NEW ORLEANS

I don't even know what to say. Almost 3 years after Katrina devastated that place, they are evacuating the city in anticipation of MORE devastation. We played a really great show at House of Blues in N.O. with MCR and Billy Talent. It was a tour high light. An amazing city! I just can't imagine the people of New Orleans having to face it again. Many people are still re-building their homes and lives. Any of you who have homes or families in NO...our thoughts and hopes that it will escape this thing are with you. Everyone else...maybe you can offer up ideas about what we (all of us) can do to help. Right now, i just can't believe it.

Postcards From the Road

We we're talking and realized we could barely remember when email and the internet didn't exist...and how cool it used to be get a letter or a postcard in the mail..so we decided we'd like to pick up a pen again and put down the keyboard (at least for a second).

That being said, we'd like to try something new with you guys...we're going to call it "Postcards from the Road". Once a week, while on tour, we are going to pick a random fan who we will send a postcard with stories of our travels and adventures from the road. The winner will be announced in a video posted on our site so make sure to check back to see if it's you. To enter, email contest@drivebyworld.com with your name and mailing address. Once entered you will be eligible to win all future drawings for "Postcards From The Road". One winner will be selected at random every week during the duration of the contest.

The chat was alot of fun for us. We will be doing this again next week from the road. We start a tour that will take us south and have us in Florida for a week with VersaEmerge.
