That has got to be the biggest rip off I've ever freakin seen in my life!! The damn commercial pisses me off every time I watch it! What a freakin joke!!! Just look at this....

I was over at Christina's blog, and decided to tag myself XD All it is really is a short survey about the past year. I thought it looked fun =)

~ Favorite song of 2008

Dang, this one was really hard. I'm gonna go with "Gunpowder and Lead" by Miranda Lambert. Technically I've been jamming to it since 2007, lol but it wasnt released to radio until 2008 ;-)

Other songs I feel in love with this year has been "Beautiful" by 10 Years, "I Kissed A Girl" by Katy Perry, and "All Summer Long" by Kid Rock. The last two are just catchy as hell lol!!



I also cant leave out "Kristofferson" by Tim McGraw and "Love Story" by Taylor Swift.

~ Favorite movie of 2008

Hands down, I'm gonna have to go with Changeling.



It's one of those kind of movies that will piss you off and make you cry! Angelina Jolie did an amazing job. She really made you feel what her character was feeling.

~ Biggest mistake

Damn, I'm sure I've made plenty. I'm not sure what my biggest mistake has been this year. There has been situations that I wished I'd handled differently, but I guess I wouldnt change anything because if I did, I wouldnt be where I am right now. After all, you can only learn from your mistakes, and hope to grow as a person from them.

I havent been on any vacations, but I guess technically everyday is one for me!

~ There's been a couple of changes made in my life I guess. One has been awesome =) But I'm not sure if I have changed any. I'm working on being more selfish and not caring what others think...I need to start putting myself in front of others from time to time.

OMG!! The entire Twilight series! Soooooooooo freakin awesome!!! I wish there was more, because 4 books just wasnt enough!! My personal fave was Eclipse. The last book, Breaking Dawn, was released this year, but this I actually never even read Twilight until a few months ago :-|

I've discovered something the last couple of weeks.....

I really like doing tag blogs that involve making lists of stuff I like XD

They're like the easiest tags to do and they're hella fun :-D

LOL Anyways.....

I was tagged again (by Duchess of course lol) and this time the subject is to share my top 10 favorite Christmas movies!

At first I didnt even know if I could come up with 10 movies that involve Christmas...but I did and here they are!!! lol

First off I gotta do an honorable mention...

This movie didnt make my list, but Christmas just wouldnt be the same without TNT airing a 24 hour marathon of A Christmas Story.



10. Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer



Getting to watch Rudolph was the highlight of Christmas when I was little lol (besides presents ;-)

9. Mickey's Christmas Carol



Out of all of the adaptations of Charles Dickson's Christmas Carol, Mickey's has always been my favorite.

8. The Santa Clause



I loved it when it first came out because I was a fan of Tim Allen back then because Home Improvement was my fave show ever lol.

7. Prancer



I first watched this movie at school and fell in love with it. It's such a sweet lil story.

6. The Nightmare Before Christmas



Umm hello...Tim Burton is a genious! This movie takes my two fave holidays and combines them for the perfect holiday movie ;-)

5. Christmas Comes To Willow Creek



The movie has always been a personal fave of mine because it stars both John Schneider and Tom Wopat (Bo and Luke Duke) in the only film they ever did together outside of the Dukes movies.

4. Bad Santa



OMG...When I first watched this movie, I about died from laughing my ass off so hard. Its sooo freakin hilarious!! Plus, I love anything with Billy Bob Thornton. This is one Xmas movie NOT for kids though lol. Btw, I prefer the UnRated verison ;-)

3. Home Alone 1 & 2



I love both the first and the sequel equally! These movie were the shit back then...so damn funny...omg...seeing a little kid beat up Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern was the greatest form of entertainment! I remember when the 2nd movie came out...I went and bought one of those TalkBoys like Kevin has...I even had me a damn Home Alone: Lost In New York poster.

Btw...those other Home Alone's NEVER happened 

2. Gremlins



OMG Gremlins is the cutest damn movie...I wish Mogwai's were real because I sooooooo want me a Gizmo!! He's like the cutest lil critter EVER!!!

Seriously, just look at him in his little Santa hat :-D



1. National Lampoons Christmas Vacation



NOBODY DOES VACATIONS LIKE THE GRISWOLDS!!!

