My first TV commercials

Jake Stevens and the Strangers play Festival of the Arts

Hello, all!

This Sunday will be my last bass-playing gig for a while. Jake is collaborating with a new guitar player and I might re-join them at some point in the future, but I don't want to spread myself too thin for theatre/film projects, which I am lucky and excited to be working on.

Speaking of which, my next play will be "Tuesdays With Morrie" at Circle Theater from August 21 - September 6. I'll be bugging all of you to come see that in due time, but for now...

Come see us play music on Sunday! I'm not certain which stage we'll be playing, but get down there a few early (say...1:30pm?) and you'll find us just fine.

I have decided to re-position myself back in Grand Rapids for a time.  How long a time?  I am not at all certain.  What I AM certain of is my desire to re-group, re-charge, and remind myself of the things that make me the happiest, that make every cell of my being smile and leap like a careless child.

 So, that's what I'll be up to.  8)

My audition!

So...

I just went to my first audition in over two years and it was exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time!

I really want this part; I want it so bad I can taste it!!

It's out of my hands now, so I just have to sit back and try to relax because I know I did my best. 

That's all we can do, isn't it?  Our best?!
