Behind the Scenes in the Recording Studio

My friends anyday in the studio is a beautiful day and yesterday I had the pleasure of recording my new song "Wait for Me" at Lucky K Studio in Pensacola Fl. The song is still in its infancy and I still need to lay down vocals. However, I wanted to share my experience visually and share the sound of the wonderful players who played with me on this track. The final version of the song is forthcoming. Till then I hope you enjoy this sneak peek.

Well, I have been working on my new song Wait for Me. I have basically finished the demo for the musicians I've hired. Let me tell you the journey to writing this particular one has been a joyous one. Its very satisfying to know when you have accomplished something from basically nothing. I will say to all of you songwriting can come easy or it can be a struggle. Some more than others. Everyone has different methods to the madness. I wanted to share mine. Now this is usually the way I write songs. I am constantly scribbling melodies and ideas. When I'm on to something I can easily go thru many version of the basic idea till I get it right. Sometimes I nail it within the first 2 or 3 tries. I love it this way. It helps me to visualize the madness from the start and celebrate the end.
