything, but I'm just so siked to be in my first worldwide magazine (2nd time being in a mag, I should add). If you guys want to see this orginal picture, you can find it on my page on the left side... just scroll down.

SOLE Collector is a well-known magazine among the sneaker heads and it is also distributed throughout Europe, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.

This month's feature is actually Carmelo Anthony, promoting his kicks that he's got out right now.

IFEST Weekend & a 6-hr. Photoshoot

Hey everyone!!

See?? I'm updating more. I'm making progress so I shouldn't hear any more complaints... and you guys should comment more, make me feel like I didn't waste my time posting all these pictures... lol j/k j/k Anywho, so IFEST was this weekend followed by a 6hr. photoshoot that I had no idea was going to take so long. BLAAAAHHHHHH~

Nothing very new with me, been studying like a mofo because I have midterms coming up. Another BLLLLAAAAHHHHHHH~*

So, Saturday was the IFESt and I'd liek to thank everyone who came by the Taiwan booth and let me abuse them with the Taiwan stamp. Ya gotta help me represent, right?? haha And on Sunday, I had a photoshoot with the awesome Neal Banerjee (photog) and Crystal Clark (a kickass MUA). Pictures will be up as soon as I get them. You'll know when I get them so don't rush me. Ihave no control over that.

I'm sooo excited!! I've been waiting to be on this website and we actually started the feature a year ago... but didn't finish it until now. I'm such a horrible model, I don't ever keep up with things. It's like... they come and go. BLAH!! But not anymore~ I've gotten my priorities straight now so we should all be good. =]

Ok, so that came out fresh today... Sept. 23, 2006. I also shot a music video with The Barnettes this morning and on top of that, I still have my cold. And I guess as the day progressed, my sickness got worse so now I have a fever. >.<"!! AND THEN, I'm home all alone. This is not fun at all... I came home from my apartment this weekend because my parents wanted me to be home. And now that I AM home, they're no where to be seen and my lil bro is at work.

I feel so lonely.... *sniffle*

August is off to a busy start!

Hello everyone!

Ok so... I've been so busy with everything I haven't even gotten the chance to take a breather! I've been going to sleep pretty late every night as well... Around 5~6-ish each night so the acne is becoming a MESS.

What am I busy with?

Well, I just moved into my apartment which I'm really excited about. It's much bigger than I had expected once I started loading some stuff in there. I will be heading off to Atlanta tomorrow to go shop for some home furnishings. ^^* I'm excited.

Other than that, modeling has become such a major part of my life now! I've been having 2~3 photoshoots a week and they last for up to 5~6 hours! It's ok though because I've been having a lot of fun with these photographers and models. I'm just waiting for some CD's to get in the mail.

Now on to a much depressing note... so everyone who knows about me and my boyfriend know that at the start of our relationship, we took up 2 dwarf hamsters as pets and I've been raising them since. Well, last night at around 12:30 Honey Bunch passed away of old age. It was really sad. I had just gotten back from a photoshoot and decided to say "hi" to my hamsters before going to bed (like I do every night) until I noticed that one wasn't moving when I gave them treats which they LOVE.... Honey Bunch was still breathing but not moving at all, his body was sunken in, and his stomach was wet. I tried to make him drink water, but he couldn't open his mouth... and the saddest thing was watching him take his last breath. Then my friend, who is a vet intern, told me he died after that last breath... I am such an emotional person and just started crying. He looked like he was in so much pain.

R.I.P Honey Bunch

Well, onto a happier note... I will be flying in to Atlanta next Tuesday for a photoshoot in hopes of landing an advertising deal with a major clothing company (that I'm sure all of you know, but i have to keep the name a secret for now). Here's how my busy schedule is like with my phtoographer, make-up artist, hair stylist, and wardrobe stylist:

-- Leaving BRIGHT and EARLY for the airport

-- Outdoors photoshoot in the morning before it becomes hot at noon.

-- Lunch break!

-- Photoshoot in The Glenn Hotel in Downtown Atlanta. http://www.glennhotel.com/gallery/

-- Dinner~

-- Shoot some more at a private location.

