Terror Attack Foiled
Category: News and Politics
The Bush administration today said that in 2002 it had foiled an attack by al Qaeda that would have devastated Los Angeles for years.
The attack, planned at the highest levels and possibly approved by bin Laden himself, would have recruited Asian men to fly kites into the trees and shrubbery of Los Angeles, creating headaches that would have gone on for years.
"These weren't the triangular kites I used to fly as a boy," Bush was quoted, "but rather the sinister square kites that require a lot of wind and the ones I just never knew how to fly. These were to be evil kites."
The al Qaeda plan was simple enough: recruit more than 100 Asians to fly more than 100 kites, using the Santa Ana winds to wreak havoc on city parks by intentionally flying the kites into trees. The resulting devastation would have required hundreds of man hours to remove the twisted, tangled strings from tree limbs, making it all but impossible for tourists to get their pictures taken in the natural beauty of one of the nation's most polluted cities.
Bush was smiling when he said that other attacks had also been foiled, such as the go-kart freeway racing in Chicago and New York, and a sadistic plot to hijack price guns and mark up all Wal-Mart items by ten cents, thereby driving its regular customers insane.
"This just proves why we no longer need the Constitution and Bill of Rights in the United States," Bush said. "The Patriot Act more than covers the needs of every law abiding American."
Critics said that Bush had gone mad with power and questioned what would happen if an innocent American were targeted and prosecuted under the Patriot Act's provisions, which do not provide any of the rights associated with the visions of our Founding Fathers. Bush then had those critics charged as terrorists under the Patriot Act and they have not been heard from since.

War on Drugs = War on Terror
Current mood: A Bit Tired
Category: A Bit Tired News and Politics
Last week, while I was in the process of keeping the US Government from taking my life by means of torture, a thought suddenly struck me: Our "war on terror" is as real as our "war on drugs," which we all know is a fallacy.
The War on Drugs should be called "The War on People who use Drugs." After all, if the US was really serious about stopping a war then the war would have been won long ago. But since wars mean money and the US has invested billions into the War on Drugs, without making any sort of dent into stopping the flow of drugs into the US, the only result has been in the number of people put into prison for using drugs. That's not the definition of a war.
The same can be said of the War on Terrorism. We know where Osama is hiding so why don''t we take him out? Because he's a symbol and if you destroy the symbol then the war is over. Plus, he's a CIA agent -- he worked for the CIA in the 80s and once you are CIA you are always CIA.
You have seen the war on terror as the US has run that war: an erosion or complete dismissal of civil liberties; the Constitution is as dead as George Washington. I know; I am a victim of having spoken my mind in what has turned into a fascist country.
And there's your real "war" -- the War on Terror is a war on opposing viewpoints and a war on opposing political policy. Those who dissent will bear the brunt of the billions spent on this war: you will go to prison for fictitious crimes against the United States and its leader, Herr Bush.
When the drug lords are brought to justice and the flow of illegal drugs ceases, then the War on Drugs will be won. When Osama is killed and those who planned and orchestrated the 9/11 attacks are jailed or executed for treason and murder, then your War on Terror will be in its first stages of victory.
Until that Wonderland happens, the United States dives even further into the black hole called fascism. Your freedoms are history; they are no more real anymore than these two fictitious wars the US is supposedly fighting.

