DJ STRONG

DJ STRONG

www.myspace.com/djstrong

1. How long have you been djing and what inspired you to start?

Ive been djing since 95-96 when i bought my first set of tables of the homie rickmaster, i just was around a lot of my friends who used to break and some of them DJed, i borrowed my boy albert's turntables for a month or two and started messing around and knew i had to get my own.

my brother had been bringing different musical influences to the house like run dmc, too short, parliament, funkadelic and i used to watch all the bad ass djs on dmc battles and to be honest the song that really got me into the djing before all that was herbie hancock's rockit!

I was into the egyptian lover and the la old school. that was the ish to get down on and practice my scratching mixing etc. but ya know i am no beat junkie or q-bert but i def do my thing on the mixtapes, marketing and all that ;)

2. What do you think makes a good DJ?

originality. there are so many kinds of djs, radio, truntabilists, tour djs, club djs, mash up/hollywood djs, mixtape djs. you have so many different chances to be YOU, you just have to spend the time finding out who that is. For us it was mixtapes, we (cali Untouchable DJs) built a mixtape culture for the west coast that was not existent and im proud to say i was key in pioneereering that. and as a result i got to work with artists like ice cube, lil eazy e, game, tri-star,, kurupt, dogg pound, e-0, muggs, crooked i, west coast kam, akil of J5, j-ro of alkoholiks and many more

3. With the qualities stated in Question 2, who do you think is a good DJ?

hmm, with that in mind id say the DJ Warrior's, DJ Strong's, julio gs, clues, q-bert's, babu, rhettmatic, beat junkies, roc raida, drama, whoo kid, kay slay, kid capri, vice, A.M., Muggs, theres a lot of dope djs out there doing different things in urban music making their mark...

4. What's the most memorable experience in your DJ career?

Having the big name artists that i looked up to and am a fan of their music recognize my talent and reach out to work with me: Kurupt, Ice Cube, Too Short, Daz, Snoop, Lil Eazy E, Game, there are so many good moments.

Feeling that everything was coming full circle....but honestly i haven't nearly had my best moments yet! There's still a long way to go for me to accomplish everything ive wanted to do.

5. What advice do you give to new djs that are pursuing a successful career like yours that you wish you had received when starting out?

I don't know if there's any one thing that i could tell a DJ when they come up to me about being successful, i guess just do you and stay at it consistently and you can't ever go wrong!

6. What are you currently working on?

As you already know, i just got done doing the first ever promotional FREE mixtape for Shiekh Shoes Stores on the west coast. the mixtape features everyone from lil eazy, cube, game to new cuts with kurupt, young dre, tri-star, and so on... Shiekh Shoes check them out they have 90 doors on the West in CA, AZ, NV, and TX that are currently selling 3 of our t-shirts (HipHopWest/StreetWise) Go cop that King of Da Coast W T-Shirt ;). I have a few albums i am working on but i don't have any updates on that ntil the paperwork is official but count on it being BIG! and i will let you know for sure as soon as i do!

7.When can they see you live? What clubs coming up?

Im hopefully going on tour with some artists that are working on their new albums, possibly Tri-Star to help push his new venture but other than that im concentrating on hiphopwest.com, hiphopwest retail store, and you can hear us on cali untouchable radio show every tuesday night at 11pm on sirius sat channel 40! As always check www.myspace.com/djstrong for the official tour/show dates, thats the best spot to get my up to date shows.

8. Tell us about your local music scene. Who are the top local artists?

Well in So Cal its artists like Young Dre, Tri-Star, Lil Tone, Jay Rock, Bishop Lamont, Taje, Roccett, Kartoon, Mitchy Slick, 40 Glocc, Omar Cruz, Crooked I, Gail Gotti, Pacific Division, Strong Arm Steady, Lil Eazy, Psycho Realm, Murs, Roscoe Umali, Boretta, Self Sceitific, Evidence, man theres so many to name i know im forgetting somebody, but im sure they are gonna let me know so ill update ya on whoever it is lol.

9. What is a song that you hate to love ? (guilty pleasure)

Fergie - The Glamorous Life lol that song is hot.

10. As a stret marketing professional on the promotion side of the music industry, what suggestions do you have for independent or new artists in creating a buzz for themselves? And how can they get to you?

Go Hard! nowadays its all about getting your music/name heard so whatever you have to do to make that happen, go hard with it! if you want me to do up a promotional mixtape or somethign as far as marketing your artist just get at me through www.hiphopwest.com or www.myspace.com/djstrong i listen to most all of the music that comes in front of me...

