Goodbye 2006..Eyes wide open in 2007

Here i go..My personal and business life in review...I still can't believe 2006 is coming to an end in 2 days..Im sort of sad ,yet yearning  to start 2007......new possibilities!!

In retrospect life has been good,yet filled with some scary moments.

This year I came to understand its ok to be single...Put myself first..In the past it has been a struggle*sigh* I got to get to know myself a lot better...I realize I have so much to offer...When the relationship with yourself is strong..you know your heart, and mind are ready and willing to be with others..

had a scare with my dad and grandmas health....dad had to get an operation to remove some growth from his kidney...everything is ok..he goes back for a checkup in a few months...grandma had a scary fall and broke her wrist and lots of bruising..( she refuses to walk with her cane) My grandma is an amazing 93 yr old who is still strong in mind and spirit!

I saw many of my friends give birth to new life....babies are a joy..Their innocence gives hope...Their spirits renew our love..their laughter make our hearts sing..their tears make our heart feel pain ,you want to make them feel better...Every step they take..we know we have done a good job raising them...

a few setbacks in my triathlon training :( :(  You can be assured in 2007 I will start training again!!! (Cant wait to put that wetsuit on.. hee hee hee)

reconnected with many friends from high school....and a few from college...Its so nice to reminiscence ...happy memories that will always be with me...defintely priceless...

Had a scary moment with my dog...he has been with me for 16 years :)  he had to get a tumor removed from his testicle... He is back to his normal doggie self...

I was so happy to launch the FineFacetssf.com website...this was an accomplishment that made my hard work pay off!!!

a few travel plans in stored for 2007!!!! yes a well deserved vacation!!!  yay!!!!!

and of course ..to all my wonderful friends here on myspace... Thank you for  your friendship...All of you who I talk to often are truly talented and bring my life new meaning...I value our conversations,thoughts and you....Your visions and thoughts are a gift! I love all of you...CHIP,SARAH HANSON, B,DANIELLE,AMY F..CHRISTMAS(thank you for your wonderful quotes).....you are my superstars!!!!I look forward getting to know more of my friends ...

My new years celebration will be down in LA...Visiting a friend and partying in dowtown..Dancing to some great Djs..(Sasha,John Digweed,Ferry Corsten...Armin Van Buren) dance...dance...dance...feel the music...let the music move me!!!

Im pissed

Grrrrrrrrrrr.... Yesterday afternoon I was busy with a customer...A lady walked into my store and proceeded to try on this beautiful handmade necklace...(Sarah Hansons's lovely work)

She tried it on......As I was helping the customer I was already with...Suddenly I hear something fall on the floor...It breaks...She does not say anything..she slams the necklace back on the display and quickly walks out....

~so rude...at least she can let me know....

I understand accidents happen....but the approriate and kind thing to do is accept responsibility... Im sure she got scared, that I might yell...

~Being a business owner I try to be patient and helpful to people...There is such a thing as class between consumer and business owner...My mom taught me well... I would have told her it wasnt her fault and tried to have reassured her...

I was just reflecting on one of my favorite high school classes ~Psychology

My teacher Mr leach was so intelligent and inspirational.. and I learned so much...thats when i decided to major in psychology....

One of our high school projects was to think about death and write what would be on our tombstone....

Makes you wonder ...hmmm how would you live your life....how would people see you as a person after you have passed...death is inevitable...its scary..but its how you live and the way you were as a person that is important~ YOUR LEGACY

Giving Hope and Support

Charities...... There are thousands to choose from.. it boggles the heart and mind... How do you choose? Thats a hard question you must ask yourself...

Some people may not like giving because they continually ask for support..Thats because they really do need help one way or another......lets face it people and animals and our earth need as much help as possible.... We are all precious and fragile...Even giving one time to a charity makes you feel good....if its hard to spare some money give your time or spread the word to friends and family..... We all must stay postive and hopeful....

Its hard for me to turn away from issues like aids, child abuse, pollution,hunger, cancer...animal abuse... Believe it or not....This effects everyone...We are all connected as humans!!!

I first got seriously involed with a charity 2 years ago... The Leukemia&Lymphoma Society.... I raised money and ran a marathon... This experience forever changed my life....I knew i could do something..

I met a 6 year old girl who had leukemia, and it brought me to tears.. she had to go to chemo almost everyday...A child she be playing outside instead of enduring this kind of pain.....

Cheerish everyone around you...be kind to friends,family and strangers...We all may need help one day.....
