Went to check out YO-MA, band here in Nagoya last night at this live house called Huck-Finn in Imaike. They were doing the advanced sale for their first album which is not supposed to come out til September lol. It was alot of fun. I got to see Pay, Wataru and Shinsuke again, as well as meeting rest of the YO-MA's members for the first time. They were all great people!

I had so much fun at the practice today! I'm actually still pumped that I can't fall asleep! I made few mistakes here and there, but thanx to Kagari, Yusuke, Tecchin and Yasukun, they were able to cover up my mistakes lol.
I didn't expect that having a full band was going to be so enjoyable. I'm looking forward to the next practice. Got 2 more songs added to our repertoire so you bet I'll still be practicing my ass off everyday! Having a drummer sure does make a huge difference especially for a guy like me, who hasn't played in a band before. Although I can't constantly rely on everyone to cover up for me, so that gives me more motivation to get better.
We've also decided on our band name today thanx to Yasu-kun, who is our supporting member for now. I am proud to say that I am now a official member of KINOPIAS. If you are not sure of the pronounciation, just think of pinocchio. I'm looking forward to the day when we get good enough to play in front of people.

Dear James and Stephanie, Your wedding was absolutely beautiful. I am very happy for both of you. The Vows you gave to each other was very heart warming. I had alot of fun during the rehearsal, set up, tea ceremony, door game, dinner, lunch, everything. The reception was just awesome! I honestly forgot how tired I was.
I am so glad that you two found each other. James, you are not just my cousin, but you are more like a brother to me. I had always wanted a brother since I was little, and when you and I met for the first time back in October 1989, you have completely filled that spot in my life. All the memories I have of you and I are still fresh in my head, like they had all happened yesterday. It makes me really happy to see you happy. You have always worked so hard for everything you have done in your life. I am proud to be part of your family. I really don't think that you could find anyone better than Stephanie to be your life partner. I am so proud of you.
Stephanie, you are one of the sweetest person I have met in my life. You have always been there for James, you and our family got along from the day one. Your family have always been nice to us. I really believe that I can't ask for anyone better than you to be my new cousin. You are a wonderful person, and I know that there are going to be aot of wonderful things coming in your way.

I'm sitting here in the office, little bored and can't wait to get off work so I can play with my new guitar that I got yesterday. (pic coming soon! It's so beautiful!). While sitting here I decided to search through the myspace for people who graduated from the Ridgewood, in the same year as me just for the hell of it.....
How come I don't remember majority of the people that are listed??? Did I really go to that school???? I must have cuz I do recognize some people. I must have not been that social back in the days.
What I do remember is going through so many different phases..... I also do remember wearing this huge ass glasses. Let's see what else.... breaking the glass that covers the fire extinguisher, dressing up as a prostitute (and have the whole school see it), hot English teacher calling me a little shit, using Chinese New Years as an excuse to skip school, rear-ending someone's car by the school parking lot, being the first guy to interrupt Mr. Mortner's class from the out side of the classroom, chasing some kid into the bathroom and ripping the garbage can off the wall and throwing the garbage through the top of the bathroom door where the kid locked himself in... with Mr. Holton watching the whole thing..... wow, so many memories! I'm so glad that I'm not in that shool anymore!

I just got back from the event held by FM Aichi, and as one of the guests, melody. was here! I love her voice, and she is much more beautiful in person! I hope I don’t sound like a stalker here.... lol
Unfortunately we were not allowed to take any pictures, eventhough I really really really wanted to! However I did get to buy her new single, and the first 10 or 15 people who bought the cd got to have an autographed poster of her so as you can see on the pic, I got it! Woo hoo!
For those that do not know her, she is a Japanese singer who was born and raised in Hawaii. First time I heard her music was sometime last year with the song "Love Story". It was used as an ending theme for one of the Japanese shows, and as soon as I heard it, I had to know who the singer was. Now she has this song called "Haruka" which I really love to listen to. I’m actually trying to figure out how to play it on the piano right now.
Her interview was pretty cool. She pretty much talked about her life in Japan now, and cooking. I also got to shake her hand!!!!! Woo hoo!!
Finally! I got to play with snow after...... So many years!!!
I'm happy! My mom, Da-Lian, Noodle and Liu went out to celebrate the Chinese New Year and Noodle's birthday, and afterwards, everyone but my mom stayed outside to play with the snow. Here are few pics and a video!

Few days ago Mike came to Japan so we have been hanging out. James' dad is also here from Shanghai, so we pretty much had a little get together amongst everyone. It has been pretty cool.
My uncle got me this digital photo frame for my bday. This thing is so awesome! It has 1GB of internal memory, slots for SD card, plays mp3, and calender! I love this frame!
Speaking of James, he called me while Mike and I were walking around the Nagoya station to wish me happy birthday. I thought that was really awesome.
My dad, my sis, and Noodle gave me money and told me to go buy something that I really want. I have no clue what the hell I want, so I decided to put it in a bank until I find something that I like. Maybe I'll put it toward musical instrument fund. Perhaps a Martin guitar? Maybe even Gibson. Or Kawai piano. Yeah, that would be awesome!
For my birthday, my family took me out to eat sushi. Sushi was really good. I love sushi! My sister is a pig...
On sunday Da-Lian, Mike and I went to karaoke, and recorded ourselves singing. No, I am not putting them up on youtube..... It was so horrible.......

I saw a bulletin from Denise where everyone put up the first and middle names of their children. I've decided that I was gonna join in on this fun.... But first of all, No, I don't have a child of my own besides my pets. Well Goldie and Spikey are more like my buddies rather than my sons. Kylie was probably the only animal that I considered to be like my daughter. And as far as I understand, based on the names everyone put up on it, you are only allowed to put up names for human babies, not animals.....
Then I remembered something. I remember my cousin James once said to me when he ever has a child of his own, he was going to name them "Kit Chen" if it's a girl, and "Bit Chen" if it's a boy. I've decided to take his idea and create some of my own.... Major difference between mine and James' is that mine has middle names unlike the typical Asians.