Precious Little Time Left
Current mood: stressed
The time has come, the appeals exhausted (thanks to an attorney too lazy and STUPID to file anything of relevance on my behalf), and there's some guy wearing a dark hood standing next to a power switch. Not sure what that's all about...
It's been fun posting on MySpace and I'm sure that Nancy (my mom) will figure out all the buttons and commands to post a blog every now and then about how the government has turned their attention away from fighting terrorism and toward harassing her. I'm not a professional seer, you don't need to be with fascism, but that is my prediction.
Oh, and the Iran thing -- it really doesn't have anything to do with nukes. I know the "liberal media" and the right-wing spinning heads are talking about Iran's nukes but if Iran had a nuke they would have done the Middle East a favor by now and used it on Israel.
Our sword-rattling is all about money. Surprised? You shouldn't be. When has Bush ever done anything in his life that didn't involve a scam about money? His two drunk driving convictions aside, the entire Bush regime revolves around money and how to get more of it into their hands and the hands of their friends.
Iran still intends to sell its oil for Euros beginning in March; Venezuela has said they will follow, as will Russia, India and China.
Bye-bye US Dollar! Bye-bye US economy! Bye-bye democracy in the US! (Not that we've had it since Bush's appointment in 2000...)
That's why Bush and Company will do everything in their power to stop Iran's plans. There's nothing we can do to stop this course of events (even though it was spelled out in Project for the New American Century back in 1998/1999, authored by the same idiots who engineered our invasion of Iraq) but you should know the truth. Money, money, money, money, money. And power. Lots of that, too.
But not nukes. Iran is not about nukes.
After Martial Law has been imposed on America, quite possibly later this year, maybe those of you who read this blog and some of my other postings will put two and two together. It's called fascism for a reason and we're not just on the road -- we've arrived.

Introducing Finn's Mom, Nancy
Current mood: pensive
Hi Everyone-
First, I want you to know I am a novice at blogs and pretty much computer navigating in general, so please bear with me and know that I am learning from you every time I post a message or receive messages from others.
As many of Finn's readers know, he is being unjustly persecuted by the United States government, and he has asked me to take over his My Space website while he is away.
My son and I share the same basic political and humanitarian beliefs, but he is more outspoken than many, which is why he's in his current predicament. It's my hope to keep his friends and readers updated and also, frankly, to draw some strength from you as I know he has.
That's all I have to say right now, but I look forward to blogging with you. I welcome any and all advice and suggestions as to how to successfully navigate My Space.

Police on the Streets
Current mood: drained
Category: News and Politics
Has anyone else noticed an increased police presence on their city streets? I live in a relatively small town; our crime rate has held steady or dropped for years, violent crime is down, petty crime is down...it seems like all crime has steadily dropped for several years yet the police presence has EXPLODED in size.
Everywhere you go there are police cars on the streets and more police walking around public areas, even going into stores. Are they profiling people or is their mere presence something we're supposed to get used to seeing?
Everyone knows that the threat of jail, prison or execution does not deter crime; if it did then there would be no crime at all. So having a larger police presence on our streets and within our communities isn't there to deter crime.
Let's see...why would a budding police state, on the brink of full-blown fascism and a totalitarian dictatorship, have their streets filled with more police?
Yep, that's a real stumper.

Housing Market is Crumbling
Current mood: Hahahaha - told ya!
Category: Hahahaha - told ya! News and Politics
This will come as no surprise to people who have been reading my blogs on the rapid and inevitable collapse of the US economy but here's some housing data you probably won't hear about on the evening news:
-- The number of housing starts fell 8.9%, declining to the lowest level in nine months. The "consensus" estimate wasn't even close, as economists had predicted a marginal decline at worst -- By region, the decline was -23.6% in the Midwest; -21.7% in the West; -14.0% in the Northeast; and a 5.2% gain in the South -- Also in December, the nationwide number of housing permits issued fell 4.4%, which was likewise well below the "consensus" estimate -- November's housing starts were revised downward from last month's preliminary estimate -- An estimated 503,000 homes for sale were on the market in late November, a record high level of inventory -- Annual spending on home remodeling increased 4.3% in 2005; in contrast, 2004 had seen a 20% gain, according to the Wall Street Journal. The most recent data shows spending on home remodeling fell 4.1% this past November
Why won't you hear about these dismal facts? Simple. To maintain the illusion of a growing and prospering economy, negative economic news is not reported. These housing facts aren't negative -- they are devastating.
Homeowners are no longer using their homes as ATM machines; many are trying to sell their homes but aren't finding any buyers...because the economy SUCKS. Who wants to buy a second home when you can't even sell the first??
And for those trying to sell, they are having to lower their asking price to remain competitive. The housing bubble has officially burst, even though the US Government-controlled media won't admit such a thing.
It will get worse from here, my friends, while the manipulative media desperately tries to reinforce the idea that all is okay. Where there's smoke, there's fire. Living in denial in a smoke-filled room is not very healthy but what's worse is burning to death because no one is willing to admit there's a fire at all.