And their Christmas vacation has always been my fave...if not just for the scene were the damn squirrel wrecks their Xmas tree and come on...who doesnt love cousin Eddie..lmfao!

Damn I wish the movie was on right now so I could watch it!

LOL I love doing these tag blogs....some of them brings back all kinds of memories while typing them up, and this one was no exception.

The tag is to list 10 toys, tv shows, or movies from your childhood that you REALLY liked...and boy did I have a hard time narrowing it down to 10!!!

Here we go, counting backwards lol....

10.) Fresh Prince & Blossom

The first two shows that I remember loving to watch growing up, outside of the PBS programs, were The Fresh Prince and Blossom!! I still love watching Fresh Prince, but havent seen Blossom on in years..I had a mad crush on Joey..I loved how he said "Whoa!" lol




9.) Candy Land

Omg..the first board game I ever owned! I used to love playing it, but would get some damn mad when I lost :-( I was such a sore loser...I wouldnt mind having the game again lol.



8.) Looney Tunes

I used to love getting up Saturday Morning and watching the Looney Tune cartoons! I always loved them more than the Dinsey ones. My two fave character has always been Bugs Bunny and Tweety Bird :-D




7.) Lisa Frank stickers

I loved to collect stickers when I was little, and my fave were by Lisa Frank! Speaking of Lisa Frank, I owned all her stuff back then...folders, book bags, pencils...everything!



6.) Lamb Chops

OMG! I so loved me some Lamb Chops Play Along!!! I used to have a Lamb Chops puppet I would play with all the time lol. I remember my fave episode was the one where she got the chicken pox lol.

5.) Bambi

Bambi was the first movie I ever owned, if I'm not mistaken. I loved that dang deer so much lol...it is one of the saddest cartoons ever :(




4.) Bicycle & Trampoline

You probably wouldnt believe it now, but when I was little, I would stay outside playing!! (lazy as hell now) My two fave things to do was ride my bicycle and jump on the trampoline...I loved turning flips lol..I thought I was the shit when I learned how lol!



3.) The Little Mermaid

OMG Forget Cinderella and Snow White...Aeriel was my fave Disney Princess!! I LOVED The Little Mermaid so much!! It still is my fave disney cartoon...nothing compares to Sebastian singing "Under The Sea" and "Kiss The Girl!"




2.) Barbie Dolls

I LOVED Barbie dolls!!! That was my favorite thing to play with growing up...every time we went to Wal-Mart, the first place I would go was the toy department and find me a new Barbie! I had all the accessories too...my  fave was the pink limo with the poll in the back :-D

This one was my fave!! I forgot what I named her, and I'm surprised I found it online!



1. )The Lost Boys

LOL..I now everybody is thinking wth?! What can I say..I was an odd child and I loved me some horror movies. Omg I was totally obessed with The Lost Boys back then...when I was in Kindergarten, I would come home and fall asleep watching it on the couch lol. Everybody that would come over, would have to watch it with me. I was so in love with Michael and I wanted to be Star so bad!! It was the first real movie I ever owned and it has been and always will be my favorite!

And I’ve Had That Song In My Head All Day....

My friend Duchess tagged me a few days ago to do a blog about the 10 most meaningful songs to me. I thought about it and though about it, but I'm not sure if there is any songs that had a real impact on my life. I listen to songs just because I like them..every now and then one will come along that I can relate to or one will come along that will make me cry, but I've never heard one that was life changing. Then again, certain songs have shaped my love for music at certain points in my life. Maybe they didn't change my life, but maybe the did help shape who I was at the time and who I am now. So here is the ones that have had some meaning to me over the years.



1. Achy Breaky Heart by Billy Ray Cyrus

This song came out in 1992, when I was only 5 years old.  This was also the very first song that I really LOVED. I used to sing it constantly….and I also had the BIGGEST crush on  Billy Ray Cyrus! I consider this song to be the start of my love for country music. Also, the tape that this song is on, was also the  very first cassette tape I ever owned…Some Gave All…that tape was my life when I was little lol.



