Rather Unfortunate Turn of Events...
We must regretfully declare that after over two years of creation and performance, Dead Puppets are no longer continuing our journey. We have all seperated in our own directions but we are all still friends, are still in touch and on good terms.
It was merely simple matters of creative difference, distance and impossibility in certain areas of contribution. But nothing harmfully negative.
Keep in touch with all of us as we continue on in our own seperate endeavors. Thank you all for your support.

Recent Changes In Dead Puppets Lineup
Due to derisive statements about the changes made to the Dead Puppets' artistic vision and band lineup, the Dead Puppets would like to clarify the following facts.
The Dead Puppets was founded by current keyboardist, and former guitar player, Fiend. Before the inclusion of current producer Ben V, all of the Dead Puppets' material was written by Fiend. And all of the Dead Puppets' lyrics were and are written by Damien Carrion. Fiend, Damien, and the rest of the band approached Ben V, who is an experienced studio engineer, approximately one year ago to help produce and write future Dead Puppets albums. Despite that at the time he was being paid to produce several other local acts, Ben V decided to help elevate the production quality of the band's songs free of charge. The reason he chose to give up paid gigs so that he could assist the Dead Puppets in finding their full potential is because he believed that they possessed the creative ability to reach greater musical heights. So, between the guidance of a producer who had spent years studying audio production and the drive of the band, the Dead Puppets began to chart new musical territory.
Once the band began to develop a more original and mature sound, they decided that their stage show should also possess a fresher atmosphere that drew the audience's attention to their music rather than any overused stage gimmick. Fiend and the other members of the group then decided that it would be best to release Elf, their former cage dancer, of her duties. The decision was made because the band believes that they have an intelligent audience who is more interested in experiencing live music than watching a cage dancer.
Former Dead Puppet Drummer IV, who was the third drummer since the band's inception and not involved in the song writing process, was at the time romantically involved with Elf and was the sole band member who disapproved of her departure from the group. His relationship with Elf caused his interest in the band to diminish. About a week after Elf was relieved, IV expressed that he was displeased with the band's new material and the overall direction that the group was headed in. He then told Fiend that he wished to leave the band and would announce his decision to quit the band at the group's next practice session. Whereupon, Fiend and Ben V told him not to worry about attending band practice in the future, because they were committed to taking the band's music to the next level, and because they didn't want to squander their time on senseless drama.
Regardless of any ill will that former members of the group may harbor for the Dead Puppets, Fiend, Damien Carrion, Mortician X, Unknown Host, and Ben V all wish IV and Elf the best of luck with their future artistic endeavors and hope that they are able to find success.

OZONE MAYHEM
Another show at Ozone proved to more destructive than the last one. The incident with a guitar being thrown into the crowd to be destroyed paled in comparison to the June 3rd show. Made on the spot D. Carrion (vocals) started a chilling chant throughout the crowd where everyone could be heard repeating an ode to a band not much liked because of certain members involvement with them. Towards the end of the set Mortician X (synths, keys, live samples) was having some difficulties with his equipment. After chucking a chocolate covered donut at Fiend (guitar) and punching more than a dozen keys offone of his keyboards he unplugged it and threw it into the crowd where it was promptly destroyed by a group of fans. Tommy the Gun (drums) played an amazing show. It should be noted that it was the first show he had played with Dead Puppets and he certaintly impressed everyone there. Fiend (guitar) was just as mind numbing as usual and Unknown Host (bass) showed us all that bouncy bass lines and heavy bass notes were no problem for him at all. Footage should be up shortly online.
