Fundamental goes worldwide in 2008!
The new year is bringing some exciting developments for Deepsky, including a major announcement for international fans--starting on January 10th, Fundamental will be syndicated internationally through Danceradio.gr, the top site for dance music streams on the net. You can catch the show on the second Thursday of every month, from 7pm-10pm GMT (2pm-4pm Eastern/11am-1pm Pacific).
Fundamental will be in good company on Danceradio, which also hosts regular shows from John Digweed, Carl Cox, Armin Van Buuren, and other top-shelf talent. Fundamental's format will follow the same successful formula it's had for the past four years--new music set against a backdrop of classic jams from the 80s and 90s, along with fresh mixes from both up-and-coming talent and world-class DJs alike.
Stateside listeners can still tune in on XM Radio channel 82 to catch virgin broadcasts of fresh Fundamental sessions before they hit the web.

As of today, "Ghost" has spent seven weeks on the Billboard Top 25 Dance chart! It takes a lot of dedicated support from fans around the country to make this happen, so my sincere thanks to all of you who have called in to your local stations and pushed for airplay.

New single "Brambledog" out now!
The latest single, "Brambledog", has just been release on Baroque Records! If you're a fan of uptempo, house-rocking jams, this one fits the ticket with a unique twist at the end. A mix from Trent Cantrelle rounds out the package with a deeper sound that picks up where the original leaves off.
You can grab it right now on MP3 or WAV from Beatport, or if you're a die-hard vinyl junkie, pick up the wax at Dancerecords.com, Juno Records, or your favorite local record shop. Enjoy!

Deepsky albums now available at all major online shops!
We've been getting countless requests to make the back catalog of tunes available online over the past year, and your wish is our command--our full-length albums are now available on iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody, and more.
Three albums have been posted, including In Silico from 2002 and the Stargazer EP released in 1999. We've also collected some of our favorites from the early years spanning 1994-1998, and created a retrospective called Back Catalog that contains early gems, including fresh and unreleased music that's never been available anywhere until now!
Our iTunes artist page can be reached here, and you can check us out on Napster here. We'll be posting more music as time goes on, including "Ghost" and "Talk Like a Stranger", so stay tuned.

New single "Brambledog" signed to Baroque!
We're excited to announce that our next single, "Brambledog", will be released on UK-based Baroque Records in October. We've both been fans of Baroque's music for years, and it's a pleasure to work with a label that has such a long and distinguished record of releases.
In true Deepsky style, "Brambledog" is an uptempo progressive stormer with a special surprise at the end... we think you'll dig it. We'll be posting samples as the release date draws closer. Until then, check out some of our current releases at Beatport.com or Release Records.

Deepsky merchandise now available!
| |
We know, it's been a long time coming. That just means you've got plenty of money saved up, right? We certainly hope so, because our new online shop is open for business. It's packed full of great stuff like shirts, caps, stickers, thongs, and more.
Most of the stuff in the shop is quality stuff by American Apparel, along with a few items by Bella and Hanes. No cheap iron-on or digital transfer stuff here either--it's all top-quality printing that won't crack, fade, or otherwise make you the object of derision by your peers.
You can check out the shop at http://shop.deepsky.net. We'll be building up our stable of designs as time goes on, so check back often to see what's brewing. |
