Art Theatre *where music meets art*
Erotikon is a show where music meets Art, Dance, Cabaret, Poetry, all with the theme of eroticism.
In several rooms (The Chapel, The Vault, The Dungeon, The Attic), different performing arts will be shown throughout the evening & night such as music composed by Erhan Kurkun and a unique concert by Maurice Engelen with Pianiste Thillaine, bodypainting, dance, poetry and fashion shows with lingerie designed by Marlies Dekkers, La Fille d'O and Catchu2bekinky.........
We will not cross the line, your proper mind can and will do so. The right balance between Art and Musique!

Erotikon on National Television ( VRT )

At the press conference last Monday, there was a crew from "De Rode Loper",
a program on national television (VRT) about showbizz, culture and lifestyle.
The preview was broadcast last Friday on the VRT. Click here to see the reportage.

MySpace and arty images

When returning from the after-party ( press conference ), we found a message from MySpace in our Inbox, saying that they have deleted some of our images.
Apparently, the mods at MySpace can't see the difference between Art and Porn. Just wondering, what they would do if we would post an image of one of the paintings of Pieter Paul Rubens ;-))
I think Christophe summarized it very well in his comment:
"Sorry about your pictures, Tom probably never went to a museum, to a church, to central africa, or read Georges Bataille (he must have seen some porn though). But that's ok: I would not know about you if not for myspace."
So, we've set-up a small portfolio outside of MySpace for you to enjoy some of the artwork Erotikon is producing, together with some preview images of the show.

Choreography for the Erotikon theatre show

De choreografie voor de Erotikon theater show is in handen van Marc Bogaerts.
Marc Bogaerts bracht eerder Praga Khan, Walter Van Beirendonck en het Koninklijk Ballet van Vlaanderen samen voor de productie 'Not Strictly Rubens'.
De Vlaming vergaarde wereldwijde faam als één van de meest vooraanstaande eigentijdse en creatieve geheelontwerpers.
Hij werkte als choreograaf onder meer al met het Ballet van Vlaanderen, The Royal Danish Ballet, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Deutsche Staatoper, Joffrey Ballet, Wasingthon Ballet en Cirque Du Soleil.

La chorégraphie d'Erotikon sera fait par Marc Bogaerts.

Marc Bogaerts est un des plus marquants chorégraphes contemporains.
