Hey guys, Last summer we did a small house/basement show tour up the east coast w/ our friend Coin Laundry Loser and it was a blast. Well, we decided to try it again in between festival dates and see what happens!
WE NEED YOUR HELP THOUGH!
Listed below are the dates we need help booking. If you have a basement, house, or backyard in the areas listed below, and that would be great for a show, let us know by emailing bravenewbooking@gmail.com and we'll email you all the details of the tour.
Even if you don't have (or know of) a house where we can play and can still help us out at your church or another venue, we'd still love to come and play for you!

House Party Release date: 2000-06-06
Well, guess what ... Deas Vail is back in the studio working on the follow-up album to All the Houses Look the Same. We finished doing some demos a few weeks ago, but today was our first day in the studio refining some tunes in preparation for the new album.
The album will be recorded with Mark Lee Townsend in Spring Hill, TN. Mark has been helping us get all the songs ready, tweaking a few things here and there and working us to the bone. Well, not quite yet, but we're anticipating putting in some long hours cranking out some new songs.
Once the recordings are done, we'll be releasing an EP which will be available online, on iTunes, and at our shows. Then, we'll release the full-length album (with completely differnt material) later. So, be on the lookout for new tunes from DV, and come check us out on tour with Nevertheless, Ruth and Wavorly this Summer!

What does all of this have in common?
This wraps up what the last month and a half has been for us (Deas Vail). We are home right now enjoying our time off the dusty trail and in the process are preparing ourselves and you all for our next album. We are very excited about what is being produced and are enjoying every minute of it... well, to be honest, almost every minute of it.
We wish we could let you hear some of the new songs because we are that excited about them! You will just have to wait though ... sorry about that. So stay tuned in and check back with us frequently for some updates on how the writing process is going.

Well we couldn't make it to our show at The Subterranean tonight in Chicago... total bummer! We're very sorry about that.... here is why:
We were on our way and were stopped by a bad case of ice just north of Lafayette, IN on I-65. After seeing 8 or 9 cars in the ditch, sitting on the interstate for about 3 hours, and after finally making it to the next exit; we stopped off at a gas station, stayed in the parking lot for a while waiting for the chaos to die down, ate some DQ, watched Chocolat, and finally left after seeing the roads were good to drive on...
We are currently at a Super 8 Motel taking it easy...
Once again, we are sorry we could not make it tonight. We wanted to see all of your pretty faces for sure. Hopefully this will be the only cancelation on this tour. And and if you didn't know... we're on the "Christmas Under the Sea Tour" w/ Ludo, Edison Glass, and Treaty of Paris. Definitely a good night of music...
