New and finished versions of songs up
Category: Music

Hey gang, I just finished mixing down all of the songs for the new album I’ve been working on which will hopefully be released in May.  I’m really happy with the quality of the work and feel that the hundreds of hours spent on it have paid off.  They’re are new and also completed songs up on my music page now.  If you’d like a burned copy let me know.  If not then wait until May.

Peace and love,
Tyler

Lookin for some help peoples. . .
Category: Music

Hey there everyone. . . Sometimes, as an artist, one needs to ask others for help promoting their work. Now is that time. I’m looking to make a street team before I attempt to put out my newest works. I’ve spent about five hundred plus hours working on a new album and while I do not expect to be famous. . . I need to generate some interest. Also I need a way to find some decent gigs to play, and currently, I have nothing going on. The area I live in is dead as hell, and so I need your help to promote my music to anyone and everyone. What this would entail is recieving copies of my newest recordings, which no one has ever heard. . . because I’m sort of waiting for the right moment and since there is nothing going on. . . right now is not that moment. The proposition is that you would recieve like 10 copies of my work at a time as you need it, and I would ask that you hand them out to anyone interested in folk/jazz/blues/indie rock/ etc. Another part of the task would be helping me find places to play some shows. I am in desperate need of getting my music heard, and so I’m not too proud to beg for anyone’s help. I don’t have much to offer in return. Just some nice little jams. I’d really appreciate your help.

Peace and love,
Tyler

PS. If you know anywhere within a four or five hour drive of central Pennsylvania I could play some gigs. . . please do let me know.

Got An Accordian
Current mood: artistic
Category: Music

Hey everyone. . . I got an accordian and have been incorporating it into my folkrock.  Go to my music page myspace.com/tylerheitzman and check out the song "If I Come Up Short Again."  Everyone was always really chill about giving feedback for my writing.  I’d be grateful to hear what all of you think of my music.

Peace and love,
Tyler

I’ve Been There Stanley
Current mood: blah
Category: Writing and Poetry

Fragile,
in the hands of the godhead
we see a black moon rising slow.

But she will come to us,
and comfort us, perhaps.

Though, I guess she will not.

We are abandoned souls,
or soon will be this. . .

left alone to walk,
and build these roads
much faster than in unison.

I am that little dog
pissing on the yellow

fire-hydrant in
front of your house.

For Posession and Confectionary Hell
Current mood: stressed
Category: Writing and Poetry

For Possession

They found me
drinking turpentine

at four in the
afternoon.

"I'm clean now,

I promise!

in more ways than one,"

I said with eyes
bulging a blissful,

and burning red.

I'll never have to wait around
for anyone again.

Confectionary Hell

I had been no
sort of cephalopod,

never thinking
on my feet.

It's as if god
were busy pouring

bacteria into these
manmade wounds.

And I'm always
blaming him, or someone else

for my own shortcomings,
and random intoxications.

What confectionary
hell is this?

I've grown fatter by the day,

when I used to be
such a skinny child,

and many more things were
right with the world

than there are now.

I've been going through a really hard time, but anyways still writing I guess.  Trying to work hard on some music.  I'd definately appreciate some feedback on the new jams on my music page at myspace.com/thehitlersuicide.  Hope everyone is doing better than I am right now.

Peace and love,

Tyler
