DJ RAM & SD took part in Den Radio (The Day of the Radio Service) film

Mumiy Troll took part in Dmitry Dyachenko’s Den Radio (The Day of the Radio Service) film, shot after the Kvartet E’s theater play of the same name. Some of the new adventures of the heroes known from Den Viborov (The Day of Elections) film will be accompanied by the song Bermudi (The Bermudas): both the original version and Dj Ram’s and SD remix.
Mikhail Kozirev, the music producer of the film, says: «Working with Ilya Igorevich Lagutenko – and I say this without any paltering – is always a great pleasure. It’s hard to find an artist, who is so receptive to ideas, is their generator himself and finds such fun in adventures, and – what is amazing – doesn’t change a bit with years! He is as much into tricks and having a good time as 15 years ago! From this point of view, all the stages of the creative process that we pass through are always wonderful. He intuitively correctly knows what is appropriate for him and what is not, in what he will be good and in what he won’t, what he should deal with and what he shouldn’t. And I always pay attention to this. I’m in love with AMBA album that I still listen to from beginning to the end and I’m possessed with a desire to bring it to a listener. First of all I tried to bet on the song that is destined to be a hit. Ilya was properly dressed and provided with shoes and scarf, properly trimmed and his shooting became a real pearl. The rowdy hooliganism of the group members was properly reflected in the shooting: starting from a naked torso of the drummer to the handsome bass-guitar player, returning us to the times of San-Francisco hippie.

the forthcoming !distain single-cd "Mandragore" has entered the DAC (German Alternative Charts) on position 10. "Mandragore" track was produced by DJ RAM
on January, 25th, Synthphony Records release "Mandragore" the new !distain single-cd containing eleven tracks - eight of them have never been released before.

DJ RAM meets Alan Wilder (Recoil)

On the 1st of December, the head of Recoil project, Alan Wilder (ex Depeche Mode), visited Moscow, Russia
Alan Wilder made a special appearance and album presentation for the Russian release of the "subHuman" album by Recoil. There was a live appearance from the Russian band The Limelight and music courtesy of DJ O.K., DJ Z@lex and DJ Zaler. VJ AntiShanti provided video projection and exclusive prizes were given away courtesy of Gala Records.
During this presentation Alan Wilder met with DJ RAM.
First of all DJ RAM said a big thanks to Mr. Alan for support and for changing the young artists' life...
It was 7 years ago, at the end of 1999, at a time when DJ RAM worked only with Russian bands as a remixer and club DJ when he sent some of his works to Mr. Wilder and received a letter back with positive words about production and possible future cooperation.
The words of this letter gave DJ RAM confidence, and he began to contact foreign labels with his work. Many labels liked it, and he start to make remixes for artists from all around the world. After more remix releases with good feedback from many bands, labels, and listeners, DJ RAM started his own project called Virtual Server.
The idea was to invite vocalists from different bands and countries to work with DJ RAM's music and coordination to record album. (an idea similar to Alan Wilder's project, Recoil).
Currently, there are two albums released, two singles, and one EP by Virtual Server.
Thus the letter from Alan changed the life of DJ RAM. It has been 7 years engaged exclusively in music in its various directions - DJing, remixing, producing, and sound engineering.
Alan Wilder recognized DJ RAM and invited him to an album presentation in "Club Strangel" in Moscow.
The conversation was very interesting as RAM brought some CD's with his works and Alan was very interested in the music. The huge surprise for Alan was the DJ RAM remix of a Jezebel track. DJ RAM produced this remix together with the guitarist from the Russian band "Mechtat''" - Sergey Davidenko (SD). SD also was meeting with Alan Wilder. This remix may be published sometime in the future. Alan was very friendly, with an open personality and magnificent sense of humour. The dialogue was very informative for RAM as they talk about music, the electronic scene, and life in general. DJ RAM has received a huge creative charge from Alan, so much can now be expected in 2008!
DJ RAM Produces new album for German Band !distain

Synthphony Recordsis proud to present the release of a brand new !distainalbum. Germany's famous electro-pop-band has finished all songs for the fifth studio-recording in the history of the band. Three years after the release of "25 frames a second" and one year after "Synthphony REMIXed: !distain" the new album will be titled "Raise The Level".
"Raise The Level" contains eleven brand new tracks by Alexander Braun and Manfred Thomaser. Up to this the album contains a cover-version of "West End Girls" (Pet Shop Boys). "Raise The Level" has been produced by DJ Ram, Ingo Nordloh and !distain.
The first edition will be released as a double cd. The second cd is called "Mandragore e.p." and contains five previously unreleased remixes, the rare "Time Code Mix" of "History Forecast" and four new !distain songs.