2. You Win My Love by Shania Twain

The first time I heard and saw the video, I became a Shania Twain fan INSTANTLY. The video was just so dang fun! I'm not sure how old I was…probably around 10...but I remember watching it on CMT all the time when I would stay with my Grandma. (That's back when CMT used to be a 24/7 music channel…damn MTV for buying it out and ruining it.) Shania has impacted my life in a lot of ways growing up…I've always looked up to her and admired her for all the things she has accomplished. She has always inspired me and so I guess You Win My Love indirectly impacted my life by making me a fan of hers.



3. Wannabe by Spice Girls

OMG the first time I head this is song, I became a Spice Girls fanatic! I had every damn thing of the Spice Girls you could think of and my bedroom walls was covered in posters and pictures, and I do mean COVERED. I wanted to be a Spice Girl when I grew up lmao…I remember every girl in my class loved them back then…we were all about the Girl Power lmao. Posh Spice was my favorite one…I just loved the way she dressed and never smiled in pics…I was such a dork. At least I was different though, everybody else wanted to be Baby or Ginger :-P



4. Good Ol' Boys (Theme from the Dukes of Hazzard) by Waylon Jennings

Its not so much the song, but the entire show that impacted my life. I remember when I first saw the Dukes of Hazzard on TNN (Now Spike tv…thanks again MTV) I became totally OBESSESED…I'm not sure if that word even covers it! I was and still am one of the biggest Dukes fans you will ever come across. Anyways, about the song….The song made me fall in love with Waylon Jennings's music…he was also the balladeer for the show. It was around the time I discovered the Dukes of Hazzard and Waylon Jennings, that I started loving country music again. I had basically stopped listening to it for a while during the Spice Girls craze, but after discovering my love for country all over again, that's when I became a die hard fan of country music and have been ever since. Waylon Jennings also became one of my favorite singers and I really wanted to meet him, but I never got the chance. I cried my eyes out the day he died.




5. The Woman in Me album by Shania Twain

My favorite album of all time. I have to include the entire album because  it has gotten me through so much.  When I was young, I couldn't go anywhere without taking it with me. When I used to come down to Mobile to stay with my cousin, I would have to listen to it at night to help me fall asleep because I would be freaking out from being so far away from home. Whenever I was upset over something, I would take out that cd and listen to it. It would be the only album that would cheer me up. I love every single song on there and I don't think there will ever be an album released that I will love as much as that one.



6. Last Chance For a Thousand Years album by Dwight Yoakam

Another cd that I have to include is Dwight Yoakam's greatest hits from the 90s album. It's my 2nd favorite cd of all time. I would also bring it everywhere I went. Dwight Yoakam has always been one of my favorite singers, but after really listening to the songs on Last Chance for a Thousand Years and watching all his videos, he became my second favorite artist of all time, next to Shania. It was actually Dwight that inspired me to want to learn how to play the guitar and write songs. Al though I never did really get the hang of it =/ The only song I really ever did learn to somewhat play was one his…It Only Hurts When I Cry. And I still own my guitar…maybe one day I'll take it up again.



7. How Do You Like Me Now by Toby Keith

Ok so this song didn't impact me in and way really, but I remember when I first saw the video on CMT I thought…HELL YEAH! That's going to be me one day….because I totally wasn't popular in school at all and that kinda motivates me to one day be able to go back there and say…look here bitches, how do you like me now?!



8. Teardrops on My Guitar by: Taylor Swift

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I was totally stunned when I first heard Teardrops on My Guitar. Listening to this song is like listening to the story of exactly how I felt in school. It's almost like she's singing about me. I can relate to every single verse. Even the name of the boy is the same. Every time I listen to the song or watch the video, I can't help thinking about how much I used to "love" Drew and how hurt I was that he never liked me back. The only difference is that if I wrote it, it would have been called Teardrops on My Pillow. Although hindsight is 20/20, and I must say I'm so happy we never did date. But this song is definitely the most biographical to my school life.



9. Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd

My all time favorite song. It really doesn't have any significant meaning to me, but I love the lyrics. From the first line…"If I leave here tomorrow, would you still remember me"….I think we all have thought that from time to time. Whether its about dying or walking away from a relationship…will you remember me? Have I done anything with my life that's worth remembering when I'm gone? I just love it…and you can jam like hell to it…especially when your drunk off your ass from drinking too much Budweiser and Smirnoff  lmao!



