Hollywood Music Award!!

Hollywood Music Award -- Best Male Vocal Performance
Hi Everyone,
I had the honor of being nominated for a Hollywood Music Award this year, and I attended the awards ceremony this past Thursday, which took place at the Kodak Theater complex in Hollywood.
It was a really fun evening, a lot of great musicians were honored, a number of which also performed.
I waited patiently the whole night--it was the next to the last award of the evening when they announced the award for Best Male Vocal Performance (the category in which I was nominated), and they called my name!
I feel very honored to have been chosen for this award! I appreciate all of your support, which has really helped make this happen. Thanks for sharing in this exciting news with me!

Hollywood Music Award Nomination
I recently had the honor of being nominated for a Hollywood Music Award in the category of Best Male Vocal Performance.
The Hollywood Music Awards will be presented on Thursday, November 20th, 2008 at The Hollywood Highlands in the world famous Kodak Theater complex in Hollywood, CA. This is a HUGE honor, and I am very excited to have been nominated. I'll be anxiously awaiting the results :-).

LIVE RECORDING on May 16th

Hello friends,
I hope you've been well. I've been doing a lot of writing lately, and I'm anxious to share my new songs with you. In turn, I've decided to make a live recording of an exciting concert I have coming up on Friday, May 16th.
I will be performing in the beautiful sanctuary space of Solana Beach Presbyterian Church. I'm going to have an full band, with a few extra players, including a few great professional players.
Please put this event on your calendar and bring your friends--it will be a special evening.

Holiday Song & New Videos, and Happy Holidays!
Happy Holidays -- New Songs & New Videos!
Hey Everyone!
I wanted to say Happy Holidays! I love this time of year, especially in parts of the country where the change of the seasons is really noticeable--like in Kansas, where I'm from. Also, some of my very favorite songs are associated with the Christmas season. I think my favorite Christmas song is "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," the author of which, I recently learned, actually lives here in the San Diego area.
There is such a wonderful tradition in Christmas music, and a few years ago I felt compelled to make my own contribution to the genre and ended up writing a song called "Christmas In November." One afternoon last year I recorded this song with my friend Greg Laswell (who currently has his own great holiday music offering here on Myspace). I wanted to share this song with you all, and in turn, I've just posted it here on Myspace. Check it out when you get a chance, and please let me know what you think!
I also took a bunch of wintry pictures while I was in Denver, CO last month playing at the Colorado Music Summit, and I thought I'd share one of my favorites with you—which I've included at the top.
Also, I just got around to posting two new videos:
1) A performance of mine at Molly Malone's in LA earlier this year. I'm singing my song "Call On Me" and it features my good friend and renowned vocalist Arnold McCuller (James Taylor band).
2) A video of a brand NEW SONG called "Slow Down"
