Hello everyone. I know I have not written a blog in a long time but I have been keeping silent on something that has been happening until now...

First and foremost everything is going great. My beuatiful and sexy wife and  are wonderful. We still love each other so much and it is great to be with someone who I can trust, count on and makes me happy. Being with Jennifer is the greatest thing ever and I am so happy to call her my wife. I could never and I mean never ask for a better wife. Believe me those who know her know what I mean. Nobody is perfect but she is as close to a perfect wife anyone could ever have.

Anakin is growing like crazy. His first words were "Da-Da" which he says a lot at times especially the first day he started saying it. Jennifer wanted it to be "Mom-Ma" but he is getting there. He is not crawling as one would say but he is rolling around and scooting. It is so great watching my son grow and I enjoy every moment being a father.

All in all my family life is great. I could not ask for a better family then the one I have right now.  I was blessed by great parents, great brother and sister and most importantly the best wife and son anyone could ask for. I thank God everyday for them and keeping my sanity and shaping the way I am today.

I am currently a 2nd Degree Fellowcraft Mason and should be a 3rd Degree Master Mason by the middle of May. Also still working on the second book and another book. It is just taking awhile since I have been so busy lately.

Friends always come and go. Sometimes I wish they were always constant but I know life gives and takes away the things you cherish and that is the way it is. Lately I gained some more friends with people I work with. One is now my Mason brother who is now a member of my Lodge. They are characters but they are still friends who I trust. I even saw some friends from Goldfield when I visted last weekend which was great.

Now folks the moment you have been waiting for. Some of you know this because you e-mailed me about it in my last blog but it is now time to make this public. I am currently in the process of become a Special Agent for the FBI. I already passed one phase of the interview process and I have another phase next week. I have to fly to Phoenix next week and have an interview there. They set me up with a nice hotel, the Hilton there. If I pass this phase then all that is left is a background check (which I will pass) and then a physical test which I have been training for.

Once I pass that I will be sent to the FBI Academy probably at the end of Summer or the beginning of September. This will be hard because it is in Virgina and I will be away from my wife and son for over four months. They will be living at my parents house as there is more communication opportunites there and video conferenceing to keep in touch with them. Plus to save on rent and expenses. I will probably go into the Cyber Crimes division (monitoring terrorist communicatons over the net, catching sexual predators and any computer crime you can think of), however it will probably be desiced upon graduation from the Academy. After that I will be assigned to one of the 56 FBI main Field Offices. I am sorry Reno is not one of them. he onyl one in Nevada is Las Vegas. So no matter what I will be moving from Reno when I get this job.

It would be a little sad since this is where I lived since 2001 but I will adjust. The reason I am going for this is because I always wanted to work for the Federal Government. Don't ask me why but I have. Two this job will be more adventurous and also a job I can do for the good of mankind instead of the job I have now which is Casino systems. Three of course is the big rate of pay that I would be making and of course money talks.

First Blog of 2008

Well  wanted to write a blog real quick and let you know some stuff happening:

The usher in the new year my wife had to have gallbladder surgery and have it removed. Everything was fine and I took care of her. We are now both at work again.

Jennifer and I are great. We enjoyed the time we spent together (except for the pain and sickenss part). She is such a great wife and I am so happy with her. She is a great person to usher in the New Year with. We are so much in love.

Soon Jennifer's sister Stephanie will be living with us. She is going to take care of Anakin during the day so he doesn't have to be in daycare anymore. We can't wait for her to live with us and we are excited.

Still going to Vegas next month for WWE No Way Out pay per view. We got some pretty close tickets to the ring. It si going to be a blast.

I should become a 3rd degree Master Mason by the time summer comes around. Keep and eye on that.

Also I have some big news for Jennifer, myself and the baby's future. If you want to know what it is you must e-mail me and I will let you know. I can't make this future news public yet but believe me it is awesome.

The baby is doing great. He is growing and growing. It is fun watching him develop. I can't wait to start teaching him a lot of new things in the the future. I love being a father.

Update on Life, End of Year edition

Well I just wanted to give everyone an update since last time I updated everyone.

First I want to say I love being a father. Anakin is so great. He seems to be developing ahead of where he is supposed to be. I keep checking the average growth chart and he has already completed things he is supposed to just beginning on how to do. He has a great smile also. I love being a father so much.

Jennifer and I are still great. We had fun on Halloween. We dressed up as vampires and Anakin did also. I will post some pictures up either today or tomorrow. We also passed out some candy. It was Jennifer's first time dressing up for Halloween and she enjoyed it.

On November 2nd we celebrated our 1 year anniversary. We went on a Vegas trip. I took her to the Venetcian and we rode the Gondolas and then went to see a play based on her favorite movie. It was the Phantom of the Opera. That was real fun and I enjoyed it a lot. We then did many activites on the Strip and went to different places. It was a fun anniversary.

