Back in town, Back to the grind!

I am BACK. I went to Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt and stayed in a 5 star hotel to just relax and get a change of scene.

It's been like 7 weeks since I've done any hard poker grinding so I'll be getting back to that pretty soon, then probably making plans for Vegas june/july if I can be bothered doing moooore traveling.

Break From Poker

Well I have barely played any poker at all in March after running hot in jan and feb.

I guess I got a bit burned out from playing such high volumes so all I’ve been doing is playing video games, going to the gym 2 hours per day, sleeping, shopping, going to football games etc. etc.

Once I’ve found the motivation to start playing again I’ll be back pwning the tables hard.

Peace out.
Dale

More idiots playing $700 SNGs

Still playing these damned EPT steps.

Despite every idiot on the site finding their way into the $700 Step 5s I was having trouble winning one.
Infact at one time I had well over $2K of step 3-5 tickets and busted the lot into only one $82 Step 3 ticket.

Well I ran that step 3 into a step 4 and ran that into a step 5
and was very lucky to have the biggest idiots on pokerstars at my table so I could take down a $2100 Step 6 ticket.

This was the funniest hand

http://www.pokerhand.org/?2095094

This is what the guy actually said after the hand....

PeterBe: thats what you get for betting
PeterBe: when one is allin
ClydeTF: lol
Daleroxxu: ahahahaha

he was obviously serious therefor it is the funniest thing I've seen written in a chatbox ever.

If anyone else wants to study the ICM for these steps and has SNGPT I've attached the structure files that I created:

EPT Steps

I've been playing a lot of the EPT steps recently and studying them with the custom structure files I made for SNGPT.
I'd like a trip to Poland or San Marino.

I run sick in the Step 3s and Step 4s.

Can't seem to get past the Step 5s tho. The geniuses just keep outplaying me...... (I already had this guy tagged as an idiot from another Step 5).

Making SNG videos for G-Zone.

I am now making Sit N Go videos for a new instructional site called G-Zone.

G-ZONE

G-Zone is hosted on gutshot.com which is a Prima/MicroGaming skin.
The owners of the site were impressed by SNG results on the site and contacted me to offer me the position of SNG Instructor for this new poker learning resource.

When G-Zone goes live it will cost $25 a month but other options are to sign up for a gutshot.com poker room account and you will get 1 month free and you will also be able to pay for other months with very little VIP points from playing on the site.

I've made 4 videos so far and they are specific to the SNG structure on Prima where the blinds DOUBLE every X hands. I'm hoping that I can encourage more people to play SNGs on Prima as the volumes have been very low recently.

There are some very talented instructors on the site and they will be covering everything from low limit holdem to high stakes PLO and stud to MTTs.

i hate MTTs
Current mood: apathetic

Ok so i've been playing the multi table sngs (the 18man the 45man mostly) on stars this month and crushing them hard.

I decided to start mixing in whatever of the proper scheduled MTTs (which i NEVER usually play) are about to start when im loading up my first set and i went deep in the daily 15k, only to get seriously owned 3 handed at the FT when i lost AJo to A5o all in pre then A8o to QJo all in pre and ended up with only 2.2K when i should have taken the 6.5K for first. This is why i never play proper MTTs, they are so soul crushing.

Then tonight I played the TLB Passport Freeroll for dudes that came 101st-200th in the Pokerstars TLB for december. I played really well and went deep and made a bad laydown at the final table on this hand but i would have gotten sucked out on anyway. Riverdave is pretty good and i thought he had to have a big pair there, then the other guy shoves and I think he has a set.

The FT payout was 500/750/1000/1250/1500/2000/3000/5000/montecarloseat.

z00ts got heads up with the other guy having a chiplead and the other guy ended up taking a deal that z00ts shipped him $2K and he got the Monte Carlo package woth $20K which is a sick sick deal since 2nd place was only $5K (15K difference).
Someone joked in the chatbox that this dude was under 18 thats why he was so desperate to take the cash instead of the package, seems pretty likely actually.
Oh yeah and the package included $1.5K cash, lol, so it basically only cost him $500 for hotel and a monte carlo seat.

I won a package to "WPT Boot Camp - Battle for the Season Pass II" on Prima by having the best SNG results for the last 4 weeks, as I prove once again (as if it was even in doubt) that I'm the best SNG player on that site.

The package including the extra spending money is worth about $6K~

Here is the details...........

WPT BOOT CAMP® presents Battle for the Season Pass II, December 3-8, 2007, at Nassau's Crystal Palace Casino in The Bahamas.