10. Redneck Woman by Gretchen Wilson

LOL..Ok so this one I just totally love because, well dammit, its so me and I don't give a rip what ya'll think because I'm a redneck and proud of it :-P




Well there ya'll have it. Aside from Wannabe, these are some of my fave songs. They're not my all time favorites, except for Free Bird, but they have all been songs that I really, really loved during a certain time or have shaped my love for music in general.

Why is it that the overly religious Bible thumper's always love to talk how they're "Christian's first, American's second," which is why they choose to ignore the fact that everybody should be able to live their lives however they see fit, like being be able to marry who you want, but when it comes to the right of "freedom of religion" they love THEIR rights as Americans then. Just a random thought.

God, I'm so glad Tuesday is almost here!!! I'll be glad when this election is OVER!! (Did I mention I voted early? :D )
I've had enough of all the damn political hate mail in my inbox. All of it spewing religious hatred at Obama. Which really brings me to another random thought:

How come the Pro-McCain/Palin people cant send me any emails telling me why I SHOULD vote for McCain, instead they send me a million fucking emails telling me why voting for Obama would be an abomination to this country. Give me a fucking break people. Those emails just make me want to vote for Obama more because they only piss me off by the stupidity of them and make me want to vote for him out of spite….grrrr.

Seriously though, wouldn't a better tactic be sending emails about how McCain will help our country, instead of emails spewing made up lies about Obama? I mean hell, this is all coming from Christians…I didn't know God condoned making up lies about a fellow human being just to sway somebody's vote.

I've had at least 7 emails about Barack Obama come directly to my yahoo inbox, all of them full of pure hate and detest of him. Everything ranging from him being called the Anti-Christ to him being compared to Hitler. Wtf?! I had absolutely no emails telling me why McCain would make a great leader (lmfao..yea right because they know that's a fucking joke!) and one email asking me to pray for Sarah Palin. (WHAT THE HELL EVER! That's even a bigger joke!)

I already blogged about this one time, but NO I will not pray for Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin isn't the one who is getting called the anti-christ, Sarah Palin isn't the one being compared to Hitler, Sarah Palin isn't the one getting death threats by fucking racist skin heads who don't like her just because of the color of her skin. HELL FUCKING NO I wont pray for Sarah Palin! Grrrrrrr!!!!!

These religious zealots need to get their praying priorities straight…if you believe somebody is an abomination to this country, shouldn't you be praying to save their souls instead?! Last time I heard, Sarah Palin didn't need my prayers, since she must know exactly what God wants, being she knows "God's will" and all.

It just pisses me off getting emails, reading bulletins, and reading blogs all trying to tell me how to vote based of their religious beliefs. It's like what somebody wrote in the last Obama hate email….we have a freedom of religion in this country…WELL DUH…THAT'S THE FREAKIN POINT. You are FREE to practice whatever the hell religion you want, you are free to believe whatever the hell you want, you are free to believe that the Easter Bunny is the Supreme One for all I give a fuck….JUST DON'T PUSH YOUR RADICAL BELIEFS DOWN MY THROAT AND EVERYBODY'S ELSES! Freedom of religion goes both ways! You should be free to practice religion however you feel is right for you, but don't dare try to tell me how to vote because one candidate doesn't mesh with your religion. Not all Americans believe in God. I believe in God, but that doesn't mean the next person does. And not all religions have the same views, not even all Christian religions view things the same, which is one reason religion should not play a part in politics…AT ALL.

That's why I'm so fucking sick of all the damn religiously politically stupid email I've been getting! Grrr! And hello….yes we have a "Freedom of religion" in this country but we also have a fucking "separation of church and state." So don't dare try to tell me that by voting for Obama would destroy our "freedom of religion" when religion shouldn't even be brought up in the first damn place! God, ya'll really do love to fucking cherry pick when it comes to "Christian first, American second."  I say just be fucking thankful you live in America where you do have the freedom to believe and practice whatever religion you want, because believe it or not, some countries arent as lucky as us in that department. Ungrateful holier than thou twits….Grrrr.