Today is Jennifer's birthday and I got her tickets to a play for her second favorite movie. The Disney version of Beauty and the Beast. I also got a couple of movies for her and I am taking her out tonight.

The 7th and 14th my wife and I have our Christmas parties. It is going to be fun. We have rooms to stay the night at the parties. It will be nice to go out.

Jennifer has a new positon at her job. She will be working at headquarters for her company. Myself I just tranfered to a new department. My new title is Senior Application Specialist. I also got a nice decent raise with the transfer. We will see how this goes.

In February Jennifer and I are returning to Vegas because there is a WWE pay per view there and we are going to watch it live. It is going to be so much fun.

Anakin John Tyson was born...

Yep on September 10th, 2007 at 9:29pm, my son was born. His name is Anakin John Tyson. (Yes I am a Star Wars nerd). He was born at 6 pounds and 15 ounces and 19 inches. To see some pictures check out his album and comment on the pictures.

Anyway it was interesting how he was born and why he was about three weeks early. We went in for a checkup and the nurse popped Jennifer's water. We had to have the baby then. Then the nurse left the potusan on too long and dropped the baby's heart rate way down. The doctor rushed in and we had to do an emergency C-Section. It was scary for both Jennifer and I but it was all good when I saw them take the baby out of her. Everything is fine and Jennifer has healed well. However we did stay in the hospital for three days. I stayed and slept at the hospital to be with Jennifer.

Jennifer and I are so happy with the baby. We are enjoying being parents even though at times he does keep us up a lot at night. He is so cute. Jennifer is taking a month off and I am working from home to help her out. Everything is so wonderful. I am so happy with a wonderful great wife and a great kid.

News and comments

Well first I would like to say Jennifer and I are still great. The baby will be here in less then a month. She is already two centimeters dialated. We can not wait. Plus we get to spend time with the baby for a month because I will be working from home and she has maturnity leave. It will just be me, her and baby Anakin. I can not wait.

We got all the baby stuff we need (my parents sent us a lot of money these months for baby stuff), just need a rocking chair, clothes and any other small baby accessories. So if you want to send something still you have time. Please send it to:

We bought ourselves a Wii. It is fun. Jennifer beats me in bowling. We will try Mario party 8 later this week against each other.

Work sucks because I am back on the Mexico project but I will be getting another raise at the end of the month so that is good.

Submitted some short stories to magazines, will update you if any gets published.

Still working on the second book stay tuned for that.

In other words Jennifer and I are so happy as you can tell. Everything is going great for us. We could not be anymore happier. Stay tuned for more information later and pictures. Please comment.

Lies and an update on life

Just wanted to say that is it just sad people still have to make lies about me. Most of you know what I am talking about. Oh well everyone I know knows the truth and just makes those people look more pathetic everytime they do it so it doesn't bother me. But enough wasting my time on something that is below me...

Man life is so wonderful anymore. Jennifer and I are doing great. I got her into video games a lot and she and I play Xbox 360 all the time. Sad to say she beats me in MLB 2K7. She plays the Padres and I am the Rockies. She hit ten homeruns last game. Maybe someday I will win the game. She also kicks butt at Guitar Hero II. We both want a Wii also and might get it in a couple of months because we are spending most of our money for the baby of course.

Jennifer is the best wife ever. We are so happy together and have so much fun. I have done so much stuff with her then I did when I was in college until I met her. We go to the movies a lot especially the drive in. Since I got the SUV we can just lay in the back and watch the movie. We go to a lot of places and travel. We just have a lot of fun together and we are always happy. She is the love of my life and the best thing to ever happen to me. I never thought I would be so happy but she is the best. I got blessed and I thank God every day he gave me such a special girl to love and care for the rest of my life.

The baby is still doing well and very healthy. I can not wait to be a father. I am proud to have a family of my own. We have been spoiling the baby already plus my parents have been giving a lot of money and they are excited about their new grandchild. I will take some pictures of the baby room Jennifer and I have been designing.

Job has been... well it has been a job. However was told I would be getting a decent raise in September which is always good.

My second book is doing well and don't worry folks I am getting there. Also in the next six months I might have some short stories published in some literary magazines. Good for exposure and I do get paid for that also.

On a sad note, the message board I frequented since 2001 has been shut down. it was www.fridaythe13thfilms.com and met some good people there. It will be missed.

Transformers was an awesome movie. Enough said.

Ever since after April of 2006 my life has been wonderful. I could of not been blessed so much. I have a wonderful wife, I am having a kid. I have a great family and wonderful friends. Life is great. Stay tuned for more.

Update and information for baby stuff

Hello everyone how is life? Well life here is great. Jennifer and I are still doing great. We had a good Memorial Day weekend in Tonopah/Goldfield. It was nice seeing my old friends and also Jennifer enjoyed meeting them. Jennifer experienced the Goldfield/Tonopah way of life and also had her first experience spotlighting. She got herself a rabbit.