11. What is the biggest obstacle you have had to overcome?

oh man, everyday is a blessing to be able to work and struggle because that's what makes you a better person. Ive had any normal obstacle that any person would have on top of trying to create something outta nothing so you can imagine what types of bullsh-t comes our way but they all make you stronger.

12. Who were your influences growing up?

My brother musically, my mother was a strong influence on me and shaping my outlook on life, my dad, I looked to all the stars and people out there and just picked what helped me.

13. Who would you like to share the stage with? Who have you shared the stage with?

www.hiphopwest.com

www.djstrong.com

www.myspace.com/djstrong

www.stronghouserecords.com

15. What else do you do besides DJ? And what are your typical working hours?

Man i work as much as i can so i don't have a set schedule but if im up im working ya know!

Outside of DJing I am starting business ventures so i am always coming up with idea that i put to market or create. I hit the gym and get in the ring sometimes to spar so that i can practice my ill karate chop to knock these haters out lol other than that i am always expanding my mind whether its reading or watching something that has meaning....

Whenever im not working on a project or with an artist or the radio show im basically planing the next move so im all in with what you see.

16.  What has your experience on MySpace been like so far? How did you first heard of MySpace? Is there anyone or group of people that you would like to re-connect with? If so, who?

the first time i had alot of friends on myspace and my account got frozen so i had to start all over but its all good hah.... DJ Swivel (Fabolous)

DJ Swivel

1.  I've been DJing for about 6 or 7 years.  As with many DJ's, I was inspired to start through a friend who was a DJ, back home in Toronto.  After messing around with his turntables for a few hours I was hooked.  Eventually I got my own equipment and that was that.

2.  I think what makes a good DJ is practice.  Having a great work ethic, and really focussing on being the best at your craft.  It takes time to train your hands and ears to work together to achieve that perfect mix.  A lot of people jump into DJing wanting to scratch and do all the fancy tricks, but they don't take the time to learn the rest of the skills needed to be a good DJ.

3.  My favorite DJ's are dudes like Jazzy Jeff, and DJ Premier.  Guys who are all-around great DJ's.  They can scratch and show off, but at the same time they can really keep a party moving with nice clean mixes.

4.  The most memorable moment of my DJ career was on Dec 18th, 2003.  A good friend of mine in Toronto is one of the cities top promoters.  He decided to throw this huge urban rave inside the Guvernment, Toronto's largest nightclub.  7 rooms, and 36 DJ's!!  I was lucky enough to be on that list, and had the opportunity to play with Jazzy Jeff.  He's such an incredible DJ and a really great person as well.  Very down to earth.  This was my first huge gig.  I think there was about 4000 people there!

5.  Well, as I said above, PRACTICE!  You really do need to be dedicated to be a DJ.  You can't expect to mess around here and there in your basement and then expect to kill a party.  You really need to live in front of your turntables!  Build up your collection of music and find creative ways to make your mixes better than the next guys.  Blend genres, remixing, etc.  I wouldn't really say this is advice I wish I had received when I started.  I think I was given some pretty good advice and I had the right people around me helping me along the way.

6.  Currently, I've been working on my career in the creative side of the music industry.  I'm a producer, as well as an audio engineer.  Right now I've just finished recording the entire Fabolous album, titled From Nothing To Something.  We're almost finished mixing and it will be out sometime in the 2nd quarter of this year!  Watch out for this one because it's gonna be CRAZY!  I'm also working with a new artist named ATM from Jamaica, Queens.  His records sound incredible so definitely be on the lookout for him over the next year!

7.  On the DJ side of things, I have a few residencies you can catch me at.  Thursday nights at Gypsy Tea, and Friday nights at T-NY.  Both parties are live.  If you're in the city, be sure to check 'em out.

8.  Well, originally I'm from Toronto.  I've only recently moved here to New York, in 2005.  Back in Toronto, or even Canada as a whole, the urban music scene is hurting a little bit.  Of course we have great artists like Nelly Furtado, Avril Lavigne, and Nickelback who are all enjoying a lot of success right now in their respective genres, but when it comes down to hip-hop, it's not going so well.  I'd say the top artist from out there is still Kardinal Offishall, who I will always be a big fan of.  He has a new label situation with Akon, so I think this is his big chance to show the world what he's got.  Akon is real hot right now, so people will pay attention when he's involved in a project.  And here in New York, the hot artists locally are still and always will be guys like Jay-Z, Nas, and of course my man Fabolous!

