DOMMIN SIGNS TO ROADRUNNER RECORDS

ROADRUNNER RECORDS IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE SIGNING OF DOMMIN

New York, NY: Roadrunner Records is pleased to announce the signing of three eclectic,  up and coming new bands to an already diverse roster than includes heavyweights such as Nickelback, Slipknot, Killswitch Engage, Dragonforce, and Theory of a Deadman.  Roadrunner welcomes future hard rock stars Dommin, Mutiny and Port Amoral to the fold.

Los Angeles-based goth rock quartet Dommin was discovered by Dirty Icon Productions, a company founded by producers Logan Mader (former guitarist of longtime Roadrunner artist Machine Head) and Lucas Banker. Led by the enigmatic frontman, guitarist and songwriter Kristofer Dommin, Dommin puts a uniquely refreshing spin on the romantic, dark goth sound, bringing a unified voice to the brokenhearted, conflicted swarm of melancholic music fans who prefer not only to look at the glass as half-full but as cracked, too. Veteran A&R rep Monte Conner signed the band to the label and was quick to express his excitement, saying, "Dommin comes across as very fresh and unique in today's landscape. Kristofer Dommin is their secret weapon. His vocals are absolutely compelling, and this is especially evident live where you can feel the power, passion and emotion of every word he sings." Dommin's line up is rounded out by keyboardist Konstantine, bassist Billy James and drummer Cameron. Check out the swell of black-hued, stormy and mysterious goth rock and their video clip of fan favorite "My Heart, Your Hands" on the band's heavily trafficked MySpace page, viewable at www.myspace.com/dommin. Look for the band's Roadrunner debut, produced by Dirty Icon Productions this Winter.

DOMMIN - MEND YOUR MISERY REVIEW

Dommin is a massively smokin', rockin', alternative band from L.A. who deserves to be recognized, like the sun setting…breathtaking, unique, mind-blowing, undeniably special, and always something to look forward to with great anticipation. Dommin consists of lead singer/songwriter/guitarist Kristofer, Billy James, Konstantine and Stephen---huge talents…phenomenal artists!

"Mend Your Misery" features 12-tracks (the 12th is an untitled piece) of such achingly skin-tearing, pulse-twisting, soul-unraveling, blistering sensuality which explodes and highlights the creativity within the bands' massively individual talents. I now have my first gushingly favorite album of the New Year in my possession, and my prediction is it'll stay high on my favorites list for the year…and into the next! "My Heart, Your Hands", "Dyin' On The Radio", "Tonight", "Awake", "One Feeling", "You Can't Love", "Without End", "Drama Days", "Next Day Apologies", "The Scene", "I Still Lost", and the final untitled track is a haunting one…the piano tells such an extremely short, but sad story, so pure in sound, so very thought-provoking. There must be more, deep down within this song…there must be more.

For a debut album, Dommin's "Mend Your Misery" is exquisite. And if I were a record label---I'd have them signed, sealed, and deep-dipped in platinum selling records. Movie studios take notice too---Dommin have it all---talent, sexiness, personality, and a riveting style all their own. Whether they were to star in the film, create the music for the entire film, or lend their talents to the soundtrack, Dommin would be your band, in a solid, strong, and passionate heartbeat. I think I'm in serious overtime-crushing mode…I am. And I'm lovin' it! Thank you so VERY, VERY much Dommin.