Still Around - Just No Time to Post
Current mood: exhausted
I'm still here in Bend but that is going to change in a week or so. I am due to report to a facility on the 30th that has already told me they cannot accommodate my fatal disabilities. Although I should no longer be surprised, my court-apponted attorney told me today that he doesn't see any reason asking for a designation to another facility and will not fight for one on my behalf. Some great fucking defense attorney, eh?
I wrote him a letter last week and made a conspicuous point of bringing up his failure to accept assistance from the ACLU. Basically, I lambasted him for telling the ACLU to stay the fuck away from me, even though they would have fought for another placement in which I could survive, not to mention my civil and human rights. What did Bill have to say about that today? Not a goddamn thing. He knows he has shirked his duties to defend me and is basically working for the prosecutor and against his client but that's why the prosecutor picked him to "defend" me.
So I'll be around until about the 25th of this month when I will leave to report to the Death Camp.
My mother, Nancy, will continue posting while I am being tortured to death by the US Government for my political views and expressions. While her writing is not nearly as flamboyant as mine, she will relay interesting information about how the feds are going to harass her while I am fighting for my life. How do I know this? Because I know how these federal cowards operate. Every word out of their mouths is a lie or a threat and they have already implied in both writing and verbally that she will become a target once my life begins to ebb from me.
Never -- EVER -- trust anyone from the US Government. They are your enemy, not your friend.

Save Your Money - Don't Support These "Causes"
Current mood: 17 Days to Live
Category: 17 Days to Live News and Politics
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Human Rights Watch (HRW) Amnesty International (AI)
The "big three" when it comes to civil and human rights want you to believe that they are fighting to protect YOU and YOUR rights.
News flash: They collect your money. That's it.
For many years I supported both the ACLU and AI, with yearly monetary gifts and buying and wearing their merchandise, promoting their causes. When they asked me for help, I opened my wallet and my conscience did the rest.
When I went to them for assistance because MY rights had been summarily dismissed by my government, I could have been talking to a bedpost.
What happened to those years of faithful monetary assistance on my part? What happened to their quests to support and promote human and civil rights in our society?
They had no answer to those and similar questions, just awkward pauses in our phone conversations that led me to wonder if I was talking to an uninformed stranger on the other end of the line who didn't give two shits about my rights.
I was more correct about that assumption than I had ever dared to believe.
These organizations print newsletters about abuses around the United States and the world, and how they are working to fix these egregious abuses. "Working to fix" and "saying they are working to fix" are not the same thing; in fact, they are opposites. Saying is one thing, doing is another. AI, the ACLU and HRW are all talk and no walk. With every massacre they show up and say "we're fighting to make sure this never happens again," they pose for photographs, issues press releases, beg for money and fly back home again.
Every new massacre is a fundraising and photo-op event; nothing more.
Since 1999, I have been working with Joshua Phillips (www.freejosh.com) in Florida about his human rights abuses by the State of Florida. Has the ACLU stepped in to help? Nope. Has Amnesty International said anything about Josh? Yes, they did; in a fundraiser. But AI hasn't assisted his defense in any way. HRW mentions Josh on their website but hasn't lifted a finger to assist his rights.
If these places exist to fight for everyone's rights then why have they ignored Josh? Why are they ignoring me and my mountains of evidence? Will these organizations be there for you when your rights are quashed?
Actions speak louder than words and now I know from experience what you can expect to receive should you ever have your fundamental civil, constitutional and human rights abused: Nothing.
Do NOT send money to these phony organizations as they will disappear when you need them most.

