Final Blog
It's been awhile, and to be honest, there's a fairly decent reason for the lack of communication between everyone here. There's nothing to discuss. I'm dissapointed with the way things have turned out for this brand. The "New ECW" will continue to entertain many fans as the wrestlers involved continue to work hard everynight. However, over the past few months, the brand has become, to myself, unwatchable. Many have shared such frustrations via comments or messages. Some of which I have defended, some of them I agreed with. The realization that we would never see the "Old ECW" was evident very early on. There's no comparison between the two shows. I attempted to give the new brand a chance and suddenly find myself skipping shows. Enough said on that matter.. This MySpace page has become work instead of fun. Consider it dead.
I've had the pleasure of speaking to many of you. For those who wish to keep in touch, I'll do my best to check the mail on this account whenever possible.

policy suspensions
This is in response to the messages and whatnot that I've come across online. the 'wwe wellness policy' was seemingly put together due to necessity in the world of pro wrestling. fans should have the right to comment on any issue that they please. however, at the same time, i strongly believe one should also be respectful by doing research before making false allegations. the wwe has stated that they will not release names of the individuals who were suspended. this won't be the case if anyone gets caught after november 1, 2007. it is not illegal to have a prescription. many wrestlers get injured, and part of their rehab does involve prescription medication. taking advantage of that situation is a whole other story though. nobody reading this will know everyone who is 'innocent' and who is 'guilty' for sure. so why not stop the messages and stop the posts naming names of wrestlers who might be innocent or guilty? would you like to be falsely accused of something? i'm sure it's even worse when you're in the public eye. not only do you have millions of people reading your name and branding you, but you also have that brand with you for the rest of your career.
a lot of wrestling sites are posting constant updates on who is and who isnt suspended. do you honestly believe that its out of concern for the wrestler(s) themselves? or do you think its to help create web traffic to their site, or even in some cases, generate $ for their website. all im trying to say is try (we're human, i understand that it's difficult, i'm far from perfect myself) not to pass judgment before knowing all the facts.
i was going to lock comments on this blog, but feel as though if im entitled to my opinion, everyone else should be as well.
