At the moment I am working with my webmaster to redesign the drawn4u.com layout and soon have a new look to my website!

Funny?

It was a great weekend. Took my wife and daughter to luch on Saturday and then that night I was drawing at a wedding. The evening went great and was so very funny when the bride fell off her chair after I showed her the caricature I had just drawn! She was smashed and ended up crashing into my easel with her legs up in the air and laughing!

Sometimes these moments are like treasure!

Sunday was cool, had a stand at a wedding farye and it was very busy with lots of people. Had some bookings which was very cool!

Be a lover of life

So many friends in Orlando asked me why I seem to be always happy and so positive! Well I simply have found my place in life and it has given me peace and joy. To know yourself and know that you are loved by others is just so cool. Of course I have my moments, like anyone else but all in all I have found peace and happiness and that is the reason behind my joy!

Far away!

OK, it was awesome! First I flew out to Orlando and spent some time with some very close friends and had the chance to draw in Disney for a couple of days, go shopping and hang out! Then the convention for caricature which was cool and met up with many friends I have not seen for over a year! Made some new friends which was very cool. Also got elected to the Board for the NCN and I am now officially the European Ambassador!

Arrived home safe n sound and on the same day was drawing at a wedding reception, entertaining the guests and went down really well!

Next morning up and off to Austria with my wife and friends for a weekend city break in Graz! We met Rick Wakeman (Keyboard player of YES) at Stansted Airport while we were waiting for our flights, he was off to Scotland!

I shall be seeing Rick in concert in a few weeks!

Had a fab time and it was really cool!

Back to work and everything, still busy which is great!

Yep, I have a cold and sore throat! Still carrying on as work is important and I don't no sick pay...LOL! Hope it clears up in the coming week ready fo rmy Florida trip, want to be 100% for that!

College kids

This week I am drawing with my local college for their FRESHERS WEEK events on campus.

As soon as I arrive and draw my first caricature, everybody wants one which is great! I am pumping them out left, right and centre! Great fun but exhausting!

Some of the female students all appear to have the same hair style and almost look like each other, thats tough when you are trying to make each caricature unique!

Still, I am Mister popular, so thats just fine with me!

Survival

Got through the weekend alive! Saturday nights wedding was a blast and everyone loved the caricatures although one couple came up to me as I was packing away, nearly half an hour over time, and asked if I could draw just one more, had to say no, always hard but I could be there all night if I just kept doing the one more scenario.

Sunday was OK, had a 40th Birthday Party that went really well and then straight onto a wedding aftwards. The wedding was fun and I was in great demand, non stop drawing but finished on time, phew!

Drawing at our local college all this week as its their Freshers week and they like to use me to provide a little something different for the students. Should be fun as the weather today is set to be a hot one! WoW!

Busy? Me?

Well starting today with a wedding to draw at, I shall be drawing every single day for the next week, which is great as I shall be earning money that is needed for my Florida trip in 2 weeks! Weddings and corporate gigs to entertain at. A chance to meet more interesting people, cool eh! Stonehenge in the picture and for the record, I am NOT as old as those stones! No sir!
