Ferry Corsten is one of the most in-demand and successful DJ's in the world, with fiercely dedicated fans known to follow him from city to city and gig to gig. But within the close-knit international DJ community, he's regarded as something more: a studio, auteur with a fierce sense of sonic rightness; a real-deal producer creating the most complete, lavish, melodic records in dance music. In his sixteen year production career Corsten is one of the most prolific and successful dance artists in the market today.

With tons of releases, remixes and compilations, countless gold discs, numerous awards, nine artist albums under his belt and travelling the globe back and forth to feast audiences with his flawless DJ sets, the time had come to take on a new challenge. In collaboration with Dutch organisation UDC Events, Ferry Corsten presented "Full On Ferry – Masquerade" on the 27th of October 2007 in Ahoy, Rotterdam. An event which captured virtually the entire electronic spectrum, from sexy house to infectious electro and rough techno, with melodic trance trying it all together.

Taking of the masks of his alternate identities which he preciously used for many releases in the past symbolizes the broadening of Corsten's musical horizons, explain the theme 'Masquerade' to the fullest. During Full On Ferry, his musical philosophy was optimally translated into sound, image, atmosphere and decoration, supported by internationally acclaimed artists like Erick E, Fedde Le Grand, Cosmic Gate, Christopher Lawrence, Dogzilla, Secret Cinema vs. Grooveyard and rising trance star Breakfast. A handful of world-class DJ colleagues, handpicked by Corsten personally.

This live registration DVD reflects Corsten's versatility and his current musical vision, during what easily could be the very best gig in his impressive and successful career so far.

FULL ON FERRY 2008: Date announced!

PURMEREND, April 17th 2008 - "I've always had an uncontrollable urge to innovate. As soon as I feel that something is beginning to become predictable, I want to change it, renew it, mix it with something different."

That is the attitude of one of the most successful and respected DJ/Producers of our time; Ferry Corsten. Last year he laid down an unforgettable night with 'Full On Ferry' in the Ahoy stadium Rotterdam, together with the organisers at UDC.

The spectacular sets by Christopher Lawrence, Fedde Le Grand, Cosmic Gate, the now-legendary Dutch debut of Breakfast, and of course Ferry, who blasted the stars from the heavens, made this party great. The flying DJ booth, the amazing laser shows and the thousands of people with Venetian masks in absolute ecstasy made the party legendary.

Ferry has always differentiated himself with a unique and broad dance sound. Trance is the common line, but he also has influences from the most diverse trends such as progressive, electro and house. Last years' party was characterised by a strong musical build-up, in which each artist (like Ferry himself) was able to express an individual and unique sound.

On Saturday, 1 November 2008, this amazing party will finally have a sequel. That night, dance fans from all over the world will congregate in Rotterdam's Ahoy for the next edition of 'Full On Ferry'.

Ferry's unstoppable drive for innovation and perfection, combined with the expertise of the organisers at UDC, will together ensure that the party will surpass its predecessor in every possible way!

Ferry Corsten featuring Howard Jones - Into The Dark out now! 
For the track 'Into The Dark' on his L.E.F. album, Ferry Corsten teamed up with the famous singer Howard Jones. Howard wrote the beautiful lyrics and he delivered the awesome vocal for the track. The album version, a special Ferry Fix and a smashing Breakfast remix are available at Beatport already. But very recently Ferry decided to make a special Ferry Dub Fix as well, which is out on Monday February 11!

Ferry to do spectacular opening Idols this Saturday!

On October 27  2007 Ferry Corsten performed for 9 hours on the 'Full On Ferry' event in the Ahoy concert stadium in his home city Rotterdam (NL). Ferry was hosting this party together with Dutch party organisation 'UDC'. During the night Ferry got musical help from special guests such as Breakfast, Cosmic Gate, Fedde Le Grand,  Erick E, Dogzilla (live!), Christopher Lawrence,  Simon Patterson, Secret Cinema vs. Grooveyard and singer Denise Rivera on vocals!

A special 'Full On Ferry' DVD with all the highlights will be released at the end of this month! More information about this DVD can be found already in the diary section on Ferry's website!

Take three DJs, add one very pretty artist, take a major hit and what do you get? A sure-fire recipe for success! At Samsung's request, Ferry Corsten, Armand van Helden and Felix da Housecat entered an equally promising alliance with Nelly Furtado, the Canadian singer who won the best album prize at last year's MTV Awards. The result was three completely revamped versions of the hit single 'Do It' from Nelly's best-selling album 'Loose' (more than eight million copies sold to date!). Public Enemy vs Ferry Corsten – Bring The Noise out now!
In the last few years of the 80's Public Enemy were the absolute bomb with their controversial lyrics and aggressive sounds. They have written rap history with tracks like 'Bring The Noise and 'Give It Up'. Ferry Corsten was granted permission by Public Enemy foreman Chuck D. to make a dance remix of 'Bring The Noise'. Chuck D. was very pleased with the result:

Chuck D.: "Bring The Noise is a perfect track to experiment with. Like a real 'scientist', Ferry Corsten has used all the elements to make it an ultimate mix".

Ferry Corsten's remix of 'Bring The Noise' will appear in stores worldwide. The Dutch release can be found on Ferry's own label 'Aleph Recordings' and it's available now on Beatport! Check Ferry's Myspace to listen to the radio version of this amazing remix! The Dutch CD single release is available as well now!

Ferry Corsten chosen as most popular Dutch DJ!

Yesterday DJ Ferry Corsten was announced as most popular Dutch DJ at the Nightlife Award Gala in club 'The Matrixx' in Nijmegen during the SLAM!FM DJ Award 2007. The past few weeks listeners from SLAM!FM could vote at slamfm.nl for their favourite DJ. Ferry Corsten was announced as the winner from the voting!

DJ / producer Ferry Corsten can look back at a very successful year. His 2 CD's singles 'Beautiful' and 'The Race' were both chosen as GrandSlam and during the summer they entered the Dutch Top 40 as well. Three weeks ago Ferry Corsten hosted the first and very successful edition of 'Full On Ferry' in the Rotterdam Ahoy. A DVD registration from this amazing event will be released soon as well.

The Heineken Nighlife Awards is a yearly ceremony that's been organised by Nightlife Magazine. Besides SLAM!FM Best DJ Award 2007 awards for the best clubs in The Netherlands were announced as well.
