The literal "hometown" show
Hey everyone. I hope you're all doing well. We've got another show for all of you in the Los Angeles/Ventura area. We're playing at The Canyon Club in Agoura Hills on OCT. 30th. The literal "Hometown Show" being that I've lived here since I was 8 years old and still do as well as the rest of the guys. The tough decision for me will be whether to walk or drive to the show from my house. Anyways, I'd LOVE to see as many of you guys and gals as possible. Let's get our pre-halloween party on! I know it's gonna be a BLAST! After the show we can go take a tour of all the schools i went to. Nah, forget that. That'd be unbelievably boring. Let's just rock out. Spread the word and see ya there!
Best,
Doug Robb

Hola!
Just saying hola...
Hola everyone. Tomorrow we're off to Vegas to rock out. We play in the Student Union Courtyard at UNLV @ 4pm. Now I'm not sure what the weather is like where you are right now but here in Los Angeles, where I live, it was 101 degrees today. Now most people here in LA know that if it's hot here then it's even hotter in Las Vegas which is about a 4 hour drive away. What this all means basically is that we're going to be rocking out, outside, in the middle of the day in probably some insane heat. I hope we don't spontaneously combust. I'm going to go through a 5 gallon drum of water I bet. That being said, I hope everyone that lives close enough to Las Vegas will come rock out with us then hang out with us. It should be some good 'ol fashion sweaty ass fun. On a completely different note, I'm so STOKED the Dodgers won tonight. I'm a huge Dodgers fan (sorry to all the Cubs fans out there) and really thought they didnt have a shot against the Cubs. Now I'm thinking otherwise. GO BLUE!
See ya soon,
Doug Robb

hoobastank eve..........sort of
like xmas eve except no presents or fat guy coming down any chimney.
what's up people? just writing on this sunday night to let you all know how excited i am. tonight is an "eve" of sorts. like a hoobastank eve. we've been off from touring for over a year now. we've been writing, relaxing, have been in and out then back in studios, have experienced highs and lows and basically got to live our lives again for a moment. tomorrow will be the beginning of the next chapter for hoobastank. the fourth chapter to be exact. it marks the official start of us returning to the road. what does that mean really? it means radio, video, internet, tours, interviews, tv shows, photo shoots and whatever else we're lucky enough to do. it means the hoobastank machine is officially starting up tomorrow. it'll take a second for it to get up to speed but it will eventually i promise you. it's the beginning of another journey for us and we're so thankful and honored that you the fans would want to come along. without you guys, we're just four dudes playing music at each other but with you guys, all together, the sky's the limit. so that being said, i hope to say hello personally to as many of you as i possibly can tomorrow at The Wiltern in Los Angeles. if you can't make it, don't worry there'll be other shows to come. thanks for being so patient. this is just the beginning.
sincerely,
doug robb
