See that pic to the side?  Thank Dr. Mel Practice for the plastic surgery he performed on me!  I've been in recovery for a while, that's why I haven't been around!  But I'm ready for my big weekend!  My flick is opening up nationwide tomorrow night at midnight!  Called "Spider-Boot Size 3"!  Here's the theme...

DeanBlog 172: BLOG MARATHON: Goals, Plans, Hopes

The DeanBlog continues along with today's Blog Marathon topic of Goals, Plans, and Hopes!

The immediate plan here at work is that the person that replaced the person that did my previous job function is gone as of tomorrow.  The person she replaced has decided to take another opportunity and also won't be coming back.  Leaving the only choice the company could make:  get me to take over that position as well as continue to do my current job duties!!!

Now, this is only for a short time, as they have posted a job opening for the position I'm filling in for, so don't cry for me, Angelina.  It will be a bit nasty getting everything accomplished in the day (including my blogs!!!), and to add a bit more excitement into the mix, the boys start school next week!  So it's gonna be a crazy September, I think!!

I've also decided that perhaps there could be a future for The DeanBlog.  Something awesome.  Something big.  I don't know what, but I think covering my bases might be appropriate, just in case.  Ease of finding The DeanBlog I think will be paramount down the road.  So to help with that, I created a new MySpace account, using www.myspace.com/deanblog.  A lot simpler to find, if you know what you're looking for!  So I recommend clicking on the link to the new site and doing a friend request, cuz I think the progression will be to move everything over to that site eventually.

Makes sense?  When I first got on to MySpace, I didn't think forward; the blog didn't have a name, it was all "hey, this is new!"  Now, with some measure of success, thanks to you all, if things do go to the next level, I want to be ready.  I'm never ready when things happen.  I'm trying to change that.