Like I mentioned earlier, I voted early by absentee ballot….and YESS I VOTED FOR BARACK "THE ANTI-CHRIST" "HITLER THE NEXT"
 OBAMA! And religion didn't play any damn part in my decision because I realize my religious beliefs shouldn't affect somebody's else's  beliefs. Plus, there is NOWAY in Hell I would EVER vote for a ticket that has Sarah Palin on it. That woman goes against everything I stand for and I find it laughable that somebody would actually say by voting for Obama we would lose our religious freedoms when Sarah Palin is the one who strongly opposes what should be the most basic of human rights in this country, and she opposes them all based on her religious beliefs.

Insert Sarah Palin rant now……

Sarah Palin is the one who is wanting to take people's rights away. I know she isn't the one running for president, but the very thought of the possibility that she could be our president if McCain died is scary as shit!
Again I'm gonna have to go back to the email that said we have a freedom of religion in this country, well honey, that's not the only freedom we have.

Our Declaration of Independence states:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

I could be wrong, but I don't see any clause where it says "that all men are created equal….except for homosexuals, people of other religions and faiths, and those we deem inferior to us." Nope, I don't see that anywhere in there, but ask Sarah Palin, and she'll tell you that gays have no right to the pursuit of happiness with somebody they love because it goes against HER religion.

You know what Sarah, that's lovely, you don't believe in gay marriage, then don't marry a woman. Don't try to deny somebody else the right to do so.

You know I could rant about marriage in itself. I cant stand the religious zealots that say that giving two people of the same sex the right to marry is destroying the morals of this country and that marriage should be kept sacred! LMAO! I'm sorry, but since when is marriage sacred anymore?! I didn't know marrying somebody, cheating on them, divorcing and getting remarried is sacred lmao! It's not homosexuals that are destroying the sanctity of marriage, it's us! Letting child molesters get out of prison and letting them have the right to marry is what should be considered an abomination. I don't know how two consenting adults that love one another, that's never done anything wrong, can be considered immoral. I say let God deal with them when there time comes, who are we to deny them there right to the pursuit of happiness?! (LOL @ Obama being an abomination to this country because he supports gay marriage when John McCain is the one who has been divorced. I thought divorce was against the Bible too?!)--Cheery picking which sins are worse again,  holier than thou twits?!

I also cant vote for a ticket that's strongly against a woman's right to choose. Even in cases of rape and incest! I already blogged my feeling on this, so I wont go into it again, but when Sarah Palin tries to tell a rape victim that she has no right as to what to do with her body, when that rape victim also had no choice in being raped, I find that highly fucked up.

Nope, Sarah Palin does not represent me! She may play that "average Joe hockey mom" bullshit to a tee, but last time I checked average Joe hockey moms don't spend $75,000 Neiman Marcus. She's only been a VP pick since September and has already had $150,000 spent on her "Average Joe" ass.  Almost 5,000.00 on hair and makeup while our economy is in the toilet, this aint not fucking beauty pageant…fuck her.
Also, wtf?! Hockey mom?! This isn't fucking Canada Sarah….so I don't think you'll be finding many hockey moms around here, since its mostly a football and baseball country….please go back to Alaska!

Sarah isn't anything special…she's just another greedy politician like the rest of them and I'm sick of her being hailed as some damn saint by all those religiously politically stupid people….Grrr.

This week's GBE topic was a no brainer. I knew I had to join in and introduce everybody to my pet doggy! My dog is more that a pet though, he's like my baby! So I would like everybody to meet my little man, Moot :-)



Moot is an AKC registered Boxer. He was born on December 22, 2006...so that means his birthday isnt too far away!!

Moot is probably the most spolied dog you will EVER meet lol! He is litterly like a child. He has more toys than should be allowed!!! He is really smart too :-) He knows all his basic commands like sit, speak, roll over, and shake. He also knows phrases like "who's here?!" and "lets go for a ride"...he gets super excited when he hears the word ride too! He'll start jumping all around the house ready to go lol!
He's a brat though!!!
Anyways, I thought I'd share some cute pics of him instead of ramble too much :P
