What's Wrong With People?

I used to have faith in the human race. Each day I live makes that faith more difficult to uphold. I've signed lots of petitions to stop the Canadian seal massacre, and I've also voted in several polls against it. Many of those polls show that the majority of people who voted are FOR the seal massacre. What's WRONG with them? I find it difficult to believe that the majority of people who vote in these polls are actually for baby seals being clubbed to death and left drowning in their own blood. Has the human race become so vile and blood thirsty that we cheer the massacre of helpless, defenseless animals? Have we really become that unfeeling? To say I'm disappointed in the human race is an extreme understatement. How can people sleep at night, knowing these kinds of horrendous, barbaric acts are taking place and not attempt to do something to stop them? Get off your butts, people, and fight for the helpless, defenseless animals that suffer in the hands of these murderous barbarians. Join an organization, march for the animals, do whatever you can, but do SOMETHING. The animals desperately need your help......

Vegan Cookbook Author, Sarah Kramer

For all you vegans out there, there's a great vegan cookbook you should pick up. It's called "La Dolce Vegan", written by Sarah Kramer, co-author of "How It All Vegan" and "Garden Of Vegan". The recipes are great, especially the ones that were contributed by "Wolffie"...haha.....just kidding. The truth is, Sarah was kind enough to accept many of my recipes for her book. It was a great honor to see them in print. Thanks, Sarah!

While you're at it, why not pick up "How It All Vegan" and Garden Of Vegan" too? I bet when you buy "La Dolce Vegan" you'll end up buying the other two books. Sarah's easy writing style, great personality, and sense of humor are addictive....

The T-Shirt Biz

I opened Cowpie Creek in May, 2005.  Being a vegan, I wanted to design shirts for people like myself, and Cafe Press gave me the opportunity to do that with very little investment. Nuts About Tees quickly followed, then Wolffie's Tees, and a couple of weeks ago, Vegan No Sweat. 

I've always loved t-shirts. Even before I started designing them, I had a large collection. T-shirts are walking billboards....a place to advertise your beliefs, your moods, and your likes and dislikes....all without saying a word. I've never really seen the point in buying plain t-shirts, although I'm sure there are those people who do.  In my opinion, a  t-shirt without designs, is just another shirt....boring.
