Super extra very busy
Category: Goals, Plans, Hopes
It's been a crazy month for me. I'm DJing at Backroom Saturday (12/15) at 107 Norfolk St at Delancey from 9:30 to 4:00. Come by and say hi if you're on the LES and want to spend some serious cheddar for a cocktail. The music will be low key, it's more luxurious speakeasy inspired lounge than hipster dance dive. I will not be spinning any hip hop as mandated by the mgmt.
In other news I've been hunkered down all week helping my friends from Invisible Conga People do a remix for Simian Mobile Disco. We're talking hours of protools slaving. My girlfriend's annoyed because I haven't been able to hang out in days! I'll link to it once it's up, that'll make it all worth it.
Also, I'm producing a NYE event in Greenpoint, Brooklyn for my friends at myopenbar.com. I will post more details as soon as I get them. Apparently there's going to be multiple rooms replete with DJs, bands, free booze and shenanigans.
On the production front, I'm doing a record that will be out this spring or summer with a great rap/comedy group from Portland called Alphabetix.
I'm also going to be doing tracks with the Former Fat Boys, MC Router, and a few remixes.
Also, I've learned that my instrumental album is available for download on Amazon. iTunes is going to take a few more weeks. I will make a proper post about that once it's all final.
Phew. More news soon, stay peaceful.
