Last few days...

The last few days are approaching.

I'm almost done creating and the LP keeps spinning.

A week left of vocals - a week til its over.

I'm homeward bound with a pocket full of new voices.

Electric yellows sprinkled with enthusiastic colors of blue.

I'm off to see the wizard.

Yabadabadoo!

Hey so I'm out here in foxy LA and I'm feelin' super pumped!
Days have been moving smoothly. Everyday I wake up , run up and down this seriously GIGANTOR hill (my daily workout) - indulge in a totally yummified breakfast and then I grab my pup Pepper and we head to the studio!
What more could a girl ask for? ;)
We have just started tracking drums and they sound crazy ! I am very pleased! The first two songs we've been messin with are In Your Touch and Black Haired Boy. I'm pretty sure we're starting guitars on those babies tomorrow.
The studio I'm recording in is mad chill. Its called Audio Virus X. It has a great vibe and the dude that runs it and shiz is "the man" Ha ! Honestly Dean..you da man!
Ohhhh the other thing thats great about the studio is...Wii !!!!!! I love bowling!!!
I just finally got to the pro level and seriously when that happened for me I was in Wii heaven. I need to be better at gettin all strikes so I can whoop some major bum!

Hmmm what else?... I looove sushi! Ha! Random I know, but there are some fab sushi places here in Hollyweird! I think I eat it almost everyday. But I gotta stop talkin about it or Ima get greedy and want it like...NOW! mmmmm

Well me and my sassy doggy are gonna get ready for bed. I need to be good and fresh for tomorrow so I can make some hot music! Talk to you all soon xxxxxx !

Birthday bash!

Hey everyone!!
I just want to thank you all for the birthday love!!!! I had a great day and the perfect party with all my closest friends!!

This was my first year I got to celebrate my bday with my daddy. Let me tell you, it was a great feeling. My pops and I are back in each others lives and I am so glad we are. I am learning so much about myself that I really never knew before. All my life basically I grew up without a father but now at 23 I am giving this relationship a chance. I guess all good things really do happen in time. I think I just had to wait , grow up a bit and hear his side of the story. As humans we are automatically not perfect - we make mistakes (God knows I have) so I can not hate him. All I can really do is open my heart and be his friend. It will take me a minute to actually see him as my father but I have a feeling one day I will.

The Right Stuff

Hello hello hello!

Wud it do everybody? wud - it - do? ha
I thought it was about time to write a new blog , tell ya'll whats up!
I am excited about the holidays but im mostly stoked about jan since im relocating to Los A for a bit to completely finish my album! I think ill be living there for a bit so im going to try and spend my weekends on venice beach. I just adore the venice vibe. :)
Oh and if any of you go there, check out the drum circles! very cool.

Anyways Dave lichens and i will be rockin out in Hollywood, slavin away to get this record into your hands!
I will keep you posted on the recording process, and whatever else tickles my fancy!

IN LA UNTIL THE THIRD OF JULY!!

Right now im in La working on my album. Im trying to get this baby finished...im stoked and alittle tired. Im in the lobby of some Marriot typing away using their free internet - but hey, whos complaining... its free! And I LOVE free things! But anyways the reason im kinda tired is cause i need to sleep! Im on la time right now but as most of you know, im a toronto girl so really its like 2am there...which makes me feel like crashing and snuggling a nice soft pillow! :)

Most of you have probably seen my pics from the MMVA's and let me say i had a great time dressin up! Gucci never felt better! ha! (www.vintagecouture.com) There are actually more photos from that night i need to put up...and i will get to that as soon as i can! promise!