Defense Attorney Talks ACLU Out of Taking My Case
Current mood: 18 days Left to Live
Category: 18 days Left to Live News and Politics
You read that right -- the ACLU contacted my defense attorney and he talked the ACLU out of taking my case.
On December 31st, the ACLU told me they are "coming in right now" as they were "concerned with my medical needs" and whether they would be met in an incarcerated environment.
This morning they called my attorney, William Hines in Seattle, WA, and after speaking with Hines they called me and said they were no longer interested in my case.
Still no conspiracy here?
I spoke to the ACLU this morning and basically they said that my civil rights would not be violated until I died in prison because the prison would not be able to accommodate my disabilities.
You read that right too -- if you are disabled to the point where incarceration is medically precluded yet incarcerated anyway, your civil rights are not violated until you die from lack of care.
What a motherfucking fascist shithole this country has become.

US Wants to Invade Iran - Here's Why
Current mood: determined
Category: News and Politics
Fox News is the only news outlet to carry this story so far but on New Year's Day the Bush Administration approached NATO about joining forces for an invasion of Iran. Word has it that NATO greeted this news less than enthusiastically.
The Bush Administration is saying that Iran poses a nuclear threat to the region and an invasion of their country, along with aerial bombardment, is the only way to stop their nuclear program.
There are more than a few problems with Bush's plan for an all-out war in the Middle East.
1. Rapture. Many speculate that Bush and his cronies are intentionally trying to create Armageddon so they can trigger the rapture as was written in the bible. Then, because they are the chosen ones (in their own eyes), they will ascend to the kingdom of heaven while the rest of us burn in the fires we started. However, as I understand history, you can't intentionally trigger Armageddon -- a natural course of events has to play out and this has been an unnatural situation since we invaded Iraq. There will be no rapture.
2. Does Iran have a nuke? It's up for speculation -- Iran says they don't have one but that they do have enough enriched plutonium for one nuke. Bush says we can't allow Iran to have nuclear capability for the region's stability. (Like the Mideast has ever been stable??) If Iran does have a nuke, Americans need not worry that Iran will use one of Iraq's unmanned drones to deliver the nuke to NY within 45 minutes. (Remember that tall tale?) But if you're Israeli, you might want to stock up on that one-million SPF because Iran will take out Israel in retaliation for any invasion or attack on its country.
3. SAMs. Each Iranian nuclear facility has something no US nuclear facility possesses: SAM sites (Surface to Air Missiles). Any aerial attack on Iran's nuclear reactors will mean shot-down planes for the US and our allies, if they choose to come with us. Not good public relations.
4. A Draft. It's inevitable. We do not have the troops to stabilize Iraq -- how are we going to invade Iran? They have an actual army, unlike Saddam's puppet soldiers. We'll need at least 500k soldiers and that means a draft here in the US. Men age 18-34 will be forced to fight -- no deferments this time (unless your dad is white and rich). Fight or go to prison for 10 years. If you don't want to die in Iran, choose prison. Or Canada.
5. THE REAL REASON: As I said many months ago, Iran plans to sell its oil for Euros beginning in March 2006. Venezuela has stated they will do the same if Iran does it first. Russia, which allegedly already sells some of its oil for Euros, will officially follow Venezuela. In short, world confidence in the US Dollar will take a hit; our fiat economy will crash when foreigners stop buying our debt. That's when the shit hits the fan -- one nation cannot carry $76 trillion in debt when the entire world's combined GDP is a mere $40 trillion.
The United States will take whatever military action is necessary to force Iran to keep selling its oil for US Dollars. We absolutely cannot allow the world to see just how manipulated our economy has become and Bush will literally kill an entire generation of young Americans so his wealthy friends can stay wealthy.
An invasion of Iran has NOTHING to do with them possibly having nukes. It's all about our economy and trying to keep a sinking ship afloat.
This is an unofficial warning for people to leave the United States. When the "liberal media" carries Bush's plans to the people of the US, that will be your official notice to leave the US. Go to a neutral country and pray that Bush is unsuccessful in starting WWIII.
