THE BAND IS DONE!!

When God tells you to lay something down, do it! We have been seeking God on the direction He wanted the band to go and today it has been confirmed that He wants us to end it. So it is done, we thank everyone who has supported us and we are sorry for disappointing those of you waiting for a new CD that will not come.

CD update

So we said the new CD would be out March 31, well its not going to happen. As with a lot of things with our band, stuff does not happen as quick as we would like. Our new goal for the release is middle of May but don't be surprised if that changes. We want this CD to be the best we can make it, we will not rush things just to make a deadline.

Recording new CD

So guess what, we are currently working on our next CD. We have been at it for some time now, writing and learning songs and then relearning songs. But tonight we will finaly begin to record something! Our goal is to have the project done by the end of March, I will keep you updated on our progress.

We got crushed

The last blog was quite cryptic so I'll spell it out plain for you. Two years ago we quit our jobs to try and do the band thing full time. We felt God wanted us to do this and that we were ready to "take it to the next level". We got crushed financially, spirtually and sometimes physically. So did we hear God wrong? No. Were we ready? No. God taught us so much through failure we can't thank him enough for it. Big lessons: Have faith that God is working through you even if you can't feel Him or He feels far away. PAIN and HARDSHIP build character. God wants His workers to have great character.

The last two years
Current mood: contemplative

Marcel here, Thought I would let people know what we have been doing the last couple years. This can be summed up in a few words. We started with a feeling of EXPECTANCY which soon turned into STRUGGLE. Then that put us right in the middle of the WILDERNESS (I mean this figuratively but it actually happened as well) where we stayed for a long time. During that time other words that stick out personaly for me are, WEARINESS, NUMBNESS, SADNESS, but the most important words for all of us over the last two years are LEARNING, FAITH, and GOD IS WITH US!
So there you have it, two years of my/our life.
