Last night I caught up with the Bouncing Souls and Dead to Me in Long Beach for a show at Alex’s Bar. The 150-200 in attendance were seriously some of the luckiest people in SoCal. The place was packed and there was a good amount of Draven DP’s in the crowd.
The crowd was totally into Draven, Brian the bass player had to seriously fight people off trying to get to the merch table to deliver more stickers. People were literally taking the DP stickers out of his hands.

Swedish heavyweight titans, *SOILWORK*, will be returning to North America as direct support to *THROWDOWN* this February/March! Joining them on what has been dubbed *"The Scum of the Earth"* tour are *THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD* and *WAR OF AGES*. These billboard charting Swedes have been touring tirelessly (aside from a little holiday gluttony) since the release of *"Sworn to a Great Divide"* last October. The band shows no signs of letting up and vows to tour even more throughout 2008! Vocalist *Björn "Speed" Strid* recently offered this message to all the fans and soon to be converts:
"What up everyone!? *SOILWORK* has risen once again from all the Xmas/New Year's decadence (including too much Swedish herring, amber ales and what not). We're ready to strike North America once again together with *THROWDOWN*, *THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD* and *WAR OF AGES*. It's going to be a long tour and as you can see by the tour schedule, it will cover a lot of cities. *SOILWORK* sold 5,000 copies of its new album, *"Sworn to a Great Divide"*, in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 148 on The Billboard 200 chart.
