i hate the spider

i am the spider who lives on the side of your jeep.
i picked the side that you like the best.
all night i spend weaving my webs between your jeep and the car you parked beside.
by morning i am a little sleepy, so i take a nap.
i usually wake up just in time to watch you walk into my web.
i laugh as you thrash around and mutter your curses.
i point my little leg at you.
my hiding place is the perfect spot to stay safe from your anger.
my eight little eyes can see you but your two big eyes cannot find me!
you drive to another location. i hold on tight as the wind whips by.
you always park in that spot beneath the shade of the big tree.
i like the shade.
