New CD and new single Tattered Wings released to radio 11/1 2008
Since august I have been working with my new CD Hill Songs, and it has been so fun! We thought we were going to do a quiet simple live recording and then just add some tracks.... Well that was not what happened. When we listened to the live recordings we did on three gigs in Uppsala we found out that we needed to redo alot of the songs from the ground. It has been quiet a journey and working with wonderful Coste Apetrea as a producer has been a pleasure! But it took a while! Now finally all the pieces are coming together, my new Singel Tattered Wings is released to the radio and 13th of january Hill Songs will be released to the music stores in Sweden. Soon you will be able to download Tattered Wings for free on my website: www.evahillered.se I wrote Tattered Wings on Gotland May -07 together with Ben Bedford. I do not know what it is with that song, but I always feels so happy when I sing it. Ben and I were participating in a Songwriting retreat on Gotland and both of us really fell in love with the song, it feel so great that it is recorded and out in the world.
I hope you will like it and that you get the message - it does not matter if your wings are a bit tattered, if your love is strong enough you can fly anyway - see you out there!!