We are both totally excited that the baby will be born in four months. We are already getting the stuff we need. However we also got a registry for Walmart. So if you want to get us a gift for the baby you can look at a Walmart store or Walmart online and search for our name Jennifer Tyson (first person) and David Tyson (second person) from Reno, NV. There are two registrys there so pick the second one as the first one was created but no items added because of a malfunction at the kiosk. If you don't live in Reno then you can mail it to us at:

We appreciate your support. We don't know when and if a baby shower is going to happen. The girls at Jennifer's work want to throw one but just wanted to let everyone know if they wanted to give a present to Jennifer and I for the baby. Jennifer will also be registering at Babys R US on Saturday with her friends so you can check there also.

Well the next few months I will be going to quite a few concerts with my wife who is a huge music nut. Tonight we are going to Pat Benetar, then in August we are going to REO Speedwagon, then in September we are going to Heart and then Def Leopard, Styx and Foreigner (who are all playing together).

Along with these conects this summer we are going to be doing some camping. My father gave Jennifer and I this huge air matress. It is going to be fun. Also of course we are going to see all the movies coming out this summer.

October (they said around the 4th) the baby will be born. Good stuff. I can't wait to be a father. To teach the kid a lot of things and to play sports with the kids and of course video games. Fun stuff.

The sex of the baby is.....

The sex of the baby is a boy. Jennifer and I are both excited. The doctor doing the ultrasound said he is 100% and boy. I wanted to make a vulgur joke and say "Well of course it is easy to tell it is a boy since I am the father." but I kept my mouth shut. Just wanted to let everyone know that and that Jennifer and I are proud that we are having a son and his name will be Anakin John Tyson.  Just wanted to let everyone know.

Prepare for another Tyson child from the seed of David Tyson. Can you handle it?

Update on life April 2007 edition

How is everyone? I haven't been on myspace in awhile and decided to come back today and give an update on life.

First and foremost everything has been going great with Jennifer, me and the upcoming baby. Everyone is healthy but I feel sorry for Jennifer going through the pregnancy ordeal with feeling nausious and stuff. Everything is great. Jennifer and I are doing wonderful. We have a lot of fun together, so much in love, and having a great time being married. She is so great. She is the best thing to happen to me. She is truely the love of my life. Her and I will probably take a small vacation together in May just the two of us since she will have some time off. I can't wait for that.

Next month we find out the sex of the baby. I can not wait. We already have names for the baby. If it is a boy he will be Anakin John Tyson or A.J. Tyson for short. If it is a girl it will be Anaka Belle Tyson or Ana Belle Tyson for short. (Yes I am a Star Wars nerd but the name is also unique). I am so ready to be a father and I can not wait. It is going to be great.

Work is work. I am still at Bally Technologies and I am still a Software Engineer. I am on two projects now the Washington project and the Mexico project. I have the first chapter of my next book written which the book is called "The Ffith Age: Book II: Shipwrecked." Those "friends" on my friends list that said they would buy my first book and haven't need to pick up the first copy of my book soon. I am in talks right now of getting it made into a movie. Stay tuned for that.

My heath is apparently good. Had some doctor check ups and they say I am healthy. I guess that is good.

Might change careers sometime in the future or go back to school and get a masters degree. I don't want a masters in Computer Science, so I might get a masters degree in teaching (so I could be a teacher someday), get a Masters in Business so I can make as much money as my rich bosses, or a Masters in History but I don't know what that would do for me.

Got Guitar Hero II for Xbox 360 yesterday. It is very hard for me but Jennifer does pretty well at it. Fun stuff.

Life is great. It is nice to have a wife I can trust, and someone who truely loves me back. She is so great. It is also nice not having to worry about money anymore or worry about being lied to all of the time. I love my life and I love that I share my life with Jennifer. It is great.

Update on life and the baby

Hello everyone. Just wanted to update everyone on the baby. Jennifer is a little over 6 weeks pregnant. Our estimated due date is October 4th, 2007. That is so cool. I am very excited about having a baby. We have already been saving a lot of money for the baby and already getting money from people. My parents already gave over a $100 and we went and bought a bed/playpen/changing center with it. They are going to give more as time goes on. I am so happy about the baby. I can not wait to be a father.

The prospects of a house are coming. I was looking at prices and they are ok still very expensive. However earlier this week our upstairs neighbor in the apartment decided it would be a good idea to let his sink overflow in his kitchen while he was taking a shower and it caused a big hole in our roof. Thank good the maintenance people fixed it but this is pushing us for a house.

Work is doing fine. Soon my buddy and I might get involved with UNR in some manner dealing with work. Stay tuned for that. I am waiting for an answer from upper management.

The second book will probably begin in two weeks. I can't wait for that and I am excited about that.
