The Palm Wax Tiki Collection will be retiring on September 6th, 2008!

The Tiki soaps will be sold until they're all gone.

Sneaky Tiki and South Seas are the two best selling scents from the collection. It's tough to say which one is better because they're both so different! But I'm so pleased to see these two as the front-runners because these are the two that I thought might be a little risky, and was worried they wouldn't go over as well. They're two scents unlike anything else I've ever designed. But you love them and I'm thrilled! Get more!

NEW Reduced shipping at Dark Candles

I've had a lot of customers lately complaining that the postage is so high - and then the post office went and raised rated AGAIN even higher yesterday. I don't set the shipping rates, and I have to pay postage too. I won't tell you how much money I forked over to the USPS last year, but it was enough to buy a nice car. Enough is enough. Some folks can't even afford to order Dark Candles anymore because of the high shipping costs. So I've decided to make the switch to UPS and FedEx.

UPS and FedEx are already saving my customers money on every order.

For example, one box of a dozen votives shipped to California saves approx. 50 cents over Priority mail. But a box of a dozen votives, a pillar, and a couple of collection packs saves you approx. $7 in shipping fees versus priority mail.

Dark Candles ships orders that average over 2 pounds, and UPS and FedEx are nearly always cheaper for heavier packages.

I hope that you'll see the savings difference right away! I've already gotten a flood of emails from customers thanking me for the switch.