9.  I don't know if there's anything I hate to love haha.  I listen to all kinds of music and can give it up to a hit record, regardless of what genre it is.  Yes, even country!

10. I think the best way to create a buzz is to get hot locally.  Once you've done that, find out who the concert promoters in your area are.  Get in touch with them and try to work out a deal to open up for the artists they're bringing to town.  Tell them you'll do it for free, whatever you need to do.  That's a great way to get exposure to the artists.  Just get out there.  Be seen.  Hit up industry parties, talk to DJ's who are putting mixtapes out.  You really need to hustle your music from every possible angle.  You can get in touch with me right here on myspace.  I check all my messages and try to get back to everybody!

11. I'm still facing obstacles.  I suppose the biggest one was moving to New York and getting my start in the studio side of the industry.  Learning the trade, and trying to become the best engineer or producer I could.  To hey to any sort of success is hard work and perseverance.  I work my ass off trying to be the best at what I do.  Luckily I have incredibly talented people that help me out, and are showing me the ropes.  It was a long road to get to where I'm at, and I'm not even close to where I'd like to be, but I am on the right path.  Of that I am certain.

12. My personal influences growing up were my mom and sister.  Then for a time, like a lot of teenagers, it was my friends.  And now I'm influenced by many of the people who I work with in the studio.  The people who I strive to be like.  Musically I was influenced by a wide range of artists, from Michael Jackson, to New Edition, to Green Day, to Tupac.  I listened to everything.

13. I would love to share the stage with someone like Busta Rhymes.  His shows have so much energy and he gets the crowd involved.  I imagine that would be a thrilling experience to be on the receiving end of the fans' energy.  I've previously shared the stage with Jazzy Jeff, G-Unit, Whoo Kid, Sean Paul, among others.

14. The official site is being redesigned right now, but it will be up soon enough.  www.djswivel.com.  For now the easiest way to reach me and find out about what I'm doing is on my myspace profile at www.myspace.com/djswivelmusic

15. As I mentioned before, I work as an audio engineer as well as a producer.  I work for Duro, who's arguably the top mix engineer in the urban industry, and also the CEO of Desert Storm Records.  My hours are very erratic.  It literally works on a 24/7 clock.  It varies depending on who I'm working with, but on several occasions I've been in the studio for upwards of 40 hours straight, and I love every minute of it!  I'm also responsible for getting Fabolous onto myspace, and I run the day to day on his page.  On top of all that, I manage a graphic designer (www.onenyne.com), who's responsible for the brand new redesign on Fab's myspace page (www.myspace.com/fabolous).  So if any of you out there are looking for fresh designs for your page, you know who to talk to!

16. I first heard about myspace back in 2003, maybe 2004.  I was really quite uninterested.  It wasn't until I moved to Florida for school in '05 that I signed up.  Since joining, my experience with myspace has been incredible.  I've been able to reconnect with some old friends, but what's been great is the outlet to share my music with the world.  Everyone is on myspace right now.  You almost have to be!  This gives me access to a large audience and is great way to get feedback on the work I do.

DJ Supreme (Seattle)

DJ Mr. Supreme

www.myspace.com/mrsupreme

1. How long have you been djing and what inspired you to start?

A:   I started really deejaying around 86' but dabbled with it just for fun a few years prior to that. I was a bboy and used to buy records to dance to. Some of the very 1st records I bought were Jimmy castor, baby Huey and the babysitters, bob james, etc. I got into deejaying when I went to a friends house after school one day and his brother was doing it in his bedroom. I watched for about a half an hour and I wanted to learn.

2. What do you think makes a good DJ?

A: One that is well rounded with not only music selection but good mixing skills and the ability to read the crowd and please the crowd being an ultimate party rocker.

3. With the qualities stated in Question 2, who do you think is a good DJ?

A: I really took a liking to Twilight Tone when I heard him play, he is Common's DJ. Kid Capri kills it everytime and Danny Krivit as well.

4. What's the most memorable experience in your DJ career?

A: Having legendary cats such as DJ Premier compliment you when your playing.

5. What advice do you give to new djs that are pursuing a successful career like yours that you wish you had received when starting out?

A: That nowadays with digital technology everybody can have the same songs, the market is wide open right now. Back in the days only certain djs had certain records and it was a mystery as to even go as far as soaking the lables off the record in the bath tub so other djs didn't know what the record was so they couldn't get it. So now a lot of society sees djs as almost nobodies and think anyone can stand there and play music although that isn't what we're doing. So now it's important to create a personality that is in demand. That is why you have these actors and other stars being djs and actually getting high profile dj jobs. Instead of real true school djs getting those jobs. So my advice is to handle your business and create a demand for your self and your talent.