-- Then crashing at my suite in The Glenn Hotel. All of my friends in Atlanta, welcome. As my photographer has made the suite available for me to let friends have a sleep over. Check out the website... it's a pretty sweet place. ^.~

So yea.. there a go. Aside from all the glitz and glamour, I'm still the ordinary aitress at Koi Sushi Bar & Restaurant... *sigh*

Weekend Getaway: Hilton Head Island ... and then I got braces. YIKES!

Some updates:

This weekend was AWESOME! I got to spend some quality time with my friends and boyfriend at Hilton Head Island. The beach was spectacular and I got a darkass tan.... LOL~

My hair isn't black anymore either... It's brown with blonde highlights.

Today, I went to the orthodontist just to ge a consultation on Invisalign (cuz I need it for my modeling) but instead went ahead with the cosmetic braces. It was spontaneous so I wasn't scared to get all that done. Now, my gums are hurting like a mofo.... but I don't regret it!!! I'm freakin 19 and I've been wanting to get them done since 6 years ago. Finally, my parents are letting me do it.... stupid punks. They had a crazy stupid reason for not letting me do it..... gosh.

Photoshoot Opportunity with Me!!

Hey Friends of mine!

A photographer I know is putting together a day of pictures in Charlotte. This will be a shoot with 4-6 people on a set hanging out and having a cookout, chill, small party outside, etc at a park. My photographer shoots all aspects of this from portraits to "narritive" scenes such as dancing/playing, etc.

The date for these is May 2 or 3. He will be in touch with me in a couple of weeks with wardrobe and details.

The only drawback: You will need to sign a standard industry model release. It's ok people!! I have to do this at all my shoots. But the reason why he HAS to do this is because the photos he will take is being submited to a magazine company for promotional purposes to be used in the magazine.

Lunch is provided and it should be fun. Of course right?? You'll be with me! -_-;;

Anyways...

The photographer is very artistic and I am in the process of talking to him, making sure it's a "safe project". His MM profile: MGray. I'm very interested in doing this shoot and I don't know any of my friends who are into this kind of stuff so whoever wants to do it, message me!! And I'll see if I can fit you in.

It's so much harder than I thought!

Finding the right melody for your lyrics to flow to an instrumental that is!

Holy jeebus! So.. I want to be a mainstream R&B artst in Taiwan you know. (R&B? Yea, that's what I said.)

So I've been writing and writing but I can never finish a song. I always start new lyrics for the same instrumental! It's partly due to my random sparks of creative energy to write a song. You know? When you "feel it's there".

*sigh*... So for now, I've been studying music from all those oldies. I love it!

Just some things I'd like to say... SO LISTEN UP!

So the reason why I signed up for a myspace was for my import modeling purposes only... And that's why I "approved" anyone who wanted to be added as a friend. Thanks for all the support, you guys!

But sadly, I have officially put a hiatus on my import modeling career. I say "hiatus" because I might go back to it... We'll see.

My break is also a reason why I've changed my page a bit. No more sexy pictures... well, maybe just one because my favorite girl Mai commented on it. hahaha But other than that, I just want to be a normal girl.... I want to be treated just like any other lady. I'm not a very serious person unless I have to be. I like to be fun and that is probably why I will always have a childish side to my personality. And sometimes, I think people mistake me as acting "fobby" because CUTENESS IS JUST MY THING!!! I was born with it... and it's my uniqueness so... go get a life. J/k But I'm not a fob. New York native, but raised in North Carolina... GET IT RIGHT, FOLKS!

Umm... I never really cared much for myspace therefore I don't spend a lot of time on it. I definitely like to meet new people but not on-line. Even though I have met some really cool friends over myspace that I actually chill with (i.e.- my breakdancing buddy, Adam aka Origin... SWOON UNIT! You're awesome and Colt from the band In-V... I love punk rockers- they're the most unique). I'm sick of people who think you can only make friends via myspace. Get a life... please? I'll buy you one. All those pervy messages I get in my inbox end up being deleted. I'm just not interested. If you respected a "friend", you would know how to approach them. Am I being too blunt? Maybe you're just stupid. ^^*

It certainly doesn't hurt to get to know me... friendships can be made on-line... but the lasting ones are always made in person. It's just amazing how many guys in this world only see what is skin deep. And when I was a model, it was that kind of stuff that I had to portray in order to have popularity.... and I hated it. The devil is only skin deep as well... and so I quote from Tristan. You're lovely.

Umm... that's about it? Just an emo moment I had, but don't we all sometimes.
