Hope everyone plans on voting in the primaries

Yes this is a little late, but I know some of ya'll haven't voted yet for your primary. I just read on Global Grind that members of the Hip Hop Summit Action Network (if you don't know, you need to read up), namely Russell Simmons, Deepak Chopra and Dr. Ben Chavis wrote a letter to Democratic candidates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama and asked them some very important questions. Both candidates responded to the questions, and I think its really great they are aware of the importance of the Hip Hop community and how strong we are. Please read them, and MAKE SURE YOU VOTE!!!

Kelly Rowland Concert Pictures

Hey yall, hope everyone had a good weekend and is ready for the Superbowl this Sunday (Go Giants!). Saw these pictures of Kelly Rowland at a concert in London and thought you should see them. I also read an interview where she was quoted as saying "I would never become a size zero. 'I work out because I want to look good naked, simple as that." Well apparently this is the next best thing for her...what do you guys think? Is she going too far, instead of showcasing her voice she's on stage half naked? Is Mariah Carey an April Fool??

Its time for another Mariah album yall! The album is tentatively titled "That Chick" and is set to be released on April 1. I think its a dumb name for an album, but Mariah always makes it work...okay well usually. The album will feature product from Jermaine Dupri (u know he's got that fire!), will.i.am, and Rodney Jerkins (hit maker), with features from T-Pain and even Damian Marley, which should be really interesting. Jermaine Dupri was quoted as saying this album might even be better than The Emancipation of Mimi, which was the 1 selling album of 2005. Jay and Beyonce Rumors

Alright everybody, I heard this rumor yesterday at Global Grind but didn't have time to write about it.  I'm reading that Jay-Z and Beyonce were married in a small private ceremony in Paris, France last week.  A source (can never trust those "sources) close to Beyonce's family says that instead of exachanging rings, the couple got tattoos on their ring fingers.

Now I know there are always rumors of Jay-Z and Beyonce getting secretly married, especially around this time of year (anyone remember a similar rumor this same time last year?) but I will post up some pictures.  The tattoos are of the roman numeral IV...which could mean anything, but I think it just means that they have been together for four years....but you be the judge...Just wanted to share it with everyone in case the rumors really are true.

Diddy denies Cassie rumors

Rest in Peace, Pimp C ((Updated))

This story is developing...but I thought I'd let ya'll know...Pimp C was found dead this morning (Dec. 4) on the 6th floor of his LA hotel room, the Mondrian Hotel.  A call was made to 911 and when they arrived, he was found dead in his bed.  Pimp C had just performed with Too Short at the LA House of Blues on Saturday night. 

There are no other details on his death...I will keep you update....rest in peace baby,  Hip-Hop will miss you.

UPDATE:  It is being reported that Pimp C died of natural causes.  There were no drug paraphernalia or other drugs found in the room.  Pimp C was found full clothed in his bed laying on his side...it didn't look like he fell or injured himself.  It didn't appear anyone else was in the room when he died...a toxicology test is being performed and results will be available in 6 to 8 weeks...

Usher Raymond V

Just wanted to say congratulations to Usher and I guess Tameka Foster too (just kidding), on their new baby boy Usher Raymond V. The baby was born in Atlanta earlier this week weighing 7 pounds 9 ounces. This is Usher's first baby at 29, and Tameka's fourth at 37. Who knows if they will release pictures of the baby or not, I'm sure he is adorable and is being born into a big family with big hearts. Congrats Ush...when can we get new music from you!!

I’m all better

I'M BACK!!!! I've been REAL sick the past week and have done nothing but lay around. Tomorrow I'm headed out to NY....the Bronx in particular, for my family's Thanksgiving.