6. What are you currently working on?
A:  I just did a mix cd for the NBA ALL Star weekend in Vegas called "Play 2 Win", produced tracks for Karen o' of the yeah yeah yeah's, the wheedles groove movie (www.wheedlesgroovemovie.com/trailer.php), remix projects for various labels, production for Litefoot who just signed to Roc-a-fella (also, his official dj), and launching my label "Soul Gorilla sound" and our first release is the Dyme Def & Bean One "Space Music" full length cd. Some may remember my label Conception that I used to have? Also, partnoring with www.alloutkings.com a dj union and playing on the upcomming scion dj tour.

7.When can they see you live? What clubs coming up?

A: If you check my calendar on my page you can catch me when I come through your city. Miami this weekend, LA, SanDiego, Chicago, NYC, Seattle, etc. I'm all over the place all of the time.  Lots of different clubs coming up. A Las Vegas residency should be locked down soon and you will be able to catch me there regularly.

8. Tell us about your local music scene. Who are the top local artists?

A:  Our local scene has really came a long way. One of the top producers in the Game right now is my man Jake One who is here. Of course Bean One, Dyme Def, Framework, EVO, D Black, Litefoot, ZNI, Vitamin D, Choklate, Beyond Reality, Parker Bros. all doing their thing.

9. What is a song that you hate to love ? (guilty pleasure)

A: Abba "Dancing queen"

10. As a street marketing professional on the promotion side of the music industry, what suggestions do you have for independent or new artists in creating a buzz for themselves? And how can they get to you?

A:  You can always hit me up through myspace.  I think since the RIAA came down on dj drama and the mix tape game is screwed right now and with everything being digital the next phase is to do video and post on you tube and sites like www.mixcast.tv.  Just like 50 cent did the cam diss song the next day after the radio situation and had the video done and was being seen around the world. Maybe even mix dvds now!

11. What is the biggest obstacle you have had to overcome?

A:  This game is just pure hustle no matter what your resume' is. It counts for nothing. No one cares what you did or have done but what your doing right now this second, feel me? It doesn't matter I had a record label ten years ago or held the very first dj competition. Me and Riz from Crooklyn Clan were talking one day and he said you almost have to be a movie star to get a dj gig! Lol. He was right though.

12. Who were your influences growing up?

A:  Cash Money, Jazzy Jeff, Joe Cooley, Aladdin

13. Who would you like to share the stage with? Who have you shared the stage with?

A:  No one comes into my head off top that I would like to share the stage with as I have been very fortunate to play with many people over the years such as DJ Scene, DJAM, Jazzy Jeff, Cash Money, Spinna, Shadow, David Morales, Felix the house cat, Danny Krivit, Scracth, Flash, Bambatta, Roc raida, J Rocc etc. the list goes on and on man

14. Websites?
A:  www.soulgorilla.com and www.alloutkings.com

15. What else do you do besides DJ? And what are your typical working hours?

A:  I love what I do and in all honesty the dj game is not just the few hours you see me in the club. I spend days getting new music, doing remixes, producing, booking events, doing my radio show etc. It's really a 24 hour a day job.

16.  What has your experience on MySpace been like so far? How did you first heard of MySpace? Is there anyone or group of people that you would like to re-connect with? If so, who?

A:   DJ Scene put me up on myspace. I didn't know what it was and he suggested I use it as a way to let people know where I was playing.  The experince has been pretty good. You see people in a city somewhere and the next morning they are your myspace friend!

DJ SOUL - NYC

DJ SOUL

www.myspace.com/djsoulnyc

1. How long have you been djing and what inspired you to start?

..:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />..:NAMESPACE PREFIX = O />

15 Years... I go my first set up in June of 92...  Since a young age I was always intrigued by turntables and the art of spinning. I remember listening to Herbie Hancock's "Rock It" in the early 80's and trying to figure out what the scratching noise was. Once i saw what it was, i wanted to do it.

2. What do you think makes a good DJ?

Being able to mix. That's the first thing everybody should learn. If u can't do that then u shouldn't be doing this. U should also have an idea of what sounds good mixed together. The mash-up fad has killed me cause there are so many people doin mixes that aren't in key with each other and it sounds horrible. Another thing is being able to read a room and playing the right music for that crowd. If you can't rock the room then u shouldn't be in there unless it's a publicity stunt.

