This Past Saturday Night...

We (Court Jester) had planned on being the opening act on Saturday night, but the night didn't turn out that way. LMFAO. I don't really want to bitch about anybody else or anything, but let's just get to the punchline... the other bands walked! They showed up and walked! Very rookie!

Either way, the bar, including Bob the sound guy, Becky the awesome bartender and an awesome crowd of locals, including some of Court Jester's favorite fans & friends to hang with, got to see something special!

We played our planned hour set list and took a short break! We then came back on for another hour of music... some of which was well rehearsed to be played in upcoming shows and some of which was pulled from the Court Jester vaults!

We dug out tunes from our first album like "Stand Up" & "Give It Up", we rocked out newer tunes for the first time in a long time like "If the Shoe Fits" and "My Journey Ends". We also rocked covers we haven't touched in a while including an extended version of "N.I.B" with Bob the sound guy rippin' it on guitar and "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" with some killer vocal help from Adam Newcomer from the awesome local band Blackout!

Thanks to all of you who drove your asses all the way out to Aurora to see the circus that is Court Jester! We hope to be back at End Zone Bar & Grill again soon!
