Candice & Jason
My friend Kirk and I photographed Candice and Jason's wedding today. They were the first couple to book me this summer -- even though I had zero experience. We couldn't have asked for better weather or a better bride and groom. A special thanks to Kirk who took some phenominal shots.

Rachelle & Sean - Fantastic Day!
I just photographed one of the most beautiful weddings you've ever seen. A radiant bride and handsome groom along with help from the fantastic Tara (maid of honour, who also works as a wedding photographer's assistant) made the day super terrific. As usual, second photographer Eunice Montenegro took some amazing portraits of the couple along the cliffs in Parksville.
Congratulations Sean & Rachelle!

Cat in the Studio!

I was working in my studio when my cat wandered in. I decided to give him a party hat (in Photoshop) just for fun.

Natasha & Steve
August 12, 2006
My good friends Natasha and Steve were married today and I was able to do their wedding photography.
They chose orange because it's the color of the Netherlands, where both their families are originally from.
Natasha and Steve actually met in my living room -- although I share credit with Tara who brought Steve to the party at my house.
Both of them looked phenominal and radiant. Congratulations Steve & Natasha!

I love Monkeys!
Anyone who knows me knows I'm completely obsessed with monkeys. My favorite place on earth is Costa Rica where this image of a wild capuchin monkey family was taken.
I am happy that "The Monkey Park" in Costa Rica will be using some of my photos for their brochure and website.
This animal rescue centre was opened in 2000 by the Ferrin family to help and protect animals that had being illegally captured by poachers. They also rescue abandoned or abused animals and give them a safe place to live.
You can find out more about The Monkey Park at http://asvocr.org/english/leer.php/20

Concert at La
August 19, 2006
Whoo Hoo! What a night! My friends Clay & Cori, Tim & Kathy had close to 100 people at their cottage on their weekend to watch "The Coolers" (seen here playing right on their front porch!). That's Tim singing.
The whole show was a team effort since Clay owns a sound company (http://www.pacificaudioworks.ca) and brought in extra generators, lights, you name it, to make the show look and sound spectacular -- even in a remote corner of Lake Cowichan!
Thanks guys for such an awesome time!