3. With the qualities stated in Question 2, who do you think is a good DJ?

Good question. It depends on the crowd. AM is always fun to listen to. So is DJ Camilo. He really hypes up a crowd.  So does Kid Capri... I enjoy DJ Scratch and Jazzy Jeff when they're doin the turntablist thing. A-trak is dope also. I enjoy his beat juggling sets. Z-Trip is fun as well and so is Questlove cause u don't know what they'll play next.

4. What's the most memorable experience in your DJ career?

There's so many...  I've had alot of fun nights at Bungalow 8 when I was a resident there. One week I would be in there playing R&B classics and Pat Riley ended up hanging out in the booth asking me to play Marvin Gaye and MJ. The next week Quentin Tarantino and The RZA would be up in there and I'd only spin breaks and 80's hip-hop and and the place would be nuts. Another night turned out to be the after party for the CFDA Fashion Awards. Diddy was there and caught me playing a classic's set, His people approached me about doin a mixtape for him. About a month later i sent him the mix and a few days later, I was in the studio with him helping him work on a few different projects.

5. What advice do you give to new djs that are pursuing a successful careerlike yours that you wish you had received when starting out?

U have to be focused, positive and patient. Don't let negativity get the best of you. Everything happens for a reason.

6. What are you currently working on?

Well, i just finished up this J Dilla tribute mixtape. The titled is "Assorted Donuts" and I did it in association with Okayplayer.  It's gonna be available as a free download on Tuesday, March 20th.

7.When can they see you live? What clubs coming up?

The calendar on my myspace page lists everywhere I'm spinnin so if someone is interested they can go there to find out. It's updated on a daily basis. This week I'll be in Miami spinning a few parties for Winter Music Conference. Wednesday I'll be at Sky Bar for the Frank 151 party and Thursday I'm doin "1992" (a party that I do in New York as a monthly party with my partners Vashtie and Oscar).

8. Tell us about your local music scene. Who are the top local artists?

Again, it depends on the market. One of the things about me is that I'm very versatile..I can go into Marquee in New York on a Saturday nite and play top 40 all night where Outfield and Bon Jovi are the biggest records of the nite and then the next day I can go to Atlanta and play crunk all night where Rich Boy and Young Jeezy are the biggest records of the nite.

9. What is a song that you hate to love ? (guilty pleasure)

That Pretty Ricky single. I hated that song the first 20 times I heard it and then I saw these guys perform it at Prive in Miami. All the ladies went nuts. After that, whenever I turned on the radio that song would be playing...

10. As a street marketing professional on the promotion side of the music industry, what suggestions do you have for independent or new  artists in creating a buzz for themselves? And how can they get to you?

To me, it's all about quality music. I has to come from the heart. If your production is good and you sound good on the record, then u might be on to something. Get as much feedback as possible. Find out ways to improve yourself. People can contact me here.

11. What is the biggest obstacle you have had to overcome?

Be able to deal with the politics...

12. Who were your influences growing up?

Red Alert and Marley Marl. Those 2 along with Kid Capri, Pete Rock, DJ Premier and Ron G really inspired me to do this. Whether it was rocking a crowd, scratching, doin an ill mix or producing a track, those guys are responsible. Also Ralph McDaniels from Video Music Box. That show was such a huge inspiration.

13. Who would you like to share the stage with? Who have you shared the stage with?

Hmmm... I wouldn't mind sharing the stage with Hova. I shared the stage with Dave Chapelle when I was the DJ for the first season of The Chapelle Show. I've also shared the stage with Ghostface, Beanie Sigel, The Beatnuts, Freeway, RZA & Dead Prez.

14. Websites?

www.djsoul.net

15. What else do you do besides DJ? And what are your typical working hours?

Production...  My hours vary depending on my schedule...

16.  What has your experience on MySpace been like so far? How did you first hear of it?

The experience has been dope. I can't remember how I first heard about myspace. I was a member when it first started in 2002 but I cancelled my account a year later. When I found out about the music account I got back on cause it's a great way to promote yourself and share your music.

1. How long have you been djing and what inspired you to start?

1)Ive Been djing for 10 years now. My neighborhood which I call
Shadyville (known as ...:NAMESPACE PREFIX = ST1 />Queens Village) inspired me to be the dj that I am
. I lived on Springfield blvd and 111th rd. As a young Haitian kid ,
rappers such as BIG,Tupac, and Nas used to hang on my block to get
beats from a producer/rapper known as Tall Stretch (RIP).

