Javi’s trip to Puerto Rico

Javier went down to Puerto Rico for a few weeks back in June/July.  Javier brought his new camera and started using it.  Here are some pictures from his trip.

Javier went to a flower show with his parents.  The show is the largest on the island and had displays as well as items for sale.  When they got there, there was a 40 minute storm that they had to sit through before they could go.

Javier's mother also bought an orchid.



I can't wait to go next year.

Gay Bingo - Philadelphia

Javier and I went to Gay Bingo with our friend Robyn, Anissa, and Ashley.  Here are the pictures I managed to take.  It was a little dark for my camera so the pictures aren't the best.

Gay Bingo (you can search for it here on myspace) is a charity event to benefit local HIV/AIDS organizations.

I feel like a witch

I started seeing a dermatologist in December for, in part, a few little warts I had on my one hand.  We started out with some rather mild treatment and progressed to freezing.  Unfortunately, the treatments seem to have only made them angry and as a result, they have spread.  Now the one is infected as I almost tore it off reaching into my pocket to get my wallet.  Ugh.

Now I'm going to go to another dermatologist for stronger treatment.  My doctor thinks these aren't responding because I  lost this clone of CD4 cells resulting in me having to have them physically removed in order to get rid of them.

Now, because you didn't ask, I'm posting pictures (prior to the infection because a pussy finger is just too gross).

new start

I'm starting my workouts and I'm posting this picture of me in my flabby state.  I don't know what I'll be in August, but it should be interesting.  No more oreos (well, maybe some).  I had a measurement done at work and I weighed 135lbs and had 12.9% body fat.  I'm told I should be 139lbs and have 15% fat.  I think I'm way too fat as it is.  Maybe it's because I have more than I ever used to (I think I was normally around 9% or so).  Anyway, this is the start and I'll see how the new routine goes.



At least my scars seem to be fading some.  I still don't have a normal bellybutton.  I guess I never will have one again.

what’s going on

Just a few things going on.

I've started a new workout routine with the goal of gaining one pound a week until we go on vacation in August.  That should bring me up to about 150 lbs.  I'm not sure if I'll be able to do it, but that's my goal and so far, based entirely on the pain, I'm going to make it.

Yesterday I ordered a new pair of glasses - bifocals actually.  How hip I'll be with my new frames.

My higlight of this morning is vomiting just outside the bus as my co-commuters look on.  Oh well, at least they got to see my hot ass as I bent over.