..:NAMESPACE PREFIX = O />

I used to see the young LL Cool J walk pass my block from Linden blvd to go to 34
park to play ball while Russsel Simmons would be hangin at the Chess
tables (trust me no chess was being played) .RUN DMC would constantly
ride around in my area with there Caprices flossing and countless
future ANRs and Label Execs  were on the come up like Steve Stoute and
my super young cousin Sha Money XL.My major inspiration was when I saw
DJ Clue chillin in all kinds of cars from doing mixtapes . With the
help of DJ Envy's homeboy Splash  I fastforwarded into the music game

DJ GQ (Miami)

DJ GQ

1. How long have you been djing and what inspired you to start?
11 years, My cousin Omar who wanted to start a Reggae Dj crew.

2. What do you think makes a good DJ?
Turntablism unfortunately isn't at its highest right now ,but all around, it's the package of Showmanship, Mic skills, Selection of music for your crowd and how you drop it, and knowing the music period!

3. With the qualities stated in Question 2, who do you think is a good DJ?
Well Me!...haha. Kid Capri

4. What's the most memorable experience in your DJ career?
DJing for Puffy and touring the Caribbean have been nice, but I guess MTV Romania has been at the top of my list for a bit.

5. What advice do you give to new Dj's that are pursuing a successful career like yours that you wish you had received when starting out?
Learn the music, even the music before your time. Play for the people in front of you, not for yourself. And last, Music in any way Dj, rapper, etc. is a full time Job. As a working Dj you need to put in the hours to network, keep jobs up and so on, not just arbitrary attention. A doctor doesn't practice medicine on just weekends. Nothing is easy, work for it.

6. What are you currently working on?
DJGQ "King of Clubz" the album! Coming soon!
and GQ 19 hosted by Pitbull (Mixtape). DJ GQ Presents Mr. Vegas, The Official Mix-tape is out now.

7.When can they see you live? What clubs coming up?
Well my residencies right now are, Voodoo Lounge Wednesdays, Hard Rock on Thursdays, Rodman's Rehab Fridays, Art Bar Saturdays and Rodman's Rehab Sundays all in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl,. I also Tour with Kevin Lyttle. Single GQ dates in other cities I couldn't tell you right now, but check my myspace page.

8. Tell us about your local music scene. Who are the top local artists?
Well Right now Dirte Red is Reppin' Broward County hard. Very talented.

9. What is a song that you hate to love ? (guilty pleasure)
"You are the Sun" by Lionel Richie. Ok I know that sounds left field, but I was playing in Anguilla (Small Island in the caribbean) for Christmas and new years, and a local band did it over. I hate to love it because I cant get it out of my head! Great song thoe…

10. As a professional in the music industry, what suggestions do you have for independent or new artists in creating a buzz for themselves? And how can they get to you?
Well first a game plan in pushing yourself, Mixtapes, bonding with Dj's, etc... Always pressure your local market first, then expand. Concentrate on one song to push at a time, don't push 10 tracks to the Dj's your already a underdog to because you are new. They can contact me at djgq@djgq.com or 1.866.411.DJGQ

11. What is the biggest obstacle you have had to overcome?
Biases in the business because I wasn't on radio. Now that I have a niche in my market it's different, but coming up its hard to compete with the names you know when your not established.

12. Who were your influences growing up?
Kid Capri and Stone Love.

13. Who would you like to share the stage with? Who have you shared the stage with?
No one, really. Shakira!...haha. I've been on stage with so many people: Black Eyed Peas, Puffy, Busta, Lauren Hill, Sean Paul, Elephant man, Jadakiss, Snoop Dogg, Slick Rick… Bla Bla. Too many and that's not naming my camp: Akon, Kevin Lyttle, Mr. Cheeks, Mr. Vegas, Junior Reid!

14. Websites?

15. What else do you do besides DJ? And what are your typical working hours?
That's what I do. Just DJ. I also own a CD Duplication company and I'm a partner in a printing company, but my hours are 9-5 that's 9pm to 5 am.. Wednesdays to Sundays.

16.     What has your experience on MySpace been like so far? How did you first heard of MySpace? Is there anyone or group of people that you would like to re-connect with? If so, who?

Well my PR dude Semp (Public Wizard, Inc.) put me on to myspace and set it up. Re-connecting with people on myspace is crazzzzy!!! I have friends from across the world reaching out to me. No one in mind right now I want to re-connect with, myspace solved all of that already.
